Conan solves the riddle and the group reaches the treasure room. Here, they find '''Kimura''' and '''Tanaka''' threatening Haibara since she said the exact location of the treasure isn't written in the notebook. Conan later manages to rescue Haibara and capture the two men. The treasure turns out to be a hot spring, which Shingen used to cure his soldiers.

Later that day, Conan has Agasa mimic what he says through the Voice-Changing Bowtie to reveal that Yasuharu's killer isn't the two hunters, but rather '''Tadao Umesaki'''. Tadao confesses and accuses Yasuharu to be a selfish person who only cares about money. Ryouzou then yells at him and says that the selfish one is Tadao.
