I get your point, and I agree with you. When DCW is actually so powerful that nearly everything from here shows up, it isn't really surprising if a sub forum shows up (or say... It is Kinda expected). And speculations are, it may cause trouble because it may attract more people (sometimes unwanted) or expand the forum in the wrong direction. Then when it does, it may cause some trouble (E.g too many threads etc.) Wherever there's people, trouble will find its way, whether it is a role play forum or games forum or chat forum...etc, Only that you 'foresee' that RPs will create more problems than necessary, which could or may not happen at all. So do you mean that if the role playing grows, it will create trouble, so we should not look forward for it to grow or expand at all and we should bring as little attention to it as possible? If so, then it's really unfortunate and I'll resign to fate and grab myself a corner to be depressed. Also, DCW is... essentially... a role play. Unless you don't think it is? Now let's see of we aren't creative and rename them to "DCW Roleplay scene 1" and post it in chat room. It's gonna show up on google and people will notice it and join. It's going to be the same. Could it be that you're fine with DCW irl because it's name happen to not contain the word 'roleplay'? (btw that is only an example and I don't think anyone will want its name to be changed.) Now if the sub-forum is called DCW irl, or some other name it would be alright? And sorry for being overly sensitive over the matter. I can take insults or criticism myself but I have a problem with thinking properly when something or someone I value gets put down. It's not your problem, I think its mine. And about the discussion thing not affecting... Actually it does >__< it creates some sort of psychological stress when something has been discussed over and over again and in time the brain will sort of reject the thought of it >__< Also, it may actually bring up unexpected discussions and trigger some negative ideas and thus indirectly affecting it. :/ And lastly, I don't actually want you to hate me, and I don't intend to offend anyone. =X

Thank you very much for the screen cap kyuu. I searched and saw it myself before I posted my ... post. Apparently, you are trying to put words into my mouth. I didn't say this discussion wouldn't show up. I said DCW IRL wouldn't show up. My entire point there is to direct you(or whoever else) to this gigantic link above your tiny link(see the screen cap). Which is the "What shows up". That huge link apparently links to our external DC role playing site, which doesn't have much traffic now. Whether or not this discussion shows up isn't really all that important anyway, except that when it does, it MAY get some traffic. Also, there are so many other RP sites showing up on first page as well. Wanna help me to check if they're flooded? :/ Like I said, even though I am for the creation of the subforum, I understand that with the current number of threads we have, it is definitely unnecessary now. But I can live with it whether or not it is approved. Just that, I would have liked it if you would use uneccessary instead of "silly" or other words and try to put the idea down. (okay this isn't really about the idea now but more to what I value). Right, I may have sounded silly to you to have supported the idea, and may also still continue to support it whether or not you hate me, but there are so few of things which I feel strongly for and I will be stubborn with it. I just hope this discussion don't actually affect the actual DCW irl if not I'll be real sad. Guess I'll stop here. Oh btw I just wanna comment something about CC's post >__< (forgive me... I am feeling a little down and I feel like talking... :V) Wiki is important. It is for the knowledge of the community. But the forums are important too... It's a DCW community. It's like family. Its like my house. I don't really feel sad when the wiki goes down (e.g into maintenance...), but I do feel sad when the forums goes down. That's the difference.

I see. I think you meant an archive. Moho mentioned that in his thread. We have something like this already, and indeed each previous thread is easier to find this way (If you meant that we are looking for a particular thread.). Maybe I was a little ambiguous when I casually mentioned something about ease in finding threads. What I really wanted to explain in that point is, that we just wanted something simple, and not a very complexed or powerfully equipped kind of role-play sub-forum. Besides that, this isn't really the point of us wanting to creating a sub-forum. The actual point is probably to make it much more noticeable, also a more organized chat room (and probably a little more additional happy people :V). As for the Role playing expansion problem...... hmm... I thought that letting it grow was one of the original intention...? =| By the way if you type role play detective conan in google, DCW IRL doesn't actually show up. What shows up is, another wonderful thread by Chelsea for an external Role playing forum, which regrettably, isn't visited much any more, despite being the very first result on the list. A separate forum solely for DC Role play isn't easily going to survive unless there is already a huge pool of members. This was tried twice(or more?). And twice failed. I guess people don't actually search for Detective conan role playing. :V There are a few more sites on the results page, but all of them are either dead or...... It is actually pretty amazing that DCW IRL actually managed to survive for so long despite only having one game at a time with only 8 players. As of now, honestly, I believe the chat room has the highest activity in DCW nowadays and (i believe) DCW IRL is one of the contributors. It is pretty much supported by a few of the regulars now, but it would be nice if it can be given a chance to grow.

