    Manga to anime changes

    • In manga, after Yaiba's group arrived at Kumamoto, they stayed at onsen that Kumo-Otoko already arranged, so that he can find the orb with Shiro Amakusa. While the beginning part was partially adapted in Episode 5, the later part where they figured out the orb location is not adapted. In the new anime, after the group arrive at Kumamoto, they immediately meet Hitode-Otoko and his family instead of the next day during their journey to Mount Aso. The group also decide to stay at Hitode-Otoko's house. This change also lead to Kumo-Otoko using his gadget to follow Yaiba to find the orb after Shiro Amakusa failed to find it (in manga they know the location from the onsen owner).
    • Some scenes not adapted in new anime:
    • Oni minions parachuting to Kumamoto
    • Ana Shioji wondering where is Yaiba and call him idiot, which lead to Yaiba sneezing
    • Shiro Amakusa attacking Yaiba with crows
    • Kagetora trying to help Yaiba figthing against Shiro Amakusa who became tiger
    • Yaiba trying to do fire-breathing when he became dragon.
    • The scene where Yaiba transforms to Nadeshiko in bikini is unique to the anime.
