im on the fence a bit i want to see it all come to a closure (BO is taken down, all couples get together especially Shinran ^-^) but i don't want it to end. Before the closure i want to see more cases with the BO and more cases that raise the stakes for our characters. most of the cases we get, the characters have no risks, there are never life and death situations (except a few and BO cases), its just 3 suspects, Conan figures out who it is then uses kogoro to share his deduction.

Finally the awaited big BO arc!!!!!!! i think were r going to get more answers than questions this year ^-^

yeah me too but there is a lot that will happen in this year, Gosho said that he has a huge BO case that's going to happen in either the spring or summer of this year ^-^ i think this year we'll get a lot more answers compared to mysteries

hmmmm ..... now that i think about it "a special series with shinichi" could probably mean a full flash back story like how we had the New York case to get more info on Shuuichi Akai and even a little bit of Vermouth i think this chapter will show how Ran and Shinichi met Sera

hope there isn't another topic like this and im too lazy to check so sorry if there is XD anyway this series is giving us more questions then answers for a bunch of things so why not make random predictions of what might happen in the future and see if we're right XD NOTE: it doesn't have to be a big plot progression it can just be a simple event that you think might happen, let's just all have fun guessing! My Predictions 1) Gosho said in an interview that Ran and Shinichi will kiss, i think Ran will initiate the first kiss XD (i don't think shinichi is brave enough but he did confess in london so maybe ill be wrong) 2) Judging by how protective Vermouth is of Shinichi and Ran (doesn't want them to get hurt) i believe she will betray the organization eventually 3) I think Bourbon is a good guy because i remember in one episode Vermouth was saying something about a promise with Bourbon and i think that promise was to keep Conan and Ran safe (or something like that, He's saved them a few times) 4) Something big will happen on Ran's birthday (this is more of me hoping then predicting XD) and i can't think of anything else right now

im actually starting to think that the second eldest brother is okiya subaru O.o i mean he is smart and can solve cases and he knows Conan very well (i think he even knows that conan is shinichi because of the "yusaku cold case" chapter) so in that one chapter where he replied to sera "if it's him you will be fine" (or something like that) it kinda fits. this could also be the case because Gosho loves to make us think one thing and then completely troll us XD (example: for the whole vermouth arc, Gosho built it up so that everyone would suspect Jodie to be vermouth but it was actually doctor Araide) not very good proof but it is a possibility unless i overlooked a detail about her brother that proves me wrong XD

i love the plot it is sooo intense so i mostly only read the chapters that progress character development and the BO or any other important characters i also really love the ShinichiXRan couple XD im a sucker for romance

well here's my speculation on the whole Shinran couple (NOTE: i am a huge shipper of Shinran but i do not look down on Coai fans so plz don't feel offended by what i say) .... i frankly don't really care if their childhood friends or not but i like how they are friends that just happened to grow up and fall in love with one another (it sounds a lot more logical), from the anime's ive seen, that rarely happens (usually the girl lays eyes on a guy and falls crazy in love) so they've been together for their whole life and then suddenly they are separated and one of them has no idea why or where the other has gone. so i don't know why people are saying it's overrated it's actually a really interesting, unfortunate love story. and for me it's not exactly the ending thats going to surprise me (we all know shinichi and ran will be together) but it's how they'll get there, what's going to happen to them, what circumstances will make them finally confess (not including the london arc XD) I also believe this love story is important to Shinichi/Conan's character. when you think about it Ran is ultimately Shinichi's motivation to getting his body back and adds emotional suspense (i know not quite the right wording but let me explain XD) if Ran wasn't there then shinichi's motivation would just be wanting to go back to being the famous highschool detective and bring down the orginization which is completely fine and still quite intriguing. but if this was his only motive, the times when he does regain his body, in my opinion, won't be as suspenseful when changing back to conan. Because Ran is in the picture, when Shinichi changes back to conan you really feel bad for him (and Ran) because you know how much he wants to tell ran his feelings and how doesn't want her to worry anymore. Conan and Haibara have a wonderful relationship and i always love their episodes because of how funny they are and serious they are too. but i don't think they should be anything more than crime fighting buddies XD but this is not to say that people still can't ship these to characters together i just hate when people say "I hate Ran Coai is soo much better because Ai is better than Ran" i don't think thats a really mature reason to ship characters together

i love all the ones that are related to the plot like the BO episodes they are soo freaking intense!!!! when questions are answered more questions rise that what makes these episodes sooo interesting XD i also love any episode that shows the shinichi and ran development and my favs would have to be: Holmes Arc (616 - 621) and New York Arc (286 - 288) i love those two characters!!!! the detective boys have some nice episodes too