But it wasn't a matter of choice. "Im going to the fourth district." she replied. "For? Don't tell me you're going back there to rejoin the armed forces! I know you are related to them! Really. Your points are all valid, and im not trying to disagree or try and oppose what you're saying or make you agree with me. Yet I still can't understand the same thing which I'm trying to ... understand - the difference. Maybe my command of the language isn't really enough for me to bring out the idea so let me give an example. You mentioned a sub-forum would require general rules. True. There's basically nothing in the forum that does not follow rules. The chat room has rules as well and the current RP is supposed to keep to the rules while it is in the chatroom. And i believe it is (still) doing fine. Now if we move it to another SUB-forum, which is STILL In chatroom, will there be a need to change the rules? if yes, why? IMO, the thread is still the same, topic, function doesn't change, the way things are done doesn't change. Does it mean that if it stays in the chat room it doesn't need to be managed but it will have to be managed in the sub-forum? Or if people quarrel and fight in the chatroom, it can be ignored? Does it mean that if the RP in chatroom doesn't need to be Archived if it happened to Grow but in the RP sub-forum it has to? What is the difference? Of course you mentioned the needs of a role play forum are different. Now, this is a sub-forum we're talking about and my understanding is that it isn't actually a full fledged RP forum, but instead, something like a 'category' or 'filter' for a more 'logic' grouping. People don't actually come to DCW for RP and those who only seeks RP will find other role play sites (E.g rpnation). So, by 'needs' of a rp forum, do you mean the player's requirement or the mod's requirement? Like I said, I don't think the players here really require a fully equipped role play forum and i don't think the proposer is asking for that at all. Also, don't think we currently need any archiving or constant move of threads. If a forum is (ever) created, everything's there! Where do we move it? To the archive? What for? We'd probably only need to pin the active threads. Is it for organization purposes? Even without that I believe it will still be much much more organized than our chat room right now. Maybe you're thinking things too big. We're not trying to make DCW into a rp site. But after reading your post I did understand more as to what you're trying to get at. Let's sum up the one major point I think you're trying to say and see if I understood it correctly. You are afraid that a new sub-forum would trigger a huge thread Growth for role play which would make it troublesome for the future and might likely cause some unforeseen problems. Okay I read it again and I see the point. I guess the way we viewed it was different. Apparently forum specific for role playing and the promoting of roleplaying is the problem. True, to a certain extent, but I feel those reasons are more applicable for sites which do not already have any role playing and are debating whether or not to create one. We already have a form of role playing going on right now under chatroom with no designated moderator (unless you mean chatroom mod) and we are still doing fine. With a new sub-forum, does it mean that there MUST be another mod for it? We had a sub-forum in "Games" too. Its called forum games. Is there another mod for it too? My point of view is that, there could be a sub forum created, just to make it more organized and we can use it for role plays as well. It will use the rules from the chatroom instead of having its own very special set of rules. If anyone wants to create a role play, they shall manage it themselves just as we have done it currently. Mods might feel obliged to create a perfectly equipped sub-forum, but I think all we really want is just the ease of finding the threads. The newbies may be interested to know that there is such a thing here. It gives us a place to create one so that we dont create it all over the Place. (We do have something like this in games forum too.) That's all. No need for too much complications. No one will come to DCW specifically for a role play and truthfully its totally unnecessary, but you know... the DCW family may like to have one.

