Vivi let out a soft but cold laugh. "I don't care what choices you made. You can kill Mokou or anyone else for all you like... You can betray me and the battalion for whatever reasons I don't care. You have your agendas I have mine." Vivi pulled out something long which looks like a weapon from her jacket. "You pay for your own decisions after all. You can decide to kill the IS, or kill yourself whatever. I will do anything for my own agendas, even sell my soul to the devil. So I can understand what you went through. I'm sure you were prepared for this." "Vivi! Nows not the time for this! We need to stop the missiles." Vivi ignored her companion's advice. "Vivi... Your brother's in the rebellion headquarters right....?" Vivi raised an eyebrow. "If you don't stop the AF your brother may be in trouble..." Vivi frowned and withdrew her weapon. She turned back at the other two and replied, "Lets go."

There was a lot of chit chatter going on around Vivi. She was stumped beyond control and the moment the words came out from Sakila she turned into a lifeless corpse. 'What is that girl saying? She's the killer of Mokou? The killer for Misaki's friend? The one who nearly killed Rei and made him a cripple? What's going on?' Vivi allowed the rain to splatter on her face. A commotion broke out. Seems like a fight, but Vivi was too stunned to pay any attention. From the corner of her eye, she saw Misaki grabbing Sakila. Her eyes was filled with anger and a speck of hatred. She seems to have the intent on killing Sakila. However, Vivi made no move to stop Misaki. She wasn't even thinking whether or not to save Sakila or stop Misaki from killing her. The only thing in her mind now, are the words Sakila had just said. 'She caused all of this. She caused all of these terrible things. She was the main reason Rei ended up like this...' Vivi's breathing grew heavier. 'What does this mean? What!? She's the one responsible? Is she really the one responsible!? Is she the real enemy!?!?' Vivi turned to stare at Sakila who just turned and giggled a little at someone who just came. It was Sparrow. Vivi didn't care. 'She was the one?! You mean she was the one!?!!!!' A tear streamed down Vivi's face. Finally, the rest of them noticed Vivi's odd behavior. "Vivi?" Her heart was thumping very fast as the images from that day flashed across her mind repeatedly. "Vivi...? ....... Oh no..." Vivi paid no attention to anyone else in the surroundings. She was too focused on Sakila's words. "Vivi... I..." Sakila immediately stepped forward a little and tried to say something but was apparently stopped by the immense dark aura coming from Vivi. "What..." Whispered vivi. "What did you just say...?" Vivi forced a terribly eerie smile on her face as if she had turned crazy, her head still hidden under her black hood. "Vivi...?" "You said..." Vivi's voice cracked while trying to force down her rage. "You're the one who did this to Rei? You're the one who caused that incident?!" "That's... Right... Vivi I-" "You mean... All of these I know about you... Was a lie?" Vivi lowered her head further. "You were lying to us all along?" "Vivi..." "You mean you pretended to be my friend... All of these was just an act? You pretended to help me, pretended to save my brother, pretended that you wanted to help me in my revenge... Pretended... " Vivi paused. "You... All of this... IS A LIE!?" "VIVI!!!" All yelled as the girl pounced and grabbed Sakila by the throat with her face full of anger and hate. "Vivi... I...*cough*" "You... You mean...?" Vivi grinned crazily, "... You mean I have been wasting all my time chasing the wrong enemies the whole time... You mean my enemy wasn't really the AF.. You mean my target for revenge isn't really the AF BUT YOU ALL ALONG!?" Vivi gritted her teeth so tight blood flowed out of her mouth. He fists clenched onto Sakila even tighter now until she had trouble breathing. "Vivi!!! No!!! I totally understand how you are feeling right now!!! But we can't kill her!!! At least not yet!!!" Someone shouted from behind Vivi. "Humph." Vivi managed a cold laugh and slowly released her grip on Sakila. The girl coughed to regain her breath. Vivi pulled down her hood from her head and stared coldly at Sakila. "Fight me."

