Techno and Pop music are both rather popular genres in Japan, but in America, it's quite rare to hear techno music nowdays, so I can clearly understand why many are not very familiar with techno. Well, as for me. I've been listening to J-pop, techno, salsa, and K-pop for as long as I can remember, I basically grew up listening to music that's not American, so I'm very familiar with this kind of music, and I dig the techno songs. Especially Japanese. I would have to say that around 10 was the age where I actually started to listen to J-pop more. It's great to see that you're giving a new genre of music a try! That's always a good thing! And yes, it's her 15th anniversary. Hope to see lots more of Mai in the future.

Oh, my. These are soo well made. Great job! I especially love the Kaito kid sketch! I love the detail added to kid! And the Haibara sketch from week 1 doesn't look too bad either. I'm not very great at drawing, but same here. I do the exact same thing. I draw usually everyday at home and during school, so I can improve bit by bit, until I'm satisfied with my art style and work. (Sometimes, I look at one of my drawings, and cringe, but then I remember a saying from a manga artist, "Look at your drawings, and say something positive about it, and you're sure to encourage yourself to work even harder and to draw more!")

I'm on the 500 episode arc. (560) However, I still tend to catch up with watching the newest episodes that air every week, so I can catch up. Hope to see you around on the forums!

Start in my life - Mai Kuraki

My new favorites are Opening 39- "Dynamite" by Mai Kuraki and Ending 48 "Muteki na Heart" by Mai Kuraki. I absoulutely love these two songs! I just can't seem to stop listening to them! *Breaks the replay button. xD* (I can't wait for Mai's newest "Best Album: Love & Hope" to be released. *Must listen to the full version of Dynamite* xD!) I love all the openings and endings of Detective Conan, as I stated before, of course! ^-^!

I personally thought that the opening was perfect. I did not think that the animation or song was bad at all. Mai did state a while back that since it's her 15th anniversary as a musician, she said that she's going to try as much as many different types of genres of music as she can. So techno, is the first genre she is working on. I wonder if she's going to do some Pop/Rock music next. It would be very interesting to see, even though Mai's most favorite genres in music are R&B and Pop. Anyways, It's a very awesome song! As expected, from Mai Kuraki.

Merry Chirstmas and Happy New Year And oh, what a beautiful chirstmas scene of Conan and Ran. I just had a Detective Conan Halloween desktop from one of the calendars about two days ago, now I've switched it back to the Detective Conan fall scene (November) of Conan and Ran. I have trouble on choosing which desktop backgrounds, so for next month, with all of the pretty Detective Conan Christmas desktops I've seen, it's going to be hard to decide. U^-^
