Mitsuhiko, Ayumi and Genta catch wind of a Kamen Yaiba-themed beach event and suggest that Conan and Haibara to go as well. While Agasa can't join due to his back injury, Rumi volunteers to chaperone them but not with Kobayashi since she is going to have a date with Shiratori. Conan decides to asks Subaru to come along and interfere with Rumi's possible attempt to get information about Haibara. However, it is at that very beach where the group is enjoying themselves that a murder occurs. First appearance of Detective Tsukumo. The Detective Boys go to the Kamen Yaiba-themed beach hut with Rumi and Subaru. Shuichi disguises himself as Subaru to keep an eye on Rumi.

The police, Subaru, and the Detective Boys start to investigate the case. The evidence points to Takaki as being the culprit, but after Genta's swimsuit rips at one of the shoulders, Conan realizes the true culprit. It does not end there though—some unexpected guests arrive, causing chaos and forcing Subaru and Rumi to address them. The Detective Boys go to the Kamen Yaiba-themed beach hut with Rumi and Subaru. Shuichi appears as Subaru to keep an eye on Rumi. Rumi is reminded of Tsutomu after hearing Subaru's words and witnessing him doing jeet kune do.

It is one the 60th floor of a certain building in Tokyo that the Siren Splash is being exhibited. That precious crown is Kaito Kid's latest target. Azusa and Wakita appear to deliver food, and while Wakita tries to probe Conan into spilling information about his homeroom teacher, Rumi Wakasa, Conan seems to refuses to say too much about her. The main event though, is still Kaito Kid's heist, and magically, through even the tightest of securities, he is able to appear next to the crown and make it disappear from sight, much to everyone's disbelief. Rum disguises as Wakita to deliver sushi and he asks Conan about Rumi. Heist: Siren Splash

Inspector Nakamori and the other start to investigate on how Kaito Kid stole the Siren Splash. Back at Poirot Café, Amuro, with information provided by Azusa, is able to deduce part of Kid's trick with the ketchup Azusa delivered. Meanwhile, Conan struggles to identify who is Kaito Kid in disguise, but he soon figures out how the crown disappeared and finally, Kaito Kid's disguised identity. Kid is able to escape with the crown at the last second, and in the elevator, he encounters Azusa, who he uses as his double to confuse Conan. Luckily, Azusa also had Amuro on a phone call...and it will turn out to be more than just "reviewing the details of Amuro's deduction." First appearance of the Mysterious Old Man with Bird. Kogoro, Ran and Conan arrive at the Cucina Eigo restaurant. Inside, they find that the restaurant’s layout is similar to that of the Mary Celeste ship, which remains as a famous, unsolved case from the 19th-century. A crew of ten people disappeared into thin air and the ship was found adrift. All five guests in the restaurant are also missing from their seats. They find the chef Eigo Kuchiishi collapsed on the floor, with his head wounded and the word “curse” pinned on the door using a knife. Five set of footprints and shoes were found leading to a nearby lake. The police arrive and although Kichiishi cooperates, he soon disappears, having seemingly walked into the lake like the other five customers. What is the truth behind these vanishing people?

Sonoko is invited to a dance party, who then invites Ran to join her. Conan also has to follow them because Kogoro has gone out drinking with the neighborhood association. The host is Kensaku Takada, who not only is a real estate company manager, but also has experience with karate. Who would have thought that this dance party would be his last? And who could have possibly murdered him if he possessed such strength? Sleeping Sonoko has the answer.

On Yakushima Island, a group of people find a dead corpse under the ancient Jomon Cedar tree, the victim was Hidaka Yoshimi. Two weeks later, Kogoro, Ran, and Conan are called by the victim's father to find the murderer as the local police didn't have enough clues. Their investigation reveals 4 suspects, but without much progress, they decide to have a dinner and call it a day. But the case would develop the next day, when one of the suspects named Kokusho falls off a cliff after seeing what is according to them, a yamahime. Legend has it that if you see a yamahime, you must smile, or else it will drain all the blood out of you. It seems that this case is now as mysterious as the legend itself.

Kokusho, who previously fell off the cliff, is miraculously all right. However, as the investigation progresses, the suspects become increasingly suspicious. One of them is lurking around the hospital, another is overheard saying that they would earn a bunch of money in a few days. Kogoro decides that the latter suspect is the culprit, but they have strangely disappeared. Is the culprit on the run? Or has Kogoro once again gone down the wrong path of investigation?