Misaki stared at Vivi before looking at the broken door, then back at Vivi. "Wha-what happened Vivi?" she asked. "Nothing happened." Vivi replied blankly. "I just didn't like the colour of the door." Without saying another word, the young girl headed casually towards the exit. She watched for a few moments before yelling out, "H-Hey! Wait!" Quickly, she ran to catch up to Vivi. "Where are you going?" "Out." "Well, not without me you aren't." Vivi sighed and continued walking with Misaki tagging along. "Where to?" "To collect something..." ---------- "Is it done?" Vivi asked as she stepped into the construction room. "Chibi, what'ch you doin here now? It's not even a day yet!" "Well, urgent business." "Told you the fastest I can go is a few days..." the guy stared down at the half finished bird. "Well, then get as much done in an hour. I'll take it back here after I'm finished." The guy signed and picked the bird up and tweaked it a little. "... You always come and give me trouble..." He handed the bird over to Vivi. "I've just screwed it back. I took the chip out from your bird and replaced it with a larger and probably faster chip already, but I haven't added the 'function' that you require yet... So there is really not much difference. Well, the battery is probably quite low now and may only last up to 4-5 hours so you might want to be careful." "Right. Thanks." Vivi took the bird and turned on the switch. "Vi-Vivi!" It chirped. "Good." Vivi nodded and headed out of the construction room with Misaki following closely behind. "Where to now?" Misaki asked. "To find Sakila." Vivi looked back at her,Vivi looked back at her, before turning to her bird. "Do your job Kuu." "Sakila! Sakila! There!" The bird turned its beak to the direction of the exit. Both girls headed out.

Vivi walked past misaki nonchalantly. She did hear what misaki said though, but it was within her expectations. She glided on her wheeled shoes to the door and to everyone's surprise, she knocked the door politely and went in quietly. Jackson and Brent were in the room. "Oh Vivi. It's been long." Brent motioned towards a chair. "Would you like a seat?" Vivi ignored him and leaned against the wall. "You're the same as always." Brent let out a soft laugh. Vivi continued to stare hard on the ground. "Now, can you tell us what you have been doing since greyfield's capture, and during the events which lead up to Mokou's death?" Vivi paused for a moment before replying sarcastically, "Kicking the bell, render people homeless and happily taking a jog." "Vivi! Please be serious."Jackson raised his voice. "Now now, calm down." Brent turned to Jackson and patted him before turning back to Vivi. "Looks like you haven't changed a bit huh, ever since you were with us..." "Humph." Vivi rolled her eyes. "I know why you're trying to be difficult Vivi, but that's not going to help the situation, or your friend at all." Vivi looked away. Jackson turned back. "Vivi, if you want us to help, then you'll have to cooperate with us." Vivi breathed out. "Your point is?" "Get Sakila back here. We know you're the closest to her. You will have more luck of finding her than us." "Luck? Is that a joke?" Vivi let out a laugh. "I refuse." "Vivi!-" Jackson was about to blow when Brent put out his hand to calm him down again. "Well you can think about it before making a decision." Brent commented. "I don't want to believe that Sakila is the killer too, but we have to find out and make sure. I'm sure you also know what it means if you do not cooperate with us on this." "...?" "If she really were the killer, we have reasons to suspect she has an accomplice. And you being close to her and not cooperating with us isn't going to help." Brent lowered his voice. He paused for a moment before continuing. "You have a brother to take care of Vivi..." Vivi's eyebrow furrowed, understanding his words perfectly. Jackson seemed to have taken the hint as well but he remained silent. "I'll give you some time to think about it. Try to give me a reply before this week. We'll be waiting Vi-" "Humph." Before Brent could finish Vivi had already turned to the door to leave and this time, instead of opening it gently, she thrust herself and kicked down the door, blowing off even the hinges. She then walked out nonchalantly in the stares of the surrounding people. "Wha-what happened Vivi?" Misaki looked like she just witnessed the release of a nuclear catastrophe. "Nothing happened." Vivi replied blankly. "I just didn't like the colour of the door." Without anyone saying anything else, Vivi headed casually towards the exit.

(I am okay with continuing. Even if we cancel this round and start the next round, I'm not sure we have enough people as most people are still busy this time of the year due to exams coming soon. I suggest we can continue this round until Moho comes back and let him decide what to do with it then. Else, you can do as you deem fit I guess~) (Btw, a summary. Oh... Read moho's first intro post to understand btw. >__< Well the wars have started and there's this weapon we need to stop. Can't really remember but something like particle bomb or something... Similar to nuclear but more destructive. It was said that it will prime in a week and the armed forces will use it against us. While trying to stop this, we encountered a scenario where Sakila was actually the niece of Armed Forces leader - grey field. She tricked him and got greyfield captured. Just then, the Intelligent services leader, T, appeared to tell Sakila that her long lost parents whom she was looking for is with them, so in order for her to find them, she will have to kill Mokou, which she just did. Now, she is looking and perhaps waiting to join the Intelligent services. Also, since greyfield is out, Yi took over the AF. Anything else in the story is random. =V there's this hint that Ash/sparrow is also actually related to greyfield but not yet revealed. ) (Okay, there. A little messed up with the sequence but no matter. Doesn't change much. Hope it's not too short to understand >__<)

Vivi hung up after the call was redirected to voicemail again. This is not a good sign. "That idiot." Vivi cursed. "Where'd she run off to? Ignoring my calls too..." Now it was pretty obvious that the girl had something to do with the recent events. Vivi just hoped the girl would have discussed stuff with her before doing anything stupid. Vivi had always been a selfish person. She cared for nothing more other than her hopes of eliminating the AF and ease her hatred. All she cared of was her own objectives. She would never have cooperated with anyone, not even the rebellion if they could not help with her aim. She has never really bonded with anyone in the rebellion nor cared much for anyone. However, it was different with Sakila. She was the only one of her few friends who she was concerned for. The reason is unknown. Perhaps it was because she knew Sakila before she planned her revenge against the AF, or perhaps it was due to the fact that she saved her brother. Either way, she was worried. Sakila had never ignored her calls but now she is. There must be something to this. Vivi shook off the bad feeling and dialed a number.

"She didn't pick it up." Vivi hung up. She used a spare phone given by the engineers to call Sakila, but it reached voice mail. "I'll try..." "... How is it?" "No luck. She's not responding." All three sighed. Just then the last guy came out from the room to call on them. Misaki turned to the both of them and patted hard on her chest two times before heading for the room. Both Sparrow and Vivi replied in the same manner. This was an old traditional way of wishing good luck in the rebellion, usually in more mission critical or life threatening situations. But in recent years, it's meaning have changed slightly. Vivi picked up the spare phone and dialled Sakila's number again.

"What do you think of this?" Misaki asked, turning the direction of Vivi and Sparrow. Sparrow turned to Vivi. "Why are both of you looking at me?" Vivi looked away annoyingly. "Well, I thought you'd be more experienced in this as Jackson kept sending you to missions like this..." "Humph. It's obvious right? I'm sure both of you realized as well..." Vivi grunted. "You don't need experience in this. The shot didn't kill her immediately. Too much blood loss, but didn't die from blood loss. No external visible bruises anywhere either. Probably died from some other internal injury like head injury or neck injury whatever..." "What I thought as well, but not as obvious as you described." Sparrow added with Misaki nodding her head in agreement. The body was already in the custody of the forensics team so there was nothing they could have done. "Who could have done such a terrible thing?" "It's pretty obvious tha-" "-that its an insider job?" Misaki cut Vivi off before she could finish. Vivi didn't respond but it was exactly what she was thinking. "Mokou is not our ordinary battalion soldier who will get ambushed so easily, and without any or much retaliation. The injury was inflicted at very close range, indicating that it was someone she trusted, possibly from the battalion." Vivi thought so too, but she was still quiet. She had a bad feeling about this. "Vivi, any thoughts?" Vivi didn't answer. She was deep in thought. "Vivi?" "Huh...? Oh. i was thinking we may be involved in some trouble guys..." Vivi replied. "What do you mean?" "To be precise, me and sparrow and... Sakila." "Ah...! No way!" "Looking at the situation... We three could end up as the primary suspects." All three understood what these words meant. The expression of the trio turned grim.

