  1. "Anime-This-Season Chat/Discussion" It is neither summer nor autumn yet, Reverend. Nah, just playing, I don't mind what you post here, just a bit disheartened not many people are watching Kekkai Sensen.
  2. Eeeyyyy, a new DC chapter! Doesn't seem particularly exciting, but whatever it takes to kill a few minutes, you know?
  3. Big Hero 6 Pretty standard Disney movie. Rather predictable and good for the kiddies, but it's only so deep. However, very impressive visuals and facial expressions. It was a fun watch just for the experience, but it's miss-able if you're short on time and only want to hit up the really impressive stuff.
  4. Hard work? Eheh, most of my shinies were obtained via luck. Hrmph, you're a stubborn one aren't you? Well, it's no good arguing about it now I guess, since we don't have any way of trading with each other. Those poor Pokemon will just continue to sit in the PC... I don't know why everyone took the BC exam either. I think it was mainly peer pressure. Because Calc classes are taken by juniors and seniors, the really talented and ambitious juniors decide to take BC, which pressures seniors who don't want to look bad to self study for the BC as well, which make less-ambitious juniors in turn jump on the band wagon. It was actually a pretty nasty cycle, so ultimately the BC:AB ratio was about 2:1. I'd wager to guess that only a third to half of those that took the BC exam even took the class. Those who were self studying all used the excuse "There's going to be an AB subscore, so whatevs" and walked out of the test thinking "I had no idea what I was doing..." It's like they all went full Hideaki Anno. Oh well, high schoolers will be high schoolers... I really hope you can get some well deserved rest once APs are done! Actually, with those naps you've been taking, I guess you have been! Pride and Prejudice was one of the summer reading books for AP Lit, along with Handmaid's Tale. I didn't think it was all that impressive, mainly because Handmaid's Tale blew me out of the water and because there were two characters in there that raised my blood pressure every time I saw their name on paper (and no, not in a good way). They're just as bad in the movie. "Classics" rarely ever rub me the right way, not too sure why. The only classic I've ever loved reading was Tale of Two Cities. -- OMM: Watched Big Hero 6 today, because who needs to study for AP Bio when you can just watch a movie about exaggeratedly fake science, right??? (I just came for the Japanese aspects, honestly) Anywhoo, playtime's over. Now that I've recharged it's time to get back to studying...
  5. Poking this thread because I'm wondering if anyone else is watching Kekkai Sensen on here. Sooooo... is anybody? Because if you aren't get to it right now; it's amazballs!
  6. I... uh, that song got old for me the second time I heard it. Not ragging on your taste in music, just saying. gomenasaiii Now this is a song that never gets old. Mainly because it makes for a great workout song since I jog perfectly in sync with the beat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUH9S44D1BM
  7. Holy fountain water, this is amazing!! You're a really talented singer and I really like the style of your songs! I'll be keeping a eye out for your future works! Also, welcome to DCW! Things are rather slow around here, but you'll find that it's also kind of cozy. Feel free to post around and get yourself acquainted the few who post regularly.
  8. Gin not being the main focus kind of grinds my gears, but at least there isn't an anime original org member introduced yet.
  9. I didn't watch the entirety of this, and since I'll be missing Lit class on Monday (because of APs) when we finish the movie I doubt I ever will, but the last movie I saw was Pride and Prejudice.
  10. Fair enough, I suppose.
  11. Hello,world! -- BUMP OF CHICKEN https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOU4YiuaxAM
  12. I GOT MARTH!! GOD BLESS YOU AMAZON! GOD BLESS YOU GOD! The shipping cost is kinda high, but I guess that's what I get for not having Prime. Oh yes, and God bless Swagbucks for letting my buy this without the aid of my parents, fufufufufu... What a day. What a damn fabulous day. I'm so happy right now, forget the UBW episode tomorrow. I just want it to be next week right now and have the Hero King himself arrive at my door.
  13. There's nothing I want in return, haha. You can see them as gifts, because they aren't doing much good in my backlogged games. A majority of people in my school took the BC exam, even though most of them have only learned AB or aren't even in the AP classes. I didn't realize this, but there was a lot of peer pressure to take the harder test, even if it meant self-studying. Of course, since a lot of these people were seniors, a lot of people regretted their choice after the exams, ahahah... gg no re classmates, gg no re... It's too bad something you really prepared for wasn't that prevalent on the BC exam, but it's good to hear that you felt you did well regardless! The AB exam wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. As for the Lit and Physics 1 exams (yeah, that's the Physics test I took), well... it's a long story so I'll save it for the other thread, eheheh. Just have Bio left myself. Yes, let's suffer together.... Pfttt, you're too good for that Asuna gif, but I guess it fits the scenario well enough. OMM: We're watching Pride and Prejudice in Lit because of AP exams, and as much as I hate to admit it, it's a rather well done adaptation of a subpar chick-book. Better than a lot of manga->anime adaptions at the very least. All the girls in my class gushed over the rain scene, and I was just sitting there thinking about how uncomfortable it must have been to act that out, all soggy and wet.
