  1. Nole said that in response to an interview question. The exact interview doesn't come to mind, though.

  2. Rikka avatar. :D

...I don't like this one particularly, but it's Rikka. <3

  3. You can't have a cake and eat it. You have to bake one first.
  4. INSIDE IDENTITY by Black Raison d'etre.
  5. SAO is a 5.2/10 for me, where 6 is average, so SAO is average erring on the side of bad. Good stuff: - One of the best soundtracks I've heard in a while. - Beautiful animation. Bad stuff: - Characters. I hate the characters (I used to like Kirito, but less now). - Unoriginality. We have seen virtual death-matches before. - Unmoving. I am literally unable to sympathize with the characters. Nor does my heart beat during the action scenes, or I cry during the sad scenes. I recommend Chu-2 (full name: Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai). Rating: 8.6/10 (good, erring on the side of great) Good stuff: - Interesting concept, nice look at a chunnibyou's perspective. - Characters. Especially Rikka and Yuta's relationship. Shinka gets a notable mention because of a flip-flop in personality. Also, I'm pretty sure you know someone in your life like Makoto. - Animation. Mainly when we see things from Rikka or Sanae's perspective. - Soundtrack. The opening and ending songs. And also, during the chunnibyou battles. Bad stuff: - Maybe more than one scene from chunnibyou perspective, cause those are animated spectacularly. - Pace. Moving a bit too fast, but not too bothersome.
  6. It's Thanksgiving - Nicole Westbrook :V
  7. How to Win at College. Strange how I didn't find this before.
  8. On my mind:
  9. It means what it means.
  10. The MVRP for this round is:
  11. I was lying. I mentioned that I couldn't lie in response to a query (and I'm not lying right now), but I said that without a query to respond to, therefore I was free to lie as I pleased.
  12. Remains unchanged: A: 6/10 S: 4/10
  13. What part of any of that is hard? It's taking notes. (This is coming from a person who prides himself on never turning in a single late assignment in his entire school career)
  14. "Huh, what a shame. I was expecting more." A person tapped each of the unconscious people on the head, waking them up. "You guys, you really disappointed me. I put you in this scenario, and all you do is turn on each other." The person shrugged, then helped AiSuigetsu onto her feet. "I've been watching you for a bit. That guy who was the 'manifestation of negative emotions', he wasn't actually supposed to be there. Turns out you guys, with your evil emotions and feelings, created him." The person pulled out a letter from his jacket, and showed it. "Remember this? The invitation from "Anne Scarlet"? Anne Scarlet doesn't exist. I wrote this. I wanted to test how you all would react in a scenario where it was everyone for themselves." "I was surprised that several of you didn't want to interfere in the manifestation's plans. Specifically, Misaki, Ren-kun, Heksu, and Wicky. Although AiSuigetsu did refuse the offer in the end, that really wouldn't have done anything." "I've prepared a private plane to take all of you back to where you came. I would like you to take what happened here and ponder upon it. Contemplate. Should you have done differently? How did you feel?" He gestured towards the door, which was open. Cold wind blew inside the mansion. FIN ============================================================================= > Misaki, Ren-kun, Wicky, and Heksu were the dissenters in the decision, and have been credited with a win. AiSuigetsu, KKLT, and Akai Sera voted yes in the decision, and OTTD Player was undecided. > AiSuigetsu received the offer, and refused it in the end. > I will announce the name of the MVRP tomorrow. > Role-playing is officially over. You are now completely free to release information I previously ordered you to keep secret, disclose your roles, etc.
  15. Yeah, phase change delayed till tomorrow. Sorry bout that.
  16. That's no fun if you AVOID Slender. Mind you, I got 8 pages while running into him several times.

  17. So, you say you beat Slender. I must say that I do not believe you.

  18. Ah, fine, I'll join this one, guys. My wishlist: As for what I'm going to do, it's going to be either a fanfic or digital art.
  19. Open your inbox, one last time. Please?

