Aeyra Posted July 30, 2011 Author Report Posted July 30, 2011 Nice~! Only thing you need to work on is proportions, like with the hands and the body size in comparison to the head. (I'm a semi DraMione and full on Snape/Lily fan, so yeah~!) Yay! Semi DraMione! ^^ Yeah, I messed up on Hermione. It was hard to figure out where Draco reached in terms to her height and I gave up taking his height into consideration because he's like- half a foot taller. Hands are just as hard. Snape/Lily? I'm not a big supporter (I like James but I think he's an awful prat (the Draco Malfoy of his generation)) and the last movie kind of creeped me out when Snape started crying over Lily's dead body. I think they're like DraMione though...
Sayomi Posted July 30, 2011 Report Posted July 30, 2011 Draco and Hermione are both REALLY pale in the drawings xD But otherwise, awesome job
Stopwatch Posted July 30, 2011 Report Posted July 30, 2011 @Aeyra: I prefer Snape/Lily from the books to the movies 'cause they explain it much better. Plus, the 'hugging a corpse' scene didn't happen in the books...
Aeyra Posted July 30, 2011 Author Report Posted July 30, 2011 @Aeyra: I prefer Snape/Lily from the books to the movies 'cause they explain it much better. Plus, the 'hugging a corpse' scene didn't happen in the books... That's why I was like when it happened in the movie, it was kind of creepy. And I agree for the books (though I don't support it because I like Harry looking like James and not like Snape) because Snape was always nice towards Lily until he was bullied by James, lost control of his temper for one moment, and called her a Mudblood. And because of that Lily thinks it's necessary to drop him as a friend and diss him for the rest of their Hogwarts days and falls in love with James (who she btw hated the entire time, and also bullied Snape and is therefore responsible for Snape calling Lily a mudblood). The romance makes a lot more sense, I mean, why did Lily fall in love with James anyway? (okay, maybe James has the same personality as Draco and that makes him cool, but still. I need more foundation.)
justwantanaccount Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 OMG, that's my OTP! :shipped for ~5 years: Adorable drawings, they're excellent. ^^
Aeyra Posted July 31, 2011 Author Report Posted July 31, 2011 OMG, that's my OTP! :shipped for ~5 years: Adorable drawings, they're excellent. ^^ Another DraMione lover! Yes! High-five! ^^ They're bloody awesome, aren't they? I wish I could say I've shipped it that long, but I've only shipped them for less than a month. I just discovered it reall, but I love it to death.
justwantanaccount Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 OMG that's awesome! Dramione is a wonderful ship, we have very talented writers and artists - I'm glad you decided to join our ranks! <3 We're a very exciting, sexy, and intriguing ship.
Aeyra Posted July 31, 2011 Author Report Posted July 31, 2011 OMG that's awesome! Dramione is a wonderful ship, we have very talented writers and artists - I'm glad you decided to join our ranks! <3 We're a very exciting, sexy, and intriguing ship. LOLZ at sexy. ^^ I've actually been up (it's nearly one in the morning) for the past four hours reading an amazing fic called 'Fire Dragon'. I'm actually rereading it. It's... 69 chapters of awesomeness. I prefer the slow build-up kind of DraMione that makes everything feel so natural and right, and this is such a great example. It plays them as mortal enemies in the beginning, but slowly, they start to know each other, and OMG it's so good. Its past normal novel length but I love marathon reading it. Search up fire dragon Harry potter fanfiction. ^^
justwantanaccount Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 Thanks for the rec! I would rec you fics, too, but most of my favorites are R-rated and I don't know your age, so I'm afraid to do so. ^^; But yes, DHr is definitely one of those ~overcoming differences and achieving WORLD PEACE~ type of ship. It's wonderful seeing Draco and Hermione get along with each other eventually, and maybe even see the douchebag that is Draco become a worthy human being. EDIT: Do you know dramione.org? Fanfiction.net has some amazing fics, but some of the best ones aren't there. Also, dhr.accio.nu is an excellent site for rec'ing/digging up stories. dramione.livejournal.com would be an excellent place to join discussions, to seek recs, etc. If you are over 18 you should join dmhgficexchange.livejournal.com, so that you can read some of the fics there, that aren't in dramione.org or fanfiction.net.

