Conan and the Detective Boys visit an amusement park on its final day before closing. They, once again, meet Takagi and Chiba conducting a stakeout^[1].

The goal of this time's stakeout is to spot one of the culprits from a past jewel robbery.

Amount stolen: 500 billion yen worth of jewels

Culprits: Ippei Kanieda and an accomplice

The main culprit of the robbery was discovered to be a man named Ippei Kanieda, but he died in a traffic accident the next day.

Time: The day after the 500 million yen jewel theft

Cause of death: Injury from traffic accident

Strangely, no jewels were found in Ippei's home. It is thought these jewels are hidden somewhere in the nearby amusement park, and that Ippei's accomplice named "Ebishima" would rush to collect the jewels before the amusement park was demolished.
