It has been so obvious that Ran will end up with Shinichi from the very first page even before Ai has appeared. For Ai's thread because Gosho hasnt decided anything for her so we can only guess.

Haibara doesnt need Shinichi or any man to make a happy ending. She is a character which can stand herself.

I love Ai and feel nothing against Ran. Ai, on the other hand, is a character of her own. Consistently intelligent and appropriately opinionated, she holds a number of philosophical beliefs that add depth to her persona. Agree with this. I only read manga and never watch anime or movies. For being a fan in ten years, Gosho's decision for adding Ai Haibara has saved the entire series. Ai's appearance has made DC got its top sales during 1998-2004, but decreased after Gosho dragging out the series. Okey, to be honest. Which one did you want to buy beside Detective Conan itself? A manga with Ai Haibara full story or Ran's?

A shipper always biased toward his/her favorite pairing. So everyone feels free to see great chemistry between their favorite couple. Chemistry didnt always tend to be a romantic one. It could be friendship or anything.

As a GinSherry fan and never GinShiho because the murder has killed all the chances for them being back together, I feel sad. AkaiShiho is very interesting, but I'm into RyuusukeHigo/Haibara now. Haibara Ai, Sherry and Shiho Miyano ( oops they are same person at all XD) I used to like Kaitou Kid as the only one my favorite male chara in DC but my love will be going to Shuichi Akai now.

Conan x Ai. They are not couple but their bantering is canonically hilarious. Conan and Ai will be a great pairing with their sarcastic remarks, endless pranks and mutual understanding. It'll be not boring as hell like now when I read manga for over ten years.

Well since it's only Ai, the main character who dont get any pairings yet, I bet Gosho saving her for himself XD He loves her so much to pair up her with any decent man

I smell something will be happening on around June-July when World Cup will be held. Gosho never did something without on purpose. Maybe Ai's crush on Higo will lead into subtle romance like an open ending (I dont like how Gosho handle romance in canon). I'm so happy seeing Ai being freely happy.

BO and Haibara.

It's interesting. It means Haibara's character development has changed tremendously. Whatever relationship she had in the past, Haibara's moral justice somehow has deeply affected because of Conan.
