Kogoro and Conan pass by a lonely shopping street. They try to shop at a greengrocer that catches their eyes, but the owner, Yoshinobu Yamazaki, seems to be in a bad mood. Madam Gaga, a producer who revitalizes the exhausted shopping district, and her assistant, Rabbit Suzuki, came there. Madam calls out holding a professional wrestling tournament to liven up the shopping district, using as icon the female wrestler and Gaga's daughter Cutie Mimi. The shopkeepers of the shopping district train their bodies through various trainings, and Kogoro will also participate as a referee. Ran, with the provocation of Cutie Mimi, also decides to fight her and prepares.
Suddenly, after seeing some suspicious actions from the GGP, he has a bad feeling, and decides to call Haibara to investigate for him, and finds something that makes both Conan and Haibara think that behind this event there is a case.
The day of the event arrives, and the first opponent of the protagonist of the event, Cutie Mimi, is the greengrocer Yoshinobu Yamazaki. C The match starts, but after losing the courage, Yamazaki's friends and shop owners Hajime Fujinami and Ichiro Tenryuu jump to the match to help him, but fail even using "dangerous weapons" like a bottle opener or fresh honwasabi, that finally hurt Kogoro. Conan finally decides to sleep Kogoro and starts his deduction. Conan finally confronts Madam Gaga and says that the GGP has lost this match. It turns out that the GGP (Madam Gaga, Cutie Mimi and Rabbit Suzuki) use their events as a "scapegoat" to steal jewelry from different jewelries. By using elemenets as a generator, a manhole and a cord, they are able to rob jewelry stores that have storehouses in an underground passageway. It is also revealed that in the meantime the event was held, Rabbit Suzuki was entering to the subterrain storehouse, but only to find police officers that arrest him. They are arrested for property damage and attempted rob, but probably this isn't the first rob they do.