  14. tfw your school just straight up doesn't have A/C
  15. ... Now, I'm not judging you or anything but... given what you've learned in biology class what else did you think they could have been? Placoderms??? (obligatory ,,,,,chameleon song) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmcA9LIIXWw
  16. Ain't nobody got time fo dat prt sc! Oof, everyone in my school is keeling over in agony because of allergies. I'm just grateful I don't have seasonal allergies, or at least I don't think I do. It would hate it if I suddenly developed them, because as sad as I am to see winter leave I love myself some spring sunshine. I hope spring isn't making you suffer too much! Haha, I'm wouldn't say I'm extremely lucky, since I've played hundreds of hours of 3rd gen games, spanning Hoenn and Kanto, never using Repels, and yet only now have I run into a random shiny. I will admit that I've had a lot more luck in 4th gen games and even 5th gen (RIP Skorupi, Bianca will never be forgiven) and heck even that Wonder Traded Flabebe was really lucky I guess. If I knew you in real life, I'd trade you a handful of my shinies, since I have far too many of them and not enough time to train them all up and give them the love they deserve. It's a shame Nintendo discontinued Wii and DS WiFi. And ohmygosh, thank you so much for those formula sheets! You're a life saver! I feel so unburdened after that Calc exam. Joking, Lit and Physics tomorrow, ahahahahah ahah ahhh hah h I hope the BC test wasn't as lethal as you expected it to be, haha.
  17. Quick, somebody bookmark this page so when Kitty grows up we can show this post to her and see how she really feels about weekends then.
  18. E3 always sneaks up on me until right about early May, and then for an entire month I'm just too hyped to sleep.
  19. I won't deny it, writing college essays was actually really fun. Some of the prompts were a pleasure to write about, no joke. Hold the phone. My school had 90s day today, and during passing they played a bunch of catchy tunes from two decades ago, this being one of them. Geez, talk about a coincidence. Oh nooo, it was practically time for me to start waking up and getting ready to go to school when you posted this! Goodness, and you even took the time to reply in that other thread! Hmph, as much I appreciate the sentiment, you should have put yourself first and gotten some rest, b-b-baka. Woah, snowing even now? Phew, I love snow and all, but I still need a solid chunk of my four seasons. Huh, I wonder how Cleveland's going to be... OMM: Yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I wanted to kill a few minutes yesterday so I played a bit of Pokemon Sapphire (the old GBA one). Bleh, I almost forgot I was in the middle of a speed run to RNG a shiny Kyogre. I was surfing from Lilycove to Mossdeep, just trying to hit up all the trainers while avoiding as much water as possible. I had considered stocking up on some Repels back in Lilycove, but decided against it. I've always wanted to avoid using Repels when possible, because what if run into a shiny, right? I was feeling impatient and just wanted to get things done as soon as could, but I forced myself to stick to my guns. Right before reaching the opposite shore, I stumbled upon this little bastard. Wooohooooo!! My first ever 3rd gen non-RNG abused shiny! It's not my favorite Pokemon and the nature and IVs aren't the best, but it's a shiny!! I told Lady Luck not to be a stranger, but damn I didn't quite expect this. (I'm going to run out of luck before June, seriously...)
  20. The one in real life? It's in France. The fictional one from the visual novel exists in two places: some wintry European country and on the outskirts of Fuyuki City.
  21. I'm such a weeb, I read that as "hee hee hee"... OMM: The weather was absolutely phenomenal today. The sun was out, but it wasn't too hot or dry or humid, and there was a slight breeze. The grass was super green because it's all new blades, and the sky had a gradient to it I never noticed before. It was robin egg blue around the edges of the horizon and a deeper lake blue when you looked straight up. There were only simple cumulus clouds in the sky, the kinds you can make images out of. It's the kind of day you use to lie in the grass and roll around a bit, maybe even take a nap. It was the kind of day that made up hazy memories of your childhood, of school breaks and weekends, no homework, best friends. Not a care in the world. It was the kind of day you used to take for granted, because damn there hasn't been a spring day like this a long while. It's even better because the cherry blossoms are in full bloom right now. Thank you, Mother Nature, for reminding me of the important things in life during this stressful week.
  22. I want to visit Chateau de Brissac, as it's the real life castle the Einzbern estate (Fate series) was based off of. (spoilered for size) Einzbern estate from visual novel: Chateau de Brissac:
