Conan and the Detective Boys meet spider researchers (Redback spider). One of them gets a call, and they rush to the facility on to find their professor fallen to a deadly poisonous spider. Conan discovers that the spider was already dead before the professor came into contact with it, and there's a needle on the ear piece, pointing to murder.
