Trivia
- The outfit of Detective Boys in the episode is based on Gosho Aoyama's illustration for the collaboration with charity program 24 Hour Television: Love Saves The Earth, which is aired on the same day.
- The illustration was used as end card on the TV broadcast version of this episode and When the Shishi-odoshi Sounds (around the time the illustration was revealed). Ayumi and Haibara's dialogues are later adapted into this episode's end card, with the addition of Conan's.
