It started at night namely Arisa Nakashima and Susan Trummelperman are supposed to go home when they screamed when the alien go out. The alien said "We are extraterrestrials." And he say that the two would take a photo of an alien to commemorate and release it to public. And the girls where happy when they take a picture of him.
After taking a photo of the alien, someone scream "It's an alien, help!!!!" After he fell down to the stairs and then dead. The two girls witness from the scene of the falling man.
After, the next morning, the Detective Boys investigated the scene. And they name it good-for-nothing adult. (What did they mean is the alien.) The boy namely Kota Matsumoto said that it was his fault. Conan asks him why it is his fault, and he answer that Takedera plays with them on his day-off only at the children's center. And he say to the alien. "Aliens come to Earth not to invade our planet, but to make friends with us." The boy said that there is no such thing as aliens. And Kota said that they exist. His dead dad told him so.
The alien namely Hitoshi Takedera" was hoping to find a witness so word would spread. They say that he was a kind, nice man, but the ultimately caused an accident, and he probably regret that in his life.
Conan asks the two girls are happened to be there, and they witness his falling last night.
After that they are starting to investigate if that was accident or murder so they question who knows the victim freely. Well, neither of them are unemployed. And that man is Tsuneyuki Tamai. Last 6 months, Yazuo Hanzaki was laid off at his job were he worked at. Tamai said that he was blackmailing someone, and went out last night to get money from them. Conan asks who are blackmailing them, and he don't know, and he never locked his front door, and inside is not worth stealing.
After they question Takedera, Conan was wondering where he got the idea to become an alien, and he said that was Omi Akira. He said that he was a nice, kind friend. The Detective Boys are investigating about Omi Akira. Conan save Tamai but who is the culprit?