(Still busy. It's the 7th day or CNY. It's everyone's birthday. Happy birthday all!!! I'll still post though.) ------ Empty. It seems like all have returned to base. Vivi would have appreciated if someone were to go inform her. In a corner, she saw some remaining rebels leaving, and decided to go ask about the situation. Vivi somehow manage to 'borrow' a phone from the unwilling rebel and phoned Misaki. She then knew about the capture and retreat and Sakila's uncle etc. Vivi decided to head back as fast as possible. ----- "What's the story???" Vivi asked as she threw open the doors of the meeting room. Jackson was already there together with all the rest of the members. "You're late Vivi. We were about to start." "Humph. Won't be early if I had to return here by foot instead of having a ride like these guys." Vivi threw a glance at Misaki and the others who tried to laugh it off. "Now now, lets not waste too much time and start already... The topic is... Grey field captured..." Jackson proceeded with the meeting as Vivi walked to the other side and sat down casually beside Misaki.

From a distance, Vivi heard some commotion and within a few seconds, she saw a large group approach. It was the armed forces. However, it wasn't orderly and Vivi assumed it was a retreat. Before they reached the North section, they took a different route out of the district. 'Is it over?' Vivi thought. She approached close to the retreating army and spied on them from a distance. Yi seems to be with them. However, Greyfield and Petya seems to be missing. Even though they seem to be retreating, Yi seems to look pretty pleased. Something's not right. Vivi had to ask someone about this. She immediately zoomed back to the village centre at her fastest speed. -------

"......" Vivi started to get impatient from all the waiting. The rain isn't making it any better. She remembered the day where her parents died. It was a dark and cloudy day, just like this. She remembered it was a normal drizzling day, and she was helping her mother bring the clothes in. Rei was playing in the house, fiddling with the bird which he made using simple materials. Her dad was sitting on the couch drinking his favorite tea. Never would they have expected that was the last day they would be together, and the start of Vivi's life of distraught. The soldiers swarmed into the once peaceful and quiet village, knocking and demolishing buildings and trees. The gunshots rang throughout the entire land and screams and crying from the people can be heard from every corner of the village. Vivi vividly remember hiding behind the altar with her brother as their parents defended the house. The army knocked down the door and entered with their guns and weapons. Their father took the enemy by surprise and knocked down all the front soldiers at once with his newly invented multi hit weapon. Their mother immediately crafted a spear from their broken down door and skewered some others behind. Even though there were more soldiers, the two of them worked together perfectly and steadily defeated the soldiers one by one. Vivi couldn't help but feel impressed by their strength even when only watching their backs at a distance whilst hiding behind the altar. After approximately 30 minutes of battle, the last of the soldiers were defeated and fell to the ground. Seeing that the coast was clear, Vivi came out of their hideout and rushed to her parents. "Mother! Father!" Vivi rushed to her parents side as Rei dashed into their mother's embrace, knocking her down on the ground. "Mother, father, are both of you alright?" Vivi asked. Both did not reply, just turned and smiled at Vivi and her brother. Her brother was still clutching on the wooden bird and crying in his mother's embrace. "Rei..." their mother told Rei softly. "There are still soldiers in the area... Mother and father needs to stay here to fight. So you be good and get out of here with your sister okay?" "No.. Mother, let's run. We don't need to fight. We can just..." "Vi... You take your brother and get out of here. Run as far as you can." "Mother..." Vivi turned to her father who turned around exhaustedly and forced a smile onto his face and gave her a nod. Vivi immediately understood what all of this meant - their parents are not going to make it - they must have exhausted all of their energy in the fight. "Father..." Vivi gritted her teeth and kept shaking her head in response. "Go... Now... Think for your brother Vi.." their father put a hand onto the wall to support himself and keep his balance. "You must take care of your brother... Go now!" Holding back her tears, she grabbed her 6 years old brother by his hand and dragged him away from the village. A few months later, Vivi, on her own will, entered the armed forces. -----

Thunder struck as the skies turn dark. A drizzle started right when the evacuation is going on. Smells of gun powder has been covered up by the smell of rain. Winds started to pick up and the air was sticky. "I have a bad premonition..." Vivi turned to inspect the sky. "A storm's coming." With a storm, the explosives cannot be fired. Gunpowder will be difficult to store and transport as well. The only problem is the missiles. Evacuation would be a problem with such weather too. Only about half has reached the hideout and the rest are still evacuating. Some refused to leave and are adamant on staying in their homes no matter what. Vivi had no choice but to stay there to monitor the situation. Also Vivi's wariness rose not because of the storm, there was an eerily unpleasant atmosphere accompanying the bad weather. She hoped that her tiny partner reached the technician safely. However, without her tiny friend she wasn't able to contact anyone else. She is stuck at the north side, alone.

