The Karaoke Box Murder Case (although the motive on the other hand is....), Cactus's Flower Murder Case (AO), Sweetheart is an Illusion of Spring (AO) were probably top of the saddest cases that I've known of. If you want something that involves the romantic relationship of the main characters, then The Desperate Revival or The Truth Behind Valentine's may be some good choices. But again, this whole thing is only my own person opinion.

In Episode 1 the anime staff replaced what was supposed to be blood with a pillar of light, doesn't look gory to me. The manga version was much bloodier.

I'm not sure since I rarely watch the anime, but I can give you some recommendations: The Mountain Villa Bandaged Man Murder Case is probably the most famous case for decapitation. The culprit chopped off other parts of her body too. The Art Museum Owner Murder Case looks kind of bloody, and they didn't censor it. I remember the Alpine Hut in the Snowy Mountain Murder Case has a very painful death. Recently there was this guy that got shot through his mouth, too bad the anime staff censored it so it didn't look that bloody: Detectives' Nocturne

I've checked the Raw files of both cases. The mayor's last name is 日原 while the maid's last name is written 桧原, so they're not the same.

Sounds like a pocket-picker to me, the kind who usually ask random people random questions and then take advantage of when the victim is not paying attention to steal things. Also the act of shaking your hand is suspicious, it might have been to make sure that your hand wasn't put inside the pocket, which made the stealing even easier. He himself or his partner (if there was one) behind you could very well have taken whatever was inside your pocket while he was "shaking your hand". Are you sure you didn't lose anything after the "talk" with him ?

Ah... no. The purpose of that scene is to show that one of them is Bourbon (it's clearer in the manga version), so only one of the three answers Vermouth's call. It's still a mystery who called the other two, and the fact they all received phone calls at approximately the same time is mere coincidence. There's a possibility that one (or both) of them bugged Amuro's phone but I don't think that's likely.

About the spelling thing, I don't think that he/she is from an English speaking country so I guess that he/she will publish it in his/her language, so English doesn't matter much However, what makes me concerned here is WHY WOULD YOU REVEAL YOUR PLOT TO STRANGERS ??? Anyone who read this thread can very well copy your idea and makes it their own. They may even write it better than you and make money with it. THAT IS THE MOST DANGEROUS THING FOR A WRITER !!! About your question, what I understand is that you need the title for the case/novel with the dog ? Well, since I haven't actually read it yet so I'm also not sure what is best to name (but again DON'T POST IT!), but maybe I can give you some advice... 1. Don't name anything that would spoil your tricks to the readers. That is the most important. Therefore title with "digest" is a no-go. You can hint the readers by making them focus on the dog, but be careful when doing that. 2. For mystery novels, it's better to name it something that would draw the readers' attention and make them want to explore the plot. I personally recommend using mysterious or abstract titles, instead of direct ones ("Murder at some place...", "Murder with something...", "something murder case") that can easily get boring, and it shouldn't be too far from the plot. Of course unless those some place or something can attract readers (e.g haunted mansion) but in this case they seem not. Lastly, like everyone else has said, I wouldn't rush with the publishing if I were you. However, I hope that you know what you're doing and wish you for your success in your career !
