At night, Ran, Sonoko, and Conan were watching the sunset on the hill and they saw Tetsuji go up on the mechanical trolley and waving at them before falling at the bottom of the cliff. Conan rushes to the scene and find him dead along with Naoya, who had seen him fall from the house.
