  1. I'll reply to it, since I actually have something to say... I feel like there are a lot of fanbases like this for a lot of different things. If somebody doesn't like something I like, and they present their argument logically, I'm cool with that. I'm not one to defend my interests to the death or anything. What really ticks me off is when, as you say, people try to shut down your argument by calling you "stupid" or "clearly blind/deaf" or by saying you have "**** taste", as it can get really annoying. Everyone's opinion is up for debate; there is no one right answer. People who think there is a clear cut yes-no when it comes to something as wishy-washy and petty as "best band", "best video game", "best movie", or "best anime/manga" are the ones that need to take a couple of big steps back and chill out. Now, I do feel kind of bad for saying this now, considering Lovestruck doesn't seem to be around anymore, but she was waaaaaaaay out of line in her posts on this topic a page back. Not cool at all and I hope she's come to be at least somewhat accepting of other people's opinions now.
  2. I really want Majora's Mask 3D! Oh, but before that, I need Alpha Sapphire. And Super Smash Bros for Wii U, along with Mario Kart 8. Ah, and when Xenoblade Chronicles X and Splatoon come out... Dammit Nintendo senpai, I only have so much money!!
  3. ^You're thinking of this quote, right?
  4. Hang on, that's actually not so bad. Have I been so deprived of sleep that five and a half hours seems like a good amount?! I need to think long and hard about what's important in my life...
  5. Wow, you must have been reeeeeaaaallly tired last night...
  6. Majora's Mask 3D is happening and I'm so happy I could cry.

    1. Moonlit Flower

      Moonlit Flower

I've seen this today as well. When I first looked at it, I didn't see much difference in the graphics, but then I took a closer look at it, and the graphics looked great. I asked my brother if he was going to get the game since he already has Ocarina of Time 3d which came with his 3ds, which he got for Christmas back in 2011; and he said "I don't know, maybe..." That usually means a 'yes', so I'm sure he'll be interested in getting it. :)

