Manga is Dragon Ball all the way, while it was cut into sections for the anime such at Z and GT. Not entirely sure, but the manga I read had all the DB, DBZ and DBGT plots under the title Dragon Ball.

At first, I just let it go, seeing each chapter updated on the manga site, with the photo of Conan with a pipe. I thought that it would be boring and lame with a child detective. When I started reading, I couldn't stop until I had caught up. Took about 4 days on 700+ chapter then.