(xD poor sparrow. ) ----- "THERE!" "GO!!" "NOW!!!" Vivi yelled to the people who did not know how to follow instructions properly. She hated work like this. It would be so much easier to fight. Why can't they just go kill off the troops before they arrived!? "Vivi... vivi..." "What!?" "Phone call. Phone call." "Huh!? Who?" "HQ. HQ." "Hq?" Vivi turned around. "Bzzzz... it's me." "......" "......" "Who?" "... Me. Fred." "..................." "... The technician." "..................." "... ... THE SHORTIE-" "-I know." "THEN ANSWER ME DAM****!!!" "So? What's up?" "Hm. I've done up a design for your bird. When you have the time, you can bring it down and I'll fix it up for you." "Ah. How about now?" "Now?" "Yea, I'll get Kuu to find you. It has enough battery to last its entire flight journey." "You're not coming?" "Might not. Oh btw, I might need him as soon as possible though. An hour. Possible?" "ONE HOUR!? You might as well kill me..." "How about two?" "... You seriously want my life?" "Alright you tell me." "Fastest a day. And along with all of the rest helping me. No more extra time." "Alright. "Hm." Vivi thought for a while before bending down and flipped on th power switch on her shoes and sped off towards the North. If Sparrow was there they would have one more person to deal with the south. It seemed like she sped off pretty soon after Misaki made the phone call. Nobody except Vivi noticed though. Sparrow just had this kind of skill. She's perfect as an assassin. Not before long, Vivi could see the North tower. She bent down and flipped the switch to power burst mode. At about 3 meters away from the tower, she stomped hard on the ground. *POOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFRRRRRRR!!!!!!!* An intense burst of air blasted out from her shoes and sent her flying. When she was within reach, she grabbed the tiles which was sticking out of the building and with a swing, she swung herself into the tower and her foot aiming right for the bell. *DONGGG!* The bell chimed through the entire land. 'There. Now for the evacuation plan.' Vivi jumped off the tower and headed towards the buildings.

I see. :V Okay Guess I'll Continue~ ----------- As Vivi and the rest were about to strike, Sparrow joined in and took the attention away from those guys. "Well, looks like some o' the forceless're misbehavin'. Wouldn't yer precious Greyfield love ta hear about it?" She smiled crookedly, nodding to the three girls. 'Sparrow... What's she doing here?' Vivi thought. From their expressions, Sakila and Misaki didn't seem to be shocked. Guess they already knew about Sparrow. "I dunno what ya think yer doin', but I'm pretty sure yer botherin' my friends." Her gloves and eyes began to glow as Reaper's Touch started charging. "An' I wouldn't do that, 'cause in case ya hadn't noticed, I'm the little sh** that pounded the crap outta Petya yesterday..." Darkness overshadowed her as she gave the men her iciest stare. "Unless ya step away from 'em an' drop yer little toys, ya might 'ave ta tell the gen'ral 'bout why some chick sent ya back in full body casts..." The soldiers took a step back. "Oh-oh... I-it's Sparrow from the rebellion... ah-haha-ha-erm.. we-we'll take our leave then... if-if you don't mind..." The three small-lings turned to leave. "Ah- wait up." Sparrow pulled one of them back by their collar. "Do you know where is Petya?" "You-ou mean General Pety-ya? Erm..ermm... I-I don't know." the soldier looked away. Sparrow raised an eyebrow and grabbed his collar harder. "Ahhh! I'll tell you! I'll tell you! He-he's at the base now... bu-but he-he's coming here in a few hours time..." "For?" "I-I don't know! We-we were supposed to be stationing here to-to help out." "Hrm!?" Sparrow stared fiercely at the soldier. "I-I think they-they may be thinking of-of blowing up explosives or missiles or something! That's all I know! Really!" "R'ght." Sparrow dropped the shaking soldier and he scurried off like an ant. "Humph, that was impressive Sparrow." Vivi commented after the AF soldier ran. "It seems like your name has penetrated the AF. I'll remember to use it next time when anything happens." "Not the time to joke around Vivi..." Sakila frowned. "Did you hear what he said? Missiles? Explosives? This isn't good. We need to hurry and evacuate the people here! And we need to inform the higher ups to prepare for battle and get some troops over here as soon as possible. Oh yea by the way, thanks Sparrow." Vivi shrugged and turned the power on her shoes off. Need to save it for a few hours later. A faint smile surfaced on Vivi's face. ---------------------