  7. Ah, I see, I'll admit BSB have pretty catchy songs. My sister used to listen to them a lot, so it reminds me of when I was younger. Such a chill guy!
  8. What the actual what? I don't want to say the film industry is in a bad state, because it's not, but there are times when it takes many steps back. And this is one of those times.
  9. While there's nothing wrong with guys liking boys bands, I do have to say it's rather intriguing that a guy would "always" like boy bands. Boy bands usually sing songs touting their love for girls, meant for girls. It would be like a girl saying they always enjoy listening to songs in which a cute group of female idols confess their feelings to the listener. I've always put my money on Balthazar being a guy though. Hm, you've gotten me thinking...
  10. Speaking of this s-b11119 guy, where did he go? Ever since I deduced what his name meant he's been MIA.
  11. This is a thing?! I must have it!
  12. Has anybody brought up the idea of trying to cure cancer? Since APTX4869 derives its name from apoptosis, which is a process some cells undergo to cure tumors (and potentially cancer) through "cell suicide", could that have been the original purpose of it? After all, if the prototype of the drug wasn't as fine tuned as it should have been then it very easily could have caused vital cells in the body to kill themselves. Would it be possible for the death of cells in the heart to go undetected in an autopsy? APTX4869 might have been made in an attempt to save someone close Anokata who has cancer. I'll admit I haven't been following the conversation and debate of the true BO modus operandi, but this was just an idea I was toying with. It's not a very creative one, so I'm sure someone has already found holes in this theory.
  13. Speaking of Ikimono-gakari, I just listened to "Sakura".
  14. Oh bless you!
  15. You're like, my long lost twin when it comes to Pokemon this is honestly really crazy. I can't get enough of playing my DS in bed, which is why I use an M3 DS Simply chip, which is pretty much an empty DS chip with a slot for a micro SD card. Once you set it up, you just drag and drop ROMs into the SD card, put it in the M3, and put that into the DS. It's really great, because I've had practically no problems with it. It plays any and all ROMs perfect, no lag and no glitches. It feels exactly like a DS game. I've even traded Pokemon from games on my M3 to legit phyical copies, which is nifty. It's better than most actual emulators, from what I can tell. The only problem I've had is that it occasional crashes which leads to some save data loss, which can all be tied back to the M3 not being fitted perfectly to the slot in the DS as of course it's not official Nintendo property. But that's also why I keep backup files on my computer, in the event something like this happens. I honestly think it's worth the investment, even with the 3DS out, because there are still tons of DS games to play. The first shiny I found in the wild was a Geodude (Diamond). I chained for a shiny Ditto shortly afterward and somehow got it on a chain of 8 (Pearl). I then found a shiny Clefairy (White) with amazing IVs, an average nature, and the right nature. I hunted for shiny starters in HG and got about 3 shiny Chikorita, 2 shiny Cyndaquil, and 1 shiny Totodile (that I lost because my M3 chip chose the worst time to freeze). The Lake of Rage Gyarados was next. I then went back to Pearl to chain a shiny Pichu which I got at a chain of 22. Of course, most recently I found that Skorupi in White 2 that Bianca killed because I was teamed up with her and you can't catch a Pokemon when you're versing two at a time. I've found tons of shinies on GTS, many of which are obviously fake (impossible catch places, perfect IVs, unreasonable ID numbers, Pokemon unobtainable as shiny like Mew, etc.). I actually have about 2 boxes full of shinies, hacked and legit. EDIT: Oops, forgot that I also RNG abused a bit in my Ruby version to get a shiny Treeko, shiny Groudon, and shiny Beldum. I might get around to RNG abusing for more shinies, specifically Rayquaza, but I haven't had the time for it. And I've heard stories of people's circle pads breaking. I don't want my Pikachu 3DS to suffer the same fate, so I won't be getting the 3DS version. The Wii U version is more than enough anyway, so I don't think I'll be missing much. I think I have a bad habit of defending clones, ever since I mained Roy back in Melee. And it's no different now as I'm a fan of Lucina in Sm4sh. I do see where you came from, but honestly the roster would have been smaller if the clones were to be removed and the most we could have gotten in return is three extra trophies. Not to mention, fans of the characters that were made into clones don't have to settle for just recolors, so I think it's all good.
  16. Thank goodness Moho, if you hadn't posted today I would have completely forgotten the opening had even aired. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PH2ScEaeKpE It's not a copy-paste DC opening at least, but it's not a very good one either. It has an interesting atmosphere and color scheme, but a bit too many ShinRan and poorly animated scenes. The numbered doors reminded me of 999, but I'm crazy like that. Mai Kuraki lost her edge a long time ago; nothing she sings recently is something I'd put on my iPod. Also, no BO = 0/10 will never not skip.
  17. You're just like me, I used to (and still do...) sneak my out DS in bed to play during the wee hours of the night. It hasn't been Pokemon as much as it's been other DS games though. My 3DS is so precious to me and I treat it like it's really fragile even if it's not. I would never let myself play it in bed; it can only be played on a desk. And because the only Pokemon games worth playing anymore are on there, I just haven't had much of a chance to play as much as I would like. I've actually never played any Pokemon hacks, just because none of them have really appealed to me. It's not that I don't mind game mods/hacks, because I do (the Project M mod for Brawl is a amazing), but I've just always liked Pokemon games the way they usually are. It's cool it seems you've found a lot of shinies. Which ones have you gotten? I would ask to trade some of my shinies for yours, but the Wifi connectivity between all DS games has been discontinued. Because Dr. Mario is a true clone of Mario, he took almost no development time. Characters, even ones like Lucas and Wolf, take a ton of time as new models need to be made and hit/hurt boxes need to placed in to get a character started. Then he/she needs to be tested and balanced against other characters. Even small differences in range and knockback can make a character either OP or flimsy. Dr. Mario doesn't need a new model, moves, hit/hurt boxes, or animations. He's just Mario with a new costume, and very small physical property changes. The dev team probably had extra time to do something, but not enough time to make a new character so they "brought back" Dr. Mario. It's the same story with Dark Pit and Lucina. And just to show how long it takes to make a character from scratch, Mewtwo (with only a standstill model as of now) will have a moveset, hurt/hit boxes, animations, voice acting, sound effects, and physical properties done by Spring of 2015, which is a long ways away considering it's not even winter yet. I think Sakurai described the clones characters as dessert after a meal, something that cannot be changed to a steak, if that analogy makes any sense.
  18. ^Praised be, though they did play a bit of a role in the climax. They weren't as annoying as usual, from what I can recall. I wished Haibara played a larger part in the movie, though the parts she did play felt a bit out of character.
  19. Didn't finish it yet, but I'm currently reading "A Farewell to Arms" by Ernest Hemingway.
  20. “This morning, as I was driving to work, I mistook a big brown box on the side of the road for a deer. It was dark, and I swerved at the last second, and even though it wasn’t a deer, I still managed to nail that son of a bitch.” - Jarod Kintz ^This guy is too good, even made me laugh when I'm stressed.
  21. Aw man, I remember I used to listen to Acid Black Cherry a lot. My favorite song of theirs is "Yes". Also, it's kind of funny, my math teacher from last year always said "Q.E.D.", which stands for the Latin phrase "quod erat demonstrandum", reminded him of quesadillas.
  22. Stop it, you're reminding me I've procrastinated enough on my physics lab and it's hurting me.
  23. Brutal stuff right there; Googled that myself shortly after finishing Trials and Tribulations a few months back.