After taking a guest to a local jewelry purification ceremony, taxi driver Genki Ishikawa spots two suspicious people. He tries to invite Kogoro into the investigation, but under some peculiar circumstances, Ishikawa’s request is denied, which leaves him the option of investigating alone. Kogoro takes notice of the case through a TV news report, and joins Ishikawa in the investigation. To solve the mystery, however, it will take a combination of Ishikawa’s driving skills, Conan’s deduction wits, and of course, a tranquilized Kogoro.

Kogoro was hired to investigate about a case in Kanazawa, so Conan and Ran come along as well, and just before they split, Conan puts a chip to track him as the guest's identity was kept secret, however, Conan feels that someone is watching them. Mori's guest, Arihara Yumeno, recieved a letter from unknown person as if he knows about what she did 3 years ago, she also sensed someone is watching them, like Conan, the case is then revealed. Conan has somehow disappeared as well, which makes Ran worried and calls Mori. After Ran's call, Mori recieves a call state that he is keeping Conan as hostage , thus asking Mori to bring 4 people to him and not to call the police. Conan and Inami Ryusei, who is keeping him, discuss about the case 3 years ago which is the case Mori is investigating as well. And while waiting, the two are seen having a surf together. At noon, Arihara is blackmailed again and she decides to talk with the person alone. When Conan and Inami go to Inami's uncle's house when they were discussing about surfing, they realize it has been sabotaged by someone. Without much time to think, the two run away just to be chased after and ram on, will they survive ?

Conan and Inami luckily survived thanks to Conan’s elastical suspender, however, they are confronted by Kinomoto Yoji. Ran reveals that Arihara met with Kinomoto Yoji yesterday after having a call with him, however, she was also worried about Conan’s wellbeing. Just as the suspicion for Arihara is escalating, Conan suddenly calls Ran and apologizes for not doing that sooner and tells the group to come to his place. Then Kinomoto reveals that he is Inami’s uncle and yells at him for kidnapping Conan. After that the group discuss about the case 3 years ago and point out the real culprit, however, there are no proofs at all, so sleeping Kogoro has to reveal the truth of the case.

Conan, Kogoro, and Ran are investigating a strange string of murders and cross paths with Heiji and Kazuha, who are also investigating the same crimes. They learn that the murders are linked to Takeda Shingen and his chosen war strategy Fuurinkazan. First introduction of Kansuke Yamato and Yui Uehara. Ran consoles Kazuha when Heiji goes to investigation saying that he didn't want to put Kazuha in danger,as they are always in danger of being targeted by criminals and after being kept in suspense he (Heiji) will tell you the real story with a prideful look on his face, just like Shinichi just then Yui Uehara tells Ran and Kazuha "Be as swift as the wind" and says it's ok to be calm and wait patiently like a mountain, but while feelings are strong acting as swift,like the wind is another choice you have, because if you grow careless before you can tell him your feelings the other person might vanish before your eyes because there are some things that can't be brought back.

Conan, Heiji, and Officer Yamato ambush the murderer before they are able to kill the final target. Ran and Kazuha discover the strategy for love is "Furinkazan" and both try to confess their love to Shinichi and Heiji respectively only to end up being "as Quiet as the Forest". Meeanwhile Shinichi's thought bubble says to "Be immoveable like the Mountain"

Ayumi doesn't know what to write on her illustrated diary until a TV show inspires her, so she decided to do a small film and write the process of it. The first day, the detective boys ask for infomation about the case Mori sovled on his own. On the next day, they start asking people for more information, notably, Takagi and Chiba. For the last day of filming, it turns out that Mori accidently saw the culprit and arrest him, however, Conan notices some strange details, so the detective boys ask for Interrogation Tape. After that they, Takagi and Chiba wait for the true culprit.

While a traditional Inn is placed under remodeling, The Innkeepers found an unusual safe and they call 2 antiques assessors and a business man, also, arising concern that someone will take it away is why Mori, Ran and Conan arrive at the first place. At night, everyone is having a dinner together, except for the business man, however, 8:00 pm at the same day, a fire starts in the business man room and he is found dead. The police arrive at the sence, Conan after hearing their assessment, starts to investigate about the case and points out the culprit as sleeping Kogoro.