Seeing Sakila sigh, Vivi wondered if what she shared was a little too much. She realized that she didn't exactly explain properly to Sakila what the cube is for and how it worked. Maybe she would another day after they have digested the excessive information. All three sat down and started having their lunch/dessert. People say sweets give the most energy. Maybe T eats sweets all the time, which could explain why he has so much energy to spare. Vivi licked her spoon clean before dipping it in for another scoop. Just then, a group of noisy and loud uniformed men walked in. A sudden tension flooded the restaurant. Vivi pulled down her hood and misaki and sakila followed. The entire restaurant turned silent and no one except those men were making any noise. They were people from the armed forces. 'Not good.' Vivi threw a glance at Misaki and Sakila who both understood. They were going to be as low profile as they can so as not to alarm the armed forces. If anything, they might hold a hostage. With so many people around, this isn't a good place for battle. It is lucky that they dont have a uniform. "Hey waiter!!! Get us some beer!" one of the guys shouted. "Hurry!" "So-sorry sir, we don't sell beer here..." the owner shook while he replied. "WHAT!? What restaurants don't sell beer!? Get some for us right now! " "Bu-" "Hey SIR." the waiter from earlier responded before the owner can say anything. Oh dear. Smells like trouble.. "Don't you have eyes to read the menu? This is a fruit and coffee cafe. We only sell fruit and coffee related beverages. No beer. It's either you order from the menu or leave." "...Huhhhh?! What did you just say to me?" the soldier frowned. "Oh god." Sakila whispered, Misaki sighed, Vivi facepalmed. "Nonono. I'm so sorry! I'll get you some good beer immediately!" the owner immediately turned to the waiter and smacked his head before yelling at him. "What are you standing there for!? Get the h*** out there and get some beer!" "Heh that's much better. We want 3 bottles each. Oh get some playing cards and some girls while you're at it would ya~ HAhahaha~ The boy cursed under his breath before being pushed out of the restaurant by the owner. "... What an irritating bunch." "Always hated them." "..." Vivi stared down her cup of parfait. (Yes her parfait is special :V) "Oh hey there~" one of the soldiers turned to the three of them. 'Oh shit.' One got up and walked over. They probably saw Sakila and Misaki. Both are beauties in their own right. Vivi continued to stay hidden under her hood. "Heya~ can we sit beside you ladies?" the guy plopped down right in between Misaki and Sakila. The other two guys followed and crowded around the table. "Oh brother... Don't you get tired of doing this everyday? Hahaha~" "Heya~ Wanna go out with me for today? I'll treat ya good~" the guy inched closer to Misaki and Sakila who both got their punches ready to fire. "Humph." Vivi closed her eyes and gave a perfectly aimed kick from the bottom. It hit. "Ow-owwwwwowowow! You-you- what the heck are you doing!?" the guy grabbed the injury in pain. "I'm gonna-gonna kill you--owowowow." "Haha brother, looks like you're out of luck today. We'll help you out~" The other guys inched closer. "Ohoh.. You're a girl as well~ Sorry we didn't realize with your hood on." another of the soldier said. "You're angry that our brother only paid attention to your friends right?" the guy placed a hand on Vivi. "No worries~ You know what? I love Lolitas like yo-OWWWWWW!" Vivi gave a harder kick. Touching her is forbidden. Some words are too. "Humph!" Vivi stood up and walked out of the restaurant followed by Misaki and Sakila. "Hey wait you bi*****!!!