  20. DAY 6 HAS ENDED, THE NIGHT OF RECKONING HAS BEGUN "My, my, noisy spirits." The man sighed, and stared uninterestingly at the floating shotgun. He looked around, then looked back to the floating shotgun. His hand went to his eyepatch, and he slowly took it off while covering it with his other hand. "Can you ever keep quiet?" He uncovered his other eye, and a bright blue light came from it. The spirit of OTTD Player slowly disintegrated until it was no more. The shotgun fell onto the ground harmlessly. He quickly covered his mysterious eye with his eyepatch, then stared at Misaki. "That eye I gave you, the Eye of Truth, remember? My eye is its counterpart. Anyway, I'd appreciate it if you kept quiet, or I'll do with you like how I did with him. And since you've played this game so well, I'll let you in on a secret." He looked around, then continued after seeing no other people around him. "I made a deal with one of the three remaining survivors, that I will grant them safe passage in exchange for the deaths of the others. It's highly likely that this person will reject this offer. The best part is, that, should that person refuse the offer, they die. And there's other stuff involved too, but that's all I wanna tell you right now." He smiled, then walked off and disappeared. Misaki looked around, and saw a woman, an oddly familiar woman. Anne Scarlet. "It seems he's been wrecking havoc on you all." She smiled. "He has no intention to ever solve my murder. All he wants to do is entertain his crooked and malicious wishes. I'm pretty sure you've had some hint of this, but I will tell you his true identity." She looked around. "He is obviously not mortal, not in any sense. What he is, though, is a manifestation of man's negative emotions. He embodies wrath, malice, envy, and hatred. But he also represents sadness and loneliness." She sighed. "I'm afraid he's gone too far with his illusions. There's nothing we can do, as spirits, but wait." She crossed her arms and frowned. "The remaining three have already fallen into his trap. By tonight, it will be all over." "Unless, of course, everyone here unites to overcome him..." ======================================================================================== > THIS IS THE FINAL PHASE OF THIS ROUND. THE GAME WILL END AFTER THIS NIGHT. > Should the person that was given the offer refuse, they will die. In addition, they will not be credited with a win, even if their side wins. > Should the person that was given the offer refuse and the decision is not unanimous, the dissenters will be credited with a win. > Should the person that was given the offer refuse and the decision is unanimously positive, everyone will be credited with a win (this includes the person with the offer). > Should the person accept the offer and the decision is not unanimous, that person alone will be credited with a win. > Should the person accept the offer and the decision is unanimously positive, everyone will be credited with a win except the other two alive people. > PMs are coming out. Correction in the PMs: the voting breakdown will be released.
  21. Huh, can I ask one thing: How much time did you spend on this?
  22. (Hey, hey, ghosts, don't leave yet. There's going to be one last job for you to do next phase.)
  23. NIGHT 6 HAS ENDED, COMMENCE DAY 6 "It's not playing god, you know." The man was neatly perched on the shelf in KKLT's room. "I'm very limited in what I can do. That's why I don't try to bring back Scarlet...and who cares about that woman, anyway?" He scratched his head, then shrugged. "But I'm here for more important matters. You're really lucky, you know. I rarely kill anyone by my own hand." He jumped down onto the floor, and opened his arms wide. He grinned wickedly. "But after all, that doesn't matter, does it, murderer?!" The ground shook, and Em fell down. When she looked up, she saw the ceiling collapsing on her. There was a sickening noise, then another one followed. The man observed the wreckage. He shook his head. "My, my, looks like her roommate, Misaki, got caught up in all that. Well, that's a shame. She had the Eye of Truth..." Later that day, the man slipped a letter into a certain person's pocket. He smiled, and wondered how they would respond. "Dear XXXX It's about time you left this blood-stained mess, isn't it? This offer is for you, and you alone. The snowstorm is still strong, but I believe I have the capability to grant you safe passage out of this blood-stained mansion. However, there is an cost. This action will take an enormous amount of energy, and I'm afraid I used up my last amount of energy on that huge earthquake. Therefore, I will grant you passage, but everyone else will die as the cost. I will give you until this night to respond." ================================================================== > Both KKLT and Misaki were killed; KKLT has been revealed as a murderer. For those clever enough to see this, here's what's gonna happen: The game is going to end in 2-3 phases. > One certain person will have to make the choice: whether to leave and abandon everyone else, or stay and risk dying. Should this person choose to leave, they will be the sole victor of the round, which means that other civilians or murderers will still be credited with a loss. In addition, that name will be disclosed. It's been a fun run, guys, and I hope you guys enjoyed the round! > Should this certain person refuse the offer, their name will not be disclosed. There will be a consequence for refusing the offer. I will be modding another DCW IRL round sometime, though when, I don't know. > They must make the decision by the following night phase. The result will not be processed until the end of the following night phase. Now that you've seen this, you are not allowed to reveal this text's presence or quote this post. > Note: Being on the winning side increases your chance of being picked as a MVRP. Did I mention that?