Don't... Erm really get what you mean. Maybe I don't know since I've never been mod of a forum before, but I don't really get what is the too much extra work to be done after a sub forum is created. It is STILL under the chatroom, same number of threads, just one more level deeper. I can understand all the work required to create that sub-forum (creation requires work, moving requires work.), but essentially, after the creation, it's still under chatroom and the number of threads to be managed is still the same. (unless going down one more level is actually more work for the mods @_@ ) My understanding is, the proposer is suggesting a sub-forum such that it would be more organized, which I feel it would. About the extra managing work... Maybe you'd like to explain.I don't, however, deny that it is really a lot of work to actually create that sub-forum. I think its nice to have, but not at all necessary.

Your wounds are not heale- Oh no!!! It's open again! Sleep down right away I'll find a doctor.. I'll get... DOCTOR!!!" Vivi watched as the frantic girl zoomed around yelling for the doctor. Vivi tried to remember what had happened. When she was shot, she assumed that she was going to die, being alive was a surprise. She looked down at her heavily bandaged body then scanned the room. It looks like an infirmary. She must have been saved by someone. Her wounds started to hurt a lot and she had no choice but to lie down. "Here!!!" the girl from before led a few people in white into the room. They quickly gathered around her and started unbandaging her. "NO!" Vivi cried in reluctance and pushed their hands away. She has always been overly sensitive against touch. More so for guys. The doctors were shocked by her reaction and attempted to get close to Vivi again. "No!!!" Vivi swept them away again. The doctors were at a loss for what to do with Vivi. Seeing this, the girl then commented. "You need to get yourself healed. Why are you doing thi-?" "Go-go away! Do-don't touch me! Aur-ggh..." Vivi winced in pain as she continued curled up in her bed. "Don't..." The girl sighed and turned to the doctors. "Wait for me outside will you? I'll talk to her." the doctors nodded and left the room. "You can relax now. They're outside. They won't get near you." the girl tried to comfort Vivi, who is still curled up. "..." "What's your name?" the girl asked. "..." Was the reply. The girl decided to keep asking anyway. "Your age?" "......" "Where do you stay?" "......" "How did you get injured?" "......" "Do you have any family?" Vivi raised an eyebrow. The girl noticed Vivi's change in expression and decided to continue asking. "You have a mother? ... A father?" No response. The girl started to look a little worried. "... A sister...?" "...Brother." Vivi replied. "I see!" the girl looked a little relieved. "Where is he now?" "..." Vivi went back to silence again, but the girl realized that her brother was important to her. "I'm sure he's still waiting for you to return..." the girl smiled. Vivi continued to be silent. Suddenly, several shouts were heard from the corridors outside the room. The atmosphere changed and many people started rushing around. Curious, the girl grabbed a person running by. "What's going on!?" "Huh!? We got news from a civilian that the armed forces appeared at the fourth district near the church and even attacked a kid! We're headin over now!" Vivi froze. Fourth district. That's the place of their home. "No..." Vivi immediately sprang out of bed despite her injuries and dashed out of the room. "Wait.. Hey wait!!!" the girl yelled and chased after her.

(Could he be referring to VIVI and Sparrow?) EDITED: (A little history added) 'No... No...! How...how could you...urgh!' Vivi's voice was trembling and filled with fear as she clutched her abdomen in pain. It appears that someone had shot her. "Heh. Sorry girl, we have no choice but to do this. But don't worry, you won't die immediately..." The guy shrugged with a smile. "Actually, you should be honoured you can even act as a decoy before you die. Well, enjoy your last moments darling~!" And with that he and the rest of the team sped off. "Wait-urgh!" Vivi struggled to remain standing. She could already hear the footsteps of the enemies approaching. 'Shi...' Vivi limped towards the exit. 'There they are! Stop them!' Vivi heard someone shout behind her before an stream of bullets came her way. She felt a few hitting her before she collapsed. 'No... Rei-Rei...' 'Hey look its just a kid! Moukou! Brent! What do we do?!' 'Kid? Lemme see?' A voice said. 'Hmm... Look at the logo of her shirt. She's a part of the Armed Forces.' 'A kid!? In the Armed Forces!?' This lead to a lot of chit chattering. Suddenly, Vivi felt something cold touch her face. 'Rei...' she continued chanting. It was her brother's name. 'Who's Rei?' The voice asked. 'R-rrei-i...' whispered Vivi weakly. 'Get her some treatment...' The voice said. That was the last statement she heard before finally losing consciousness. Vivi's vision stirred as she opened her eyes. She was on the infirmary bed. Deja vu? She glanced around and saw that Sparrow was on the bed beside her. She tried to remember what had happened before she was brought there. 'Ah.' She remembered fainting when she reached the headquarters. She inspected herself and found that she was heavily bandaged up. She didn't know that it was so serious. She figured it was because the doctors didn't want her to move around too much so they purposely made it such that it restricted her movement. She struggled a little and sat up. She put her hands in her hood and pulled out the little bird. "Vi-i vi..." It stuttered. Vivi looked solemn. She didn't want to remember the incident from that time. It totally wasn't pleasant. A rush of anger came to her and she punched her fist into the bed as hard as she can. "OW!" She yelled in pain from the impact. "Vivi!" Sparrow realized she was awake. "Are you alright!?" --------------

