On a sunny day of summer, in a house near a bridge that is revealed to be Yoshi Koda's house, a mysterious robber is ransacking Koda's house in search of money.

At the beginning, we see Shinya turning around Yoshi's stuff trying to find money after having knocked her out. Since he found nothing, he was going to leave until Yoshi woke up again and was then knocked out a second time. Panicked, Shinya runs out of the house and leaves with the only valuable he had found: A Space Museum Souvenir Coin.

After running past the bridge, Shinya happens to be in a residential district where by accident, he runs into Genta and pushes him out of the way but as he was turning the corner, he ran into a man and fell inconscious with the man after falling from a hill. After Yoshi regained consciousness, she calls the police who then deploy Takagi and Chiba to find a man that was wearing a red jacket and jeans. Genta and the Detective Boys, who were nearby, saw Takagi and asked him what happened. Takagi explains them roughly what happened and Genta immediately remembers who the man was.
