I won't like it if she ends up with Akai lol I'm hoping that, at the most, Akai will be like her brother. I just hope Gosho introduces a new character that is perfect match for her. Anyway, I'm sure Gosho is considering what most fans want and what weights more, the years of waiting of Ran or the years of suffering of Haibara. Well most fans want Ran to end up with Shinichi and since, Ran's waiting is many times longer than Haibara's suffering of not telling him, it's gotta be Ran. Also, Shinichi and Ran have already built their relationship since when they're still kids. Haibara came far too late. But if they happen to know Shinichi at the same time, No doubt I'll vote for Haibara. But as it stands, sorry, I'll vote for Ran, though it hurts for me since I'm ShinXShi lol. Either way, Ran or Haibara, It'll be fine for me.

DC needs to be where it needs to be. Time shall not pass in DC by much since if it happens, the plot will completely be messed up. Also you gotta understand that if Conan ages, does his true form also age? That would be an absolute disaster and imagine 3 years has passed and finally he found the cure. What will be his age when he turns back to shinichi? Will he still be 17 or he skips 18-19 and is already 20?

Nah I'm 100% sure of it that no cases in DC are related in irl. I remember in one of Gosho's inteview that he never did any case about something irl and he'll never do it out of respect.

The biggest flaw in DC is how Mouri Kogoro doesn't suspect Conan at all. Yeah, he did once, but after that he never did again. It's too obvious for Kogoro that the one who makes him sleep is Conan. He even struck him once with a stun gun in the hands face to face. You may say that Kogoro is an idiot but even an idiot can't be fooled by that. I'm pretty sure it's really for the sake of the plot and nothing else but if it's not for that, he had probably been caught around 700 episodes ago

She's kinda boring really and too one-sided character. It's probably because she is not given that much limelight. That leaves her character and personality unexplored at lengths. Same with Kazuha. If you'll see, her only purpose in the story is to give purpose for Shinichi to hunt down the BO. I don't dislike her but Gosho needs to give her more depth, storywise. The only time where I felt her presence in the episode is on the episode in the first season where she tries to corner Conan into submitting that he is Shinichi. Sonoko even beats her in terms of the depth of personality. The only description that I can give to Ran is she's the girl that Shinichi likes and she does Karate. She's hard at the outside but soft in the inside. She also cries too much.
