I finished reading the book that proves (in my eyes at least) Richard Hauptmann's innocence in the Lindbergh Baby Kidnapping. The end just made me cry. It's not even a fiction book either- I can't believe they sent a man to the electric chair with such little evidence to convict him. Basically, in DC terms, we're saying that Kogoro made a stupid, idiot, unbelievable deduction as usual, everybody believed him, the police started creating evidence to convict the guy, the guy was broadcast throughout the nation as the murderer in the greatest crime of the century before anything was confirmed, witnesses were hired by the state and paid for lying, the prosecution wouldn't let the defense view the crime scene, the prosecution destroyed all evidence that would have proven him innocent, including doctoring the time sheets that would have proved his alibi, and so much more that it disgusts me and angers me to the core. THOSE STUPID POLICE KILLED A MAN WHO DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING, AND THEY WERE PROUD OF IT.
Sorry, I'm just so mad right now... Allow me to go read/watch/write something ShinRan/MitsuAi/HeiShin to cheer up.... (has been crying for the past twenty minutes. My anger seems to be somewhat linked to my tear ducts...)