I just got out of middle school... And I think the beauty of DraMione can be reached well enough without- erm- yeah. I can handle M, I'm just not comfortable with it...
Lovestruck Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 Very talented! But if u really watch the last movie ( Harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2) U,ll find that she end with Ron ! Srry 2 Spoil..*^ I saved the pic in my iPhone I like 1 & 3!! 100/100
justwantanaccount Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 Who says we have to follow canon? We have fanfiction and amazing writers! @Aeyra: Ah, that's what I figured - people on here are very young - there's a super old fic that I read way back when called Basketcase by Attica, if you're interested. It's one of those 7th-year headgirl!Hermione/headboy!Draco type of story, if you're into those.

Srry 2 Spoil..*^ I saved the pic in my iPhone I like 1 & 3!! 100/100 Oh, I know. I read the seventh book when it came out, but I wasn't a DraMione back then. I was a HarMione who knew it wasn't going to happen but wanted it anyway. It doesn't spoil anything. Who says we have to follow canon? We have fanfiction and amazing writers! @Aeyra: Ah, that's what I figured - people on here are very young - there's a super old fic that I read way back when called Basketcase by Attica, if you're interested. Specifically Maya's 'Draco Malfoy, The Amazing Bouncing... Rat?'. It's amazing, hands down. I'll definitely read it! I love the headgirl/headboy stories. Best way.
justwantanaccount Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 I remember that fic! It's excellent, for sure. I was never much of a RonHer shipper, either. Don't get me wrong, I love Ron to death and I think that he's an excellent character, but I just couldn't ever really buy RonHer. It's an intuitive thing for me, unfortunately. ^^;

Don't get me wrong, I love Ron to death and I think that he's an excellent character, but I just couldn't ever really buy RonHer. I don't like Ron much though... His random bouts of disloyalty kind of bug me because he doesn't have the best reasons. I also love the fic 'Aurelian'. Ever heard of it?
justwantanaccount Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 No, I have not - I have to say, I had a period of time when my DHr passion burned out for a bit after reading so many. ^^; This one looks excellent, though! I love post-Hogwarts, HP7-compliant but EWE stories! I'll check it out.
Aeyra Posted August 1, 2011 Author Report Posted August 1, 2011 No, I have not - I have to say, I had a period of time when my DHr passion burned out for a bit after reading so many. ^^; This one looks excellent, though! I love post-Hogwarts, HP7-compliant but EWE stories! I'll check it out. Yeah, it's simply amazing... I prefer the T rated stories over more mature ones. Somehow, all the um, more serious romance really ruins the magic of it for me. I don't care if it's mentioned behind the scenes, but personally I'm more concerned about how they fall in love and a great plot/story that brings them even closer than how they love. Yeah... I wish less DraMione fics were rated M. I started one, and it began with a rape scene. (not Draco, but some random Death Eater torturing Hermione. I have not stepped a foot in the M rated world since. XP)
justwantanaccount Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 Oh, I don't like the stories where the romance takes complete center-stage, either - especially the ones where the only characters present seem to be Draco and Hermione, and all the other characters get pushed aside or dismissed. I also hate fics where Hermione is a victim, too - Draco might become a victim, but Hermione's the kind to fight until the end, at least in my opinion. There was also an AU fic where Draco joins the Order of the Phoenix and starts leading some of its operations, while Hermione sits back home doing practically nothing - that seriously irritated me, Hermione is not the housewife-type, gosh darn it! I'm glad you didn't like that fic - as much as I love my ship, we do have some twisty people around - but I can tell you that not all M-rated fics are like that. I'm not encouraging you to read them, though - you just got out of middle school, right? I wouldn't want anyone to ruin your innocence. I started reading Aurelian! Funnily enough, it was rated M on Dramione.org, though it's rated T on FF.net . . . Anyways, it's excellent so far! I love how the author gives great respect to Harry, Ron, and all the other supporting characters! Too many DHr fics reduce Harry and especially Ron to 2-dimentional douchebags.

harrieth.dc Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 I like it more when they're drawn... )) Draco looks attractive..!!! hehehe.. ))
IdentityUnknown Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 Your drawings are great for being done digitally (never got the hang of that though my classmate is amazing). I think I liked the third picture best, not sure why. Great job!
Anti-APTX4869 Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 Draco! He's awesome. But I like Ron the best. He always gives good laughs. Same goes for Nevile(? Bad speller. Ignore me) because of his explosive magic. Last movie was disappointing though. I like the book better. But over all, My favorite character in Harry Potter series is Luna! >_<

I suspect Nargles are behind it! XD (I watched the fifth movie a few nights ago...) The last movie was hilarious though. I was laughing most of the way through. :3 I actually thought Harry and Voldemort were going to kiss when they jumped... And who could forget that awkward hug?
