DAY 4 HAS ENDED, IT IS NOW NIGHT 5 Until the sun set, all the members fiercely debated their positions on Heksu's innocence. And then, it came to a vote. Curiously, 2 additional ballots, signed by Ren and OTTD Player were found, and were also counted in the vote. No one wanted to anger any spirits that day. Once the ballots were counted up, it came to a dead tie. Everyone looked around, wondering what to do, and then the mysterious man walked into the room. "You chose to conduct a vote, it seems. And it's a tie." He walked over, and put his ballot on the table. He looked around, aware of the looks he was getting. "I believe the true master of the house gets a vote, no?" He looked around again, then turned his ballot face-up, revealing his vote for "Guilty". "Well, I guess that's that." He walked over to Heksu, who was oddly calm, and grabbed him by the neck. Heksu began to glow, blinding everyone in the room. Once the light faded, Heksu was not there. In the man's hand was a glowing orb, which he hastily stuffed in his pocket. The man sighed, then turned around to the group, an exasperated look on his face. "You do realized you killed an innocent civilian, didn't you? Your indecisiveness killed a fellow innocent!" He shook his head. "I'm going to have to punish one of you for this." He pointed his finger at Wicky, who crumpled in pain. He walked over to Misaki, and whispered, "You didn't open the box, did you?" She shook her head. "I see. I'll leave that box in your hands. Open it if you wish." He walked to the exit, and turned around once more, facing the group. "However, I admit you've shown more effort into justice by actually killing a suspect. That's not bad. As a bit of a reward...I'll bring one of the dead back to life. How's that for a trade? Either Ren or OTTD. Your choice. Of course, I can also attempt to bring back both, but that's a bit risky." He turned around. "If anyone needs me, I'll be in the master bedroom." He walked out into the hallway, and disappeared. ================================================== > The vote for Heksu was tied. NIGHT 4 HAS ENDED, IT HAS NOW DAY 4 "Oh my," the mysterious man said, picking up the dead OTTD Player from the ground. "This wasn't done by the murderers...much too sloppy of a job. Like wild rage, it seems." "It seems that most of the people have taken the offer. Ah, well, it's not my concern. But I feel really, really bad for the people who chose not to get a new ability, so I'll heal them, I guess." He snapped his fingers. "Also, it looks like blood's going to be spilled on their own hands today. Heksu's been caught and accused as a murderer; I wonder how they'll decide his fate?" The man suddenly turned around, aware of another presence. Misaki stared back at him. The man shrugged, then smiled. "Hello, Misaki. I was wondering if you would do this for me." He pulled out a small, wooden box out of his pocket, and threw it at Misaki. "Keep this for safeholding, will you? If you open it, you'll certainly die. But hey, one of the murderer's names may be in there, so maybe." He put his hand to his forehand in a military salute, then disappeared. ========================================================================================================= > Heksu has been caught. The man shrugged, then kicked the large pile of weapons at his feet. "I took these from OTTD Player while he happened to not be looking. It's not good to have weapons, you know." "Anyways, I assume you all have your votes? As promised, I will heal those who do vote." He waved his hand, and everyone who voted became healed. "Now, onto the matter of death. The two people with the highest number of votes are..." "Wait! Please, don't do this!" a voice cried, though no one was sure who. "Don't, please!" The man frowned. Then he laughed. "Oh, my, compassionate soul, no? Fine, I'll reward you for your compassion, and cancel the punishment. I'll make sure more blood is shed later. Now, all of you," he gestured, "may continue with business." "However, before I send you all back to where you were, I have one more thing to announce. Each of you, when you return, will find an envelope. That envelope can only be opened by you, and it will tell you of a potential newfound power. However, I am honestly very sick of your lethargy. So, once again, here's a deal: everyone here can choose to input one name, and get themselves healed. Now, you ask, what's the catch?" The voice paused. "Here's the catch: the two names that were submitted the most will be killed. Of course, you can choose to not send in a name, but what's the fun in that? You stay injured." "Oh, and one more thing. Should I get less than 4 names, I will immediately kill all civilians. Trust me, you don't want that, do you?" The voice paused again, as if in thought. "Hmm, how about this as well? You know, I kinda like Akai Sera and Heksu, so you can't send in their names. What a shame, but you know." The voice paused. Really left it up to you guys, but I imagined that each Day is one IRL day, and one Night is one IRL night. And real time wise: Both Day and Night are worth 3+ real-life days.

DAY 2 HAS ENDED, IT IS NOW NIGHT 3 "Aha. Aha. Ahahahaha!" The booming voice was back, and it appeared very amused. "Oh, this is incredible. I can't believe you guys. Anyways, I see that Akai Sera has recently appeared. I welcome you to this bloody mansion." The voice paused. "Anyways, you all surely remember that deal I made with Misaki and Wicky? Here's the terrible thing: They both accepted. Ah, aren't they absolutely terrible? Heartless!! Brutal!! Murderers!! Ahahahahahahaha! Now then, the deal has been fixed. I will now take Ren's life." And then a flash of light blinded everyone, and a scream pierced the air. "Now that I've taken cared of that, I'll heal Misaki and Wicky's injuries as well." No flash followed. "Once again, I can't believe you guys. Heartless, heartless." Then the voice went silent. "W-w-w-what did you do?!" Aki ran, Ren's bloody body in her hands. She glared at Misaki, then Wicky, then Misaki again. "You-you-you killed him! How could you?! I won't...ever forgive you! Ever! Both of you," Aki pulled out a knife, "prepare to die!" She then ran, quickly disappearing. Joanne held her hand out, then pulled it back. She put it on her head, sighing. "Well, that certainly wasn't the right choice. Now, I guess I'm rooming with Maxwell." Maxwell looked around. Akai Sera will take over Rosie's role, effective immediately. As for plot-wise, I will let you guys decide how to incorporate her.

Of course, this wouldn't be fair to Misaki and Wicky, so I'll give Wicky and Misaki a double vote. This essentially means Wicky and Misaki's votes count twice. ROSIE HAS BEEN KICKED FROM THIS ROUND DUE TO INACTIVITY. I will pull in an appropriate substitute for Rosie from my current list of substitutes. The sub's name will be announced tomorrow, 6 PM Mountain Time. Ren-kun will be kicked from this round by the next phase change if he does not become active. I am also considering kicking OTTD Player. Remember, I determine whether you are being active at least once every 5 days, and especially what it means to be 'active'.