After a while, Sparrow regained consciousness. Wincing, she mumbled, "'Ey, ya alright, Vi?" Vivi raised an eyebrow. She was pretty amused with her question. "Not very. But lively compared to you." Sparrow let out something like a laugh before she went back to her slumber state. A few moments later, 5 minutes to be exact, they arrived at the headquarters, and finally the emergency power cannot hold it any longer. Vivi was also at her limits. The moment she and Sparrow entered the headquarters, everyone rushed forward to support them. After making sure Sparrow was taken care of, Vivi collapsed to the ground in exhaustion (and possibly bloodloss).

There were more enemies than allies in the zone but they were careful not to accidentally shoot each other and get shot themselves so there is no clear advantage. Vivi had been careless for the first round. But now, she's learnt the battle tactics of the enemy and she's careful not to fall in it or to caught off guard again. Vivi easily dodged a shot from the front and as expected, an array of bullets came from her blind spot. She barely avoided the bullets and turned a corner and gave a kick to the idiots standing around trying to shoot Sparrow. She then spotted another guy trying to shoot her from her blind spot. "Spa-!" But before she could warn her, she was shot. "Keh!" Vivi jumped over and kicked him in the face and the guy immediately lost consciousness. She hurried over to the wounded girl and tried to fend off some incoming enemies. Suddenly, a mysterious guy appeared from out of no where and commanded for them to stop. Immediately, all fighting ceased. Vivi furrowed an eyebrow. She was shocked by the guy's authority. She was pretty sure grey field wouldn't submit so easily to anyone. Who is this guy that just appeared? The guy spoke to greyfield and immediately after that, greyfield became weird. He then turned to Vivi and spoke. "Please don't die. You are far too interesting too die." he paused. "Your friend, Sakila, I believe? Anyways, she should now be in the hands of the 8th Battalion, where she belongs. So, please, cease this fighting for now. The 8th Battalion and the Nubinelle Rebellion are holding a joint meeting, and your friend needs immediate medical care. Go." 'Sakila...' Vivi was relieved she was alright, but she felt frustrated and humiliated to be at the enemy's mercy, and to not being able to anything to them when the leader of the armed forces was right infront of them. She would risk her own safety if it was her alone but she she can't risk Sparrow's life for her own agendas. She had just realized she was too naive and too reckless. It was no wonder Jackson wanted to delay her from joining the fights. For now, she figured she should retreat. With her uninjured arm, she lifted Sparrow and with the other, she flipped the switch on her shoes to emergency power and with a burst of power, they zoomed out of the area.

"Yea." Vivi replied getting herself ready for another intense battle. She hopes her body can last until she finds Sakila. "I can finally see the legendary Sparrow in action." Vivi smirked and threw a glance at her. "But I'm not going to lose to you!" With that, she zoomed into the battle zone. "Let's let loose!"

"You mean this?" she pulled out her bird. It was stationary like a piece of scrap metal. "Yea. It's out of battery. It will auto regenerate it's battery through movement. And if my ability is back I can bring it back no prob." She kept the bird back into her hood and continue running. Within the distance a gun fired. They were there.

"I'm ending myself." ------ "How do you know what is love when you never experienced it before?"

"It tells me to learn how to fly." ----- "Justice is to do what is right."
