The context is that I'm having a debate with an IP related the the Boss of the Black Organization article, and I need to be sure I have my facts straight first. Argument that the boss's number is an email address (copied from talk page). Argument that the number is a phone number The best evidence about how the address is actually being used suggests that it is a phone number that is being used for texting. You can't dial an email with a 9 digit keypad to make the nanatsu no ko sound (no .s or @s). Nor do I think it is a coincidence that the length of the number is the exact length of a Japanese phone number (9 digits for a geographic number), and has no @s. Promotional offers in Japan related to Conan (I recall one for M13) had people dial the boss's phone number to hear a pre-recorded message - which suggests that it is a phone number not an email. Also keep in mind the cellphone arc took place way back in 2003/2004, which was pretty early in the smartphone tech cycle. Other mangas (forget which ones) use the convention # to replace phone numbers to make them unworkable. # is used because the pound sign is on a phone. I will add to my side at least as I think of new stuff and keep the other party's arguments updated.

THIS THREAD is used to discuss about SPOILERS. In other words, if you only read the English version and wish to wait for the full release instead of getting spoiled, this is NOT the right place for you! RULES OF THE SPOILER-ONLY DISCUSSION THREAD: 1. Any kind of spoiler involving the case (pictures, texts, information, full scans...) of any language that is released before the English version must be posted HERE. The English translations of the spoilers must also be posted here. 2. Any kind of discussion involving the spoilers must be posted HERE. 3. Despite being a spoiler-only thread, EVERY spoiler and discussion involving events that have not happened in the English releases STILL has to be put inside Spoiler boxes. When the file in question is fully released in English, this is not necessary anymore. 4. NO DIRECT LINK to any Japanese scans (RAWs) or English scans (Japanese spoiler pictures are allowed as long as the amount and quality of which are very far away from a full scan, like the ones we usually have). HOW TO USE A SPOILER BOX? Just simply type the following: [spoiler]Text you want to write[/spoiler] Or more manually: Step 1: Click the "Special BBCode" icon at the upper-left side of the edit toolbar. Step 2: In BBCode, select "Spoiler". Step 3: Enter the text that you want to put inside Spoiler boxes, then click OK. Finally! The Nagano case that Gosho has promised since who-knows-when is finally here! no, my friend you're not the only one, ehehe.. I don't think there's anything wrong with the childhood friend cliche. It's one of those devices that help develop the relationship between some people. I could go on and on about it, but that's not going to be the purpose of my post. Anything, no matter how well made it is, will become stale after repeating itself in abundance. The point of the childhood friend romance is to give a pair of characters a past to develop their relationship on; it's something that should be exclusive to a select few within a series. However, it has gotten much too repetitive within DC. Shinichi x Ran Heiji x Kazuha Kaito x Aoko Kogoro x Eri Shiratori x Kobayashi Chiba x Naeko (probably a few others I missed) ...and suddenly, the childhood friend cliche becomes the main source of a developing relationship within DC. It's old now and I'm pretty tired of seeing it at this point. Shinichi x Ran is buried under a pile of these other relationships, which I feel is being counterintuitive. Childhood friendships have kinda lost their "magic" at this point. Gosho would have been better off stopping after Kaito x Aoko because right now, he's giving me the impression that his only tactic for making relationships is through the childhood friend cliche. Seriously, where did Chiba x Naeko even come from?

"For beautiful eyes, try to see the best in people, to have beautiful lips, just say kind words, and for balance, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone" " We did not come all on the same ship, but we're all in the same boat" "If you can not change your fate, change your attitude" "Do not choose the person who is beautiful to the world, but one that makes beautiful Your World"

Agree about chiba and naeko part, and about the repetitive childhood love part. It just shows the different kinds of relationships childhood friends have... I've never thought any relationship in DC has been badly excecuted,..though I do agree that some can develop even further if more focus was put into them,...but I don't agree about the "no-emotion-for-non-childhood-love" statement. Btw,... am I the only one who's REALLY hoping for a shihoxrei ending?

I like childhood friend pairings, even too much (I just don't feel any emotions if 2 people in love don't have childhood memories to share together, no matter how well the non-childhood pairing is done), and I think it's sad that the Chiba x Naeko pairing is hated so much. They are nothing special, but aren't bad or stupid.

Just thing that came in my mind. I was talking about smses with my father. And said that sms is quite Finnish thing.(false, but first GSM call was phoned in Finland. First sms was in GB). But he said that old NMT couldn't be used to send smses. And they used Pager. So what if they use pagers to inform their boss. I know nationwide use needs lots of base stations but Black Org. is big and they could do it. So this is just what came in my mind

Like everyone else here, I'll be sharing some of my art of Detective Conan. Most of my drawings of Conan are usually just copies for my personal collection. These are usually just for practice. They aren't traced though. First up, we have a simple drawing of Conan Edogawa. I'm actually quite proud of how this one came out, since I usually tend to draw a bit small, or off place. This second one came out a little... off place. It's okay, though. And here are my original free hand drawings of Conan. They're nothing much, really, but I'm glad I was satisfied with them. Try to ignore the backwards hand on this one. This is an old scan and I didn't bother to scan it again for one error, even though I fixed it. And just for kicks, I decided to make this, since it randomly came to mind. If there's any problems, or tips, then feel free to post them here. *This is pretty much my frist time using links and such on this site, so I'm kinda new to adding tags and hiding pictures.*

Thank you. Aww! Don't say that. If you keep practicing, you'll be surely be able to draw just as good.
