  1. Yes, this round is now unfrozen. But like IU said, you have been warned.
  2. Ah, yes, I did give the MVRP title to her. :V Though KKLT may potentially the best choice, I'm a bit iffy on allowing a player to be a temporary moderator, even with the current moderator's permission. If we are going to have a vote, I will vote against this move, mainly because I believe the moderator should always be responsible unless the circumstances deem it otherwise. I hold a similar stance as IU on this: A moderator should be responsible enough to not leave the thread "hanging", as IU nicely put it. I have previously observed Rose's behavior during my round, and I have noted her general inactivity during the round that had led me to kick her for inactivity. I would like to see IU's stance on this.
  3. I am not aware of Rosie notifying about an extended leave, nor am I aware of any sub mod, so technically the round would be discontinued tomorrow, considering the mod inactivity clause.
  4. "My, that girl has the imagination. Although, I can't blame her, given her mental condition." Mark stood up. "Some of you may have came through the airport and noticed a disturbing scene involving a girl kicking a boy. There was much blood. I would like to inform all of you of this: this girl is the perpetuator." He looked around, and satisfied at the attention he was getting, continued. "If any of you doubt her involvement in these actions, I have video proof, though I will refrain from showing it at this time." "Do not believe anything she says. She is unstable, and cannot be trusted." Mark's expression was serious. "I have been entrusted with legal guardianship over the girl, and I will make sure she does not commit any further actions of violence." Same lies he told Ash. However, the people seemed to believe it. "Of course, I did not do anything she claimed I did. I did not threaten her. I did not claim that I can kill her 1,917 times. I do not know anything about this plan she mentioned. Once again, she cannot be trusted." The effect on the room was subtle, yet Mark was pleased. He managed to cover up everything, and there didn't seem to be a single shred of doubt. He marked this 'Sakila' as unstable, making sure her arguments would be ignored. As for the legal guardianship papers? Yes, he didn't have any, and he couldn't fake them. He could claim he left them in America. The Australian authorities have no power to force the American government to reveal the non-existent papers, anyway. A plan was coming into Mark's head, and Mark admired its completeness. (My character is a real jerk, isn't he?)
  5. "Trying to get out of it, I see." Mark sighed. This girl was putting up more of a fight than he expected. Of course, she can't outwit him, with a 200+ IQ and his incredible knack of making unescapable traps. He gently felt his pant pocket, feeling the outline of his hidden camera. The camera had more than enough footage to pin her as the culprit, without a doubt. However, the girl was really annoying her, so he went over with a first-aid kit. He gave the girl basic first-aid, then whispered in her ear. "Hey, Sakila, or whoever you are. I know you want to kill me. But keep this in mind. I could have killed you over 389 times in the airport. There are 1,917 more ways to kill you during the rest of the day. And of course, all these times are untraceable back to me. What's your f**king plan, huh? Don't act up." He resumed giving the girl first-aid, then walked away after he was done. (Oh my, that's a nice try.)
  6. Gonzo by All-American Rejects.
  7. Mark walked over to Tsukiko. "Stop staring at me," he said. "And what do ya mean, freak show?" He looked around, then whispered, "The only real freak here is that 'Sakila' girl. She's a bit...deranged, to say." He shrugged, then continued, "Anyway, this gameshow...is likely going to require a little teamwork. Mind if we team up for a bit?" He waited for her answer, then walked over to Ash. "Ash, is it? You see that girl over there?" He motioned to 'Sakila'. "You remember that airport incident? She's the girl that made the boy bleed." He paused, then thought out what he was going to say next. "I'm her current legal caretaker, but she ran out from me when she received that invitation. It was by sheer luck that I happened to get one too. You mind helping me keep an eye on her?" He began to walk back to where he was before, then he turned and grinned. "By the way, are you a boy or girl?" (Hmmm, alliances.) :<
  8. "That girl. Again." He sighed. He quickly took out a hat and put it on, concealing his face. "I don't think she noticed me. She changed out of her bloody outfit, it looks like. Well, no wonder. That much blood would've given her away." The bus went and stopped at various stations. Mark was annoyed that 'Sakila' didn't leave on any of the stations. "Come on, don't you have somewhere else to be? Unless..." "Oh, man. She's one of the invitees as well?" Mark knew if he was spotted, it wouldn't be good. Especially after what he said back there. But he really didn't have a choice. If they were really both headed to the same place, he'd be spotted anyway. Might as well. Mark stood up and walked next to 'Sakila'. He took his hat off, slowly, and grinned. "Hey. You aren't getting away that easily," he mouthed. Then he put his hat back on, and walked back to his seat as if nothing happened. He crossed his arms. "This is gonna be fun." (:3)
  9. "My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the hell she is."
  10. NaNoWriMo is an event that occurs in November (it stands for National Novel Writing Month), where people have to write a 50,000 word-novel in a single month's span. It emphasizes quantity over quality, and perseverance over writing craft.
  11. (I will.) Mark was walking by the bookstore when he heard a loud noise. He ran to the source of the noise, and found an interesting scene. A unconscious, bleeding boy on the floor and 'Sakila', who was obviously the perpetrator. He sighed, then walked up and dragged 'Sakila' out of the store. He took her to a rather quiet area of the airport, and only then did he release this 'Sakila'. He scratched his head, then looked at her, from her head to her feet, which were covered with blood. "Hey, you're Sakila, right? No, you're not Sakila, are you? Who exactly are you, huh?" He frowned, then loosened. "I suppose I don't have any reason to ask why you'd be using a fake name. More importantly, why did you do that? You know it's not nice to hurt children. You might've killed him." He walked up to 'Sakila' and grabbed her by the neck, stared into her eyes intensely. "People like you...I hate. I really hate." He let go of 'Sakila', then walked off. "People don't hurt others for no reason. Wonder what her reason was." This thought was bothering him. He didn't really hate the girl. He said that on the spur of the moment. He was curious. Then he realized he'd probably never see this 'Sakila' again. "Why do I even care about that girl?" He put the bloody scene and the girl out of his head, then headed to the airport exit.
  12. "Sakila." Mark sighed, then closed his one open eye. "I think I've heard that name before. Something tells me this 'Sakila' isn't who she claims to be...but who knows?" Mark quickly toned out the noises of the airplane and the excessive talking from 'Sakila', like he was used to doing on planes, then thought back to the letter. He was certainly bored, but Mark never really liked gameshows. However, he hated to waste opportunities, so he tucked in his few belongings into a backpack and a small bag (both of them which were carry-on). The plane landed smoothly, and Mark loosened up. He looked outside the window, and watched the gate approach from his point of view. "I wonder how this trip will unfold," he wondered aloud, then got ready to leave the plane. (On the same plane as Sakila.)
  13. I ate it. :3

  16. That one's good, but why are you asking me?

  17. I thought ":V" first meant "talking too much". However, :V is a pretty versatile icon with various meaning depending on context.
  18. I've been mostly Nintendo since I began playing video games. I like games that are unique, entertaining, and for the most part, well executed.
  19. 1) Find a large picture with good quality.

    2) Crop it and set the quality to the maximum possible while keeping the size under 50 MB.

    3) :D

  20. Oh, I've played them. It wouldn't be fair for me to judge something I have no experience on. Yes, but not everyone's opinion is equally valid. :V
  21. I like that Rikka avatar better, but it's a bit low quality for my taste.

  22. I am just absolutely terrible at first person shooters. Also, I believe that first person shooters, in general, suck.
  23. It kinda went wrong a long time ago.
  24. Kaitou Kid should totally be a girl. Just putting that out now.
