Kid the Phantom Thief Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Without trust, you get nowhere though. Trust is the fundamentals in any relationship. It's like the mortar between the bricks -- without it, the entire house falls. I can't just go around trusting people. They gotta do something to earn my trust.

They gotta do something to earn my trust. Sometimes trust is an investment. You have to take a risk, trust someone, and hope they'll return the favor and the relationship will ripen to friendship.
IdentityUnknown Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 I can't just go around trusting people. They gotta do something to earn my trust. Judging by your life, I wouldn't be surprised. But sometimes you have to go out on a limb. There will never be any situation where you have enough proof to 100%, without a doubt trust a person unless you've known them for a long time (and even then, there's always a chance that they've changed). This is a quote that I found yesterday: “To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.”
IdentityUnknown Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 ^ I hear the Incas didn't use mortar but got along just fine. :V Oh, shut up. *glomps* O.O YOU'VE BEEN TAKEN OVER BY KLEENE!!! And hi Misaki-chan.
tengaku squared Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Oh, shut up. I know a bit about ancient history. I prefer it to modern history. O.O YOU'VE BEEN TAKEN OVER BY KLEENE!!! DDDDDDDDDDD:

This is a quote that I found yesterday: I understand... '' Anyway, now I'll really have to go....... Bye!
IdentityUnknown Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 I know a bit about ancient history. I prefer it to modern history. I find 'modern history' hilarious. It makes no sense. “It's a strange world of language in which skating on thin ice can get you into hot water.” Ok, fine, it does, but I still find the phrasing hilarious. :V DDDDDDDDDDD: Point proven.
tengaku squared Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 I find 'modern history' hilarious. It makes no sense. It's corrupt, and falling apart at the seams. Censorship, wars, disasters, and riots everywhere. This world has failed the One Above.
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Hello everyone! ^^ Hi Misaki chan!!!! XD XD XD
Kid the Phantom Thief Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Heh, we Humans will be our own doom.
IdentityUnknown Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 It's corrupt, and falling apart at the seams. Censorship, wars, disasters, and riots everywhere. This world has failed the One Above. True. Everything nowadays is fading fast. Not to mention, the States has been established for around 300 years now. Most civilizations only last around 300 years...
tengaku squared Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Heh, we Humans will be our own doom. ^ True. Everything nowadays is fading fast. Not to mention, the States has reached it's 300th birthday. Most civilizations only last around 300 years... The US is collapsing. It began when trusts began to form, and it never stopped from there.
IdentityUnknown Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Heh, we Humans will be our own doom. Agreed. The US is collapsing. It began when trusts began to form, and it never stopped from there. *sighs* Civilizations...it starts when people start pulling away from the original thought "for the country" to "for ourselves". ...Wait, why are we talking about this?
Kid the Phantom Thief Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Man, I don't wanna leave, but I HAVE to!!! TT_TT
tengaku squared Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Man, I don't wanna leave, but I HAVE to!!! TT_TT Conflicting emotions FTW!
IdentityUnknown Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Man, I don't wanna leave, but I HAVE to!!! TT_TT Parents?
Kid the Phantom Thief Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 then stay But if my parents see me on................................ =/ Conflicting emotions FTW! Anyway, I love this quote, yet I hate it (cuz it's true): I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. @Jean: Yep.
IdentityUnknown Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. I've seen that quote around.
Kid the Phantom Thief Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 I've seen that quote around. It's Einstein's. I use it a lot.
