Conan is trolling enough to tell Kid straightly: "They've set some explosives, so be careful..." LOL I wonder what would Conan feel if Kid, for some reasons, actually died in the explosion ? Now THAT is anti-climatic ! By the way, now that Bourbon has suspected that the shadow he saw was Akai, I wonder if he also finds it strange that why would Akai throw that grenade, thus blew Sherry up, if they are on the same side ? Akai is not stupid to NOT know that Sherry is in the room with explosives at the time. So if I was Bourbon, this point could lead me to 2 possibilities: 1. Akai killed Sherry before she could be caught by the BO so she wouldn't spill any information to them: This is highly unlikely and mostly never happens on the "good side". 2. This whole thing is a set up. The fact that Sherry/Kid willingly closed herself in the room with bombs and refused to come out is suspicious, also right after that happened Akai threw in the grenade, just like some sort of plan. Akai (and even if it's not him) has no reason to kill Sherry if they're not from the Org. Again, whoever that person was (didn't have to be Akai) was probably not stupid enough to think that Sherry wasn't in the room with explosives (EXTRA explosives), so the possibility of them attacking Amuro and accidentally killed Sherry can be excluded. Therefore, while they made it look as if Sherry was already dead, she has in fact escaped. The parts of the train was separated would prevent Bourbon or anyone from rechecking it, this could very well be part of the plan. And now it sounds like something Akai would have done to faked his death The second one would be dangerous for Conan's side because not only that Amuro would suspect Akai's death, but he would also find Sherry's death suspicious as well. I really hope that Amuro can come up with this so it would be more interesting. Also, if they had already planned this from the beginning, Yukiko should have given Okiya/Akai an extra mask so he could disguise as some random people. Appearing as himself is dangerous for Akai and Kir; while appearing as Okiya is dangerous for the other people around him and may also blow his cover (Amuro knew Okiya's face from 800). Fortunately Amuro didn't see his face, but he has begun to suspect anyway.

Well, that's it for the promise :V I think her hatred towards Sherry is related to her parents, most likely has something to do with their (and now her) research. There may also be something else to it but I don't know. I used to have a theory about Akemi being Vermouth's daughter but the more I read it the less sense it makes, so I gave up on it.

So the BO really do have helicopters huh... It's another non-canon element that Gosho has made canon.

I wonder who called Sera during the night that Conan was kidnapped (Okiya probably got a call from Yukiko). But I'm not even sure whether she was receiving a call or making one. Also I'm smelling some kind of strategy right here. Yukiko confronting Vermouth may not entirely be for personal purpose. She's obviously buying her time here. Meanwhile Okiya (who's nowhere to be found in this file) can freely do something that we don't know of, without any obstacle.

I also think that the case resolution is not entirely complete, and will be continued in next file. The culprit hasn't confessed yet.

Originally I didn't think I will be discussing this, but now parental issues are in concern. (The bold parts are directly quoted from the mother's words). Okay first: L-M-A-O !!!! The mother is so naive. Does she really think THAT can "change" her son ? Not only that this doesn't actually "correct" her son's "problem", but the boy will only pretend to be "straight/normal/whatever..." in front of her face, but when he's alone or with others, he will still be himself and there's nothing she can do about it (not that the thing she asked him to do is possible in the first place). In other words, he doesn't need any "change" BUT still get a new Mac or whatever he wants at the same time... I always do this with my manipulative parents (even though my situation is not the same). But unfortunately, not everyone is like me, so I will have to see the situation with a general point of view. Okay so assume that the boy will choose to obey and "work with his mother" to "correct" something that's not even his fault, this kind of "solution" will only affect his psychological life, and will most likely lead to some serious mental unstableness or deep depression (<-- been there, done that ), because what she's asking her son to do is changing his nature, changing who he really is. I'm sure psychologists and experts can explain this better than me. I mean, just imagine yourself being forced to become a completely different person against your will, to give up on being yourself. Of course you cannot just follow easily, but when you have no other choice, you will be struggling doing something that's not even possible, meanwhile desperately trying to keep the "you" alive inside your soul, because you haven't fully given up yet. That alone can already cause some levels of depression. But now that she's already planted the "fact" that homosexual is a "problem", a bad thing that needs to be "corrected" inside the boy's head, his mind will always have to struggle between the following thoughts (respectively): "I am a bad kid, and I need to change immediately!"; "But that's who I am, I just cannot change that fact, no matter how hard I tried!"; "But no, that's BAD! I must change myself!"; "I just CANNOT change! ARG!!"; "No, I will NOT change! I am who I want to be!!......................... BUT THAT's BAAAAAAAD!!!!!" and so on. Just reading this makes your brain explodes, let alone going through the same experience yourself. The horrifying fact that she thinks making some "deal" with her son can truly helps her achieving what she wants. No money, Macbook or whatever can "buy" her son's "normality". Either that it would be useless as he would only pretend to obey in front of her; or that it would lead to even more mental depressions. What this "good parent" needs to understand is that sexual orientation can never be "altered" entirely (if not UNchangeable), because like I said, it's essentially changing oneself's true nature, which is impossible. And it's NOT a problem, so it NEVER need to be changed. But of course if she had already known those obvious facts then this ridiculous thing hadn't even been written in the first place. Enough of this mother. This is obviously not just one family's matter, many other parents whose children are homosexuals are the same. They all need to learn to accept the reality, and the nature of their kids. Giving them mental pressures by forcing them to change does not help. I know this is not at all easy because not only that the parents have to stand against themselves, but also against the whole society. However, that's why we need to FIGHT. IF EVEN ONE'S PARENTS CANNOT SUPPORT THEIR OWN CHILD THEN HOW WILL THAT CHILD SURVIVE IN THIS CRUEL SOCIETY ??? In fact, I've heard of many wonderful parents all over the world who have totally overcome the public's hatred and learned to accept their children, giving them the love they need and the chance, the faith for them to grow up and fulfill their dreams, becoming a successful person AS A GAY/LESBIAN. This proves that it is NOT impossible if we FIGHT !!! Anyway, more personally, I am "Asexual" (yes, really). I'm not attracted to any gender. I also don't care about love or sex in general. I once thought that this is not normal, and "forced" myself to confess to one girl that I don't even like and got rejected XDDD. I sometimes also considered the idea that I'm actually gay, but I found out that I don't like males anymore than females... However, now I don't even give a damn about it, I have better things to waste my time on. I support people of every sexual orientation when it comes to human's rights. What I don't understand is why would Vermouth be disguising as Scar Akai. I just cannot think of any suitable motive. Wouldn't it be more convenient for her if she just played the role of some random passenger ? Unless she intentionally wants to face Sera and fool her but the purpose of which is also unclear if that's the case.
