I remember my first piece of writing that got me started...wasn't great, but pretty good for my age.

The thing is... it wasn't actually my first piece. Though, it was my first published poem. I was like 10 or 11 when I wrote it... it was THAT long ago. I don't even know if I still have it. *sigh*
