The Austria-Hungarians? By the way, before my teacher gets to it, was Bosnia created after WW1 or WW2?
-
They're mostly just non-DC related independent episodes (except for 2 and 7). Like all other OVAs, they're not important to anything in the storyline, but you can still watch it for your own enjoyment. Personally, I really liked Wait For Me.

My teacher's just starting on WW1, so it's not so much of the Balkans as it is the cause of the war. Of course, we're taught that it's a place of ongoing tension. Sarajevo was a mix of people from many ethnic backgrounds, so when the Austria-Hungarians took over, the Serbs were upset. That's pretty much it. A longer report awaits. ... *sweatdrops*

I wish I could get a good group to guide~

My friends give me this look of disapproval when I shrink away from their hugs :/ My nails are so long they sort of just dig into the fingerboard and stay there while my fingers move. I admit, it's not something I should do often, but gosh I hate having short nails... I do wrist vibrato. Arm vibrato was something I never really understood.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean... Purse-snatching and detective development? I don't really see a connection there. Shinichi didn't "choose" her. She was there, in danger from the BO. The reason they work together is because of common interests. It may have developed more over time, but in no way did Shinichi choose her as his partner. As for Ran, that's just the viewer's point of view. It's Gosho overusing the damsel-in-distress scenes with Ran, but Shinichi doesn't exactly feel obliged to be with her the entire time. Even if you think that way, couldn't the same be said for Haibara? There are many examples in which Conan put Haibara's safety as a top priority. Skilled with a gun, maybe, but I don't recall her actually having a gun for the majority of the time. Haibara was brought up as a biochemist, so practically no training was needed. There's not much she can do in a 7 year old body, either. == Anyway, I agree that Shiho's more important. Ran may cause some severe psychological trauma if she dies (plus tons of criticism towards Gosho), but Shiho's more important in the completion of the plot.

First of all, I'm not bashing. I'm sorry if my post reflects that, but I'm not. I simply want you to further explain what your theory is; I know you're not crazy, but it's still hard to answer or play devil's advocate when you just post a few sentences and leave. And your attitude towards Balthazar is unjustified. He's saying that it's unlikely Gosho will play a big trick on us after 10 years, and I agree. Also, all he did was ask if you read the manga or watch the anime. We all know you somehow got this knowledge for DC, so you didn't understand the question. Ooh... I see. See, I didn't realize you meant that there was a different boss until now. Well, I guess your theory is possible? I'm not the person who has a database of DC knowledge, so there's no one specific fact that would disprove it. However, I feel that it's highly unlikely, due to its vagueness and its deviation from such a long plot line (also because I have no idea what the Akai arc thing was like). I'd send Gosho cookies if he were able to pull off such a big troll thing on us, but alas, he's one who likes the run the plot behind the cases instead of being all plot-intense like the 1-2 cour anime shows.

The Sphinx is a statue. It doesn't die, and even if you wanted to think like that, time has worn it down too much :V

I have refined the art of vibratoing with long nails. It works for every finger except the index My proudest stalker moments are either when I found 3 machine selfies or when I found Sonoci's livestream channel.

She's going to stay a child, IMO. I can't imagine the series ending like that. Gosho had said it would be a "happy" one, and in my mind, Haibara receiving the gift of being able to redo her child, with people she really loves this time around, will be the most gushy thing. (ಠ____ಠ) I'm remaining stubborn.

I wish that was possible for me.

Nah, but my parents warn me about them.

"Carrots are good for your eyes!"

Companies are releasing them early, so you probably can.

Their particles, but not their mind/soul/whatever. And their mind/soul/whatever is actually what makes them them. Exactly! Most people in this world don't, and that was something that was briefly grazed over in class anyway. There's nobody whose 'legacy' really lived on. True that.
