It's a nation-wide competition for students. You choose a few events to compete in, and... That's pretty much all I know. Ask Kenzi. Even our school sponsor is a bit confused >.<

Ah, the Math Olympiads... They're really fun :D

So what did you choose?

Our Olympiads here are really limited. It gets boring -_-

Could it be because you're too good? xD

Ours are monthly, and 5 questions must be answered in about 25 minutes, give or take.

So what did you choose?

Can't remember. Solar System, Crime Investigator (wonder why...), and something else.

And then? How is the competition gotta go? I mean Q&A? Explanations?

Meh... If only I knew...

I think it mostly depends on the event. Some (like the one Kenzi did) involve you making something beforehand and presenting it, while others quiz you on the topic.

And you still don't know what is yours? O_O So when's this event?

Hai!

Meteorology must be my worst scientific field. Barely passed it every time our class has a test >.<

Is this one of your events?

I remember taking meteorology in my first year of SciO. I personally didn't think the test was that difficult because I had some really thorough notes for it. The thing that tripped me up during the test were the weird graphs they incorporated. However, this was a while ago, so these details are only from the top of my head. I think you'll be okay.

Oh. Meteorology? The weather and stuffs? What's the difficult thing in there?

I don't know. I guess it's just one of those things that you just can't get because you don't see the point O.o

Explain to me how the events will go, senpai. So it'll be tests?

It depends on your event. Generally for study events, they'll give you a paper test.

You're also allowed to bring a double-sided note sheet for most events, which tend to help a lot. Other events may allow you to bring an entire binder (like for rocks and minerals). Go check the details of your event if you're not sure--most of them should be online.

I checked some sites already, but they weren't very good. Suggestions?

*searches for science news*

This looks promising... I really see the whole cyberspace becoming like this someday

It's interesting and reminds you to see the 'big picture', but they would need to work a lot on creating a good UI. I have an app on my iPad that lets you go on a 3D tour of the galaxy, and it's cool, but I can't imagine having to use those kind of things to research/find information.

Yeah finding things would be slow as hell. :P

I really wonder what the future of the technology would be...

There's really no point in guessing. I mean, people back then were amazed by the idea of a watch that can do everything, and now that we have it, the sales aren't doing great. I'ma live to 100, take a time machine, and tell you, okay? :P

Haha I know. I really just hope that technology won't be the downfall of humanity... I mean people are getting lazier nowadays.

Yay! :P Anyway, why it's always you that will go tell things to me? :P No fair. I'm gonna tell you bout my adventure too xD

Lazy? *hopes it's not me*

Nah. I'm younger than you, so you'll die first.
