But you have to admit the new chapter and M-15 are things to look forward to.

      Just wait until file 800

  4. This Toru guy isn't exactly what I expected, but then again, everything still points to the fact that he's Bourbon. He has a "sillier" personality compared to an average BO member which suggests he's probably not really one of those "Gin"-type characters. Aw man, I was hoping he would be a hardcore member. We need more members that would kill someone else in cold blood. But I guess Bourbon just stalks around in the shadows, avoiding violent confrontations (as much as possible), and gathers information. And as Chekhov mentioned, it definitely doesn't seem like Gin would be very fond of Toru. Also...
  5. This new arc seems extremely exciting. I'm hoping that it's not a red herring (I don't think it would be this close to chapter 800). Gosh, I'm more excited for this than I am for M-15! It's a great time to be a DC fan!
  6. Have an amazing birthday!

  7. Finally, the preview for M-16 has been uploaded to YouTube! And, as many of the foreign sources have mentioned before, it seems almost certain that the new will take place at a soccer stadium. Watch it below! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rh8QxqzQ38E The field marks (dark, light, dark, light, etc.) match most soccer stadiums. The bright lights featured in the preview also match up with stadium lights, and the digital "16" they featured at the end was a nice touch. I'm excited for this movie, and I'm glad this preview wasn't as ambiguous as M-15's preview.
  8. It'll be like "And Then There Were None" all over again! Except at least Christie added an epilogue to wrap everything up...
  9. Cheers, Sayomi, cheers. It's the 14th.

      Kid the Phantom Thief

Damn it, I forgot. =____='' And why did I have to be away from DCW that day??? Argh! Anyway! Congratulations!!! :D Sorry for being so late, but like they say, "better late than never". ;)

  10. Happy birthday!

  11. For two of the volumes (Volumes 25 and 61 to be exact) he used cats as detectives. Shocking, but not as shocking as when I saw that Adrian Monk was the featured detective for the most recent volume (73). I watch the show Monk regularly, which is why I guess I was surprised. It's not a very big show, but it's enjoyable.
  12. Read it and everthing went as planned. Unfortunately, Gosho is taking yet another break (making us wait for Chapter 800 even longer) but judging from the side note he'll probably continue Chiba's love case pretty soon (if not the next chapter). And Chiba is starting to realize who the mystery newbie really is, so that's something. And did anyone else notice that this was the first arc in a long time not to even mention Sera? I wonder why Gosho is cooling down on Sera's appearances right before the big 800...
  13. I have two theories on why Vodka has a codename and yet seems so lame. 1. This is another one of those literary devices and elements that Gosho has thrown in the DC franchise. My theory is that Gosho thought it was fitting to have the two original "bad guys" of DC be opposites. As we all know, in literature, opposites either attract or repel. In this case, they attract. Gin is tall, on the skinny side, has long hair, and is cunning. Vodka is a little shorter, on the fat side, has extremely short hair, and is mentally dull. Gosho probably just wanted to make it a harmless effect of "opposite bad guys". If you look carefully at many other series and movies and books with two main evil antagonists, you'll find that they usually contrast each other. 2. My other theory is that Vodka probably saved Gin's skin at one time or another. I'm betting on this scenario: The two happened to be working together on some project, and they got into a tight situation. Vodka might have either risk his life or sent one lucky bullet into someone saving Gin in the nick of time. The Organization was so grateful for still having a member like Gin alive and promoted Vodka up to his current status. Gin, equally as grateful for still being alive, continued to partner up with Vodka on future missions and became fond of the dull minded man. If anyone has anything to add, please feel free.
  14. It feels like the 14th is right around the corner.

  15. No problem, and I'm glad you had a good time!

  16. The case concluded as expected. Thanks, Wakarimashita, for the scans.
