Her life was ruined when her parents divorced and she hasn't spoken to her father in 3 years because she believes he had an affair with another woman. When her mom decides they ought to visit her father over the summer, Ronnie isn't exactly pleased and expects a dull summer spent ignoring her father and avoiding him. However, what she doesn't expect is to discover the meaning of love in more than one way -- love between parents and children as well as first true love. That's the basics.
