Situation
Professor Agasa and the Detective Boys are getting lost after a camping trip. A young man named Tadao Umesaki picks them up and takes them to Kubo Inn. Here, they are introduced to Sayuki Kubo, the young owner of Kubo Inn, Ryouzou Kadokura, the cook, and two mysterious men, Kimura and Tanaka. Later, Tadao tells them about the secret treasure of Takeda Shingen, as well as the disappearance of Sayuki's father, Yasuharu Kubo.
The day after, Conan, Mitsuhiko, Genta, Tadao and Sayuki discover a secret room beneath a small temple while taking a walk around the village. Inside the room, they find the corpse of Yasuharu.
