Finally, after all this time, a new opening! It will begin airing on January 7, 2012. Not much else is known about the opening. This is still premature news, but I decided to put it out there for you people to speculate and talk. And special thanks to skyechan for updating the wiki with this info! My personal thoughts on it: Seriously, Miss Mystery? That's one syllable off from Misty Mystery... Wow, either BREAKERZ couldn't think of anything creative or Gosho specifically told them to make a "mystery" based theme for the new opening and BREAKERZ took it a little too literally... I'm hoping it's good, and considering it will have been more than 4 months since Misty Mystery began to air, Gosho has no excuse to make it boring. I'm expecting some ShinRan, random other pairings, a small Kaito Kid appearance of course, BO (no reason not to), etc. If this opening turns out to be like OP-16 (where Chianti and Korn appeared even though they were never yet revealed in the anime), then who wants to bet... God, I absolutely can not wait. Unfortunately, if the many files after this explain the whole Okiya is Akai and Amuro is Scar Akai thing and the whole faked death, it may be a really long wait before something really exciting happens. I don't want to sit through months of chapters about stuff I already know. Maybe this will be another Clash of Red and Black type arc, which stretches on forever. Whatever happens, I'm looking forward to some hardcore BO action!

The DCTP translation of the the trailer came out, and it seems my rough translation was quite rough. Apparently Kogoro said, "If we don't solve the code, another victim will surface!" Judging from this and this only, probably a person dies every 30 minutes or so until the code is solved/the bombs blow. But another less likely option is the culprit leaves an impossible riddle for Kogoro (and Conan, but the culprit doesn't know that) to solve, and offers hints and clue to solve it. The twist is, for every hint the culprit reveals, someone dies. If this is the case, I think this will be the first time ever Conan/Shinichi sacrifices the life of anyone, culprit or victim, intentionally. Unfortunately, I doubt Gosho would do that so I'm leaning toward my first theory. But unless something along the lines of my second theory happens, this movie will probably be a disappointment.

The guy with brown hair and beard in the Big Osaka jersey is Ryusuke Higo. He's appeared in previous episodes as a minor character, but if he plays a major role in this movie, a wiki page might just have to be made for him.

Is it just me, or does the title somewhat disappoint? It's not exactly something I'd expect from a DC movie and the number 11 sort of make you wince. It would have been better if they used this idea for M-11 (similar to how M-15 was "Quarter [15 minutes] of Silence" and how M-2 shouldn't have been called "The Fourteenth Target"). Any other title would have sufficed. I made a list of acceptable titles below: - "Overkill in Overtime" - "Field of Despair" - "Shot Heard Round the Stadium" Sure, they may be corny but at least they don't have a number in the title that doesn't even match up with the number of movies made so far.

This just made my day! Damn, this is seems interesting... Now we know it definitely won't involve KK or the BO. But did anyone else find it strange Ran wasn't even in the promotional poster? Either Gosho assumes we all assume there will be ShinRan action, or this movie will focus heavily on the Detective Boys. I'm just hoping this movie isn't light-hearted like M-14 (what a disaster that was). The other info that has been revealed doesn't really suggest much. Everyone's at a soccer game, Ran and Sonoko are involved, maybe a bit of some skateboard action, but that's it. No bombs, no death, no nothing. Either Gosho is really trying to keep as much as possible a secret, or this movie will be a lot like M-14. Let's hope my first theory is right.

Your uncanny observational skills are amazing once again, Chek! You still manage to spot slight clues and hints to solidify your theory. There's really not much to add after your analysis. The real question is what's going to happen in the next chapter? It definitely won't end, because there's way too much explanation to give in only 15 pages. I'm betting it'll end by the final 700 chapter, 799, but I'm guessing the final file to this arc will tie in with 800 (similar to what happened in 699-700). And with Sera and Amuro both involved, who knows how things will turn out by file 800? The excitement and hype is too much! Can't wait for the first bits of spoilers!

I agree with IdentityUnknown and Sayomi. I haven't cried watching anything related to DC yet. Sure some cases were sort of sad, but they aren't that moving. Movies cases are pretty much just there for action, OVAs are just to laugh at, and the Live Actions had some pretty damn sad cases, but nothing to cry over.

Just read the English file. Nothing really special if you've kept up with the Chinese scans provided by Koizumi Akako and the translations provided by Chek. It's just nice to see it fully translated. This arc seems insane and the questions are piling up. Can't wait for the next one!
