As a big fan of the series, I love all of the characters. But, My most favorite character is Conan Edogawa. There are a lot of things I like about him. He's smart, good at acting (especially as a child. And not to mention, he's a pro when it comes to acting cute. ), I really love his seiyuu, Minami Takayama as well. She's actually been my favorite voice actress since Kid Icarus: Uprising. And I love his singing voice. Conan can sing very well. My others would have to be Haibara, Ran, Shinichi, Jodie, Mitsuhiko (the Detective boys in general, actually, but Mitsuhiko is my most favorite.), Sonoko, Prof. Agasa, Sato, Takagi, Yumi, Eri, Kogoro, oh and Yamamura.

I actually disagree, one of my biggest wishes, which would make me respect kogorou a little more, is if he, at latest, by the start of the last climax, figures out his identity (probably by an huge accidental let out on conan's end). And then like heiji once deduced, rather than putting him to sleep he'll basically give out the answer to kogorou during cases....which in turn will develop their relationship to point where he has no objections giving his daughter to him!! Thinking about kogoro...

Nah, most animation studios work on things by the week. If they show a preview, that's usually about all they've already animated. When episodes are made, they aren't made from beginning to end. Every scene is worked on simultaneously, or as simultaneously as possible, akin to the way torrents are downloaded. Because episodes are pretty much made in the course of one week, you can sometimes tell where a lot of the time and budget goes. In some anime you can watch a terribly animated 6th episode only to watch a gorgeous 7th episode a week later because all the skilled animators were ordered to spend 2 weeks to work on one episode, perhaps for an action-packed or climactic scene, and let the less skilled people work on episode 6, which maybe consisted mostly of stills and/or talking scenes. Neon Genesis Evangelion is notorious for it's horribly animated last episode or two, because the animation studio admitted to having had run short of funds. And of course there are studios like KyoAni who have sold their souls to the devil for a bottomless pit of animation money in exchange for having nearly all of their anime characters, regardless of series affiliation, look like blood-relatives ever since K-On. A bit of a mess, the anime industry is. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, I got around to watching Nichijou which is something I've been considering for a while now. Regrettably, I didn't find it as entertaining as Kenzi found it. While it was objectively a very good show, the humor never resonated with me. I chuckled a couple of times and smiled a bit, but for the most part I didn't really find it that funny. Maybe it's because I have a bad sense of humor or something. I don't mind slice of life, and I usually like it a lot, but there weren't many times I thought to myself "oh man, I know exactly how [insert character here] feels". The randomness didn't bother me either. Random silliness can be really great if done well, but it wasn't in this case. My biggest gripe is probably with the characters. I didn't find a single one of the six main characters according to MAL likable (except for perhaps Sakamoto). The one that I especially disliked, almost hated, was Hakase. Everything from her design to her personality irked me. Sigh, maybe I'm just not very good with children, but God damn that kid really ruined what I could have considered to be a decent show and made it average at best. However, I must say I adored the supporting characters and cast. If more scenes and gags focused on them, I probably would have liked the show more and even have forgiven Hakase. Ah, it's too bad, I really wanted to like Nichijou, too.

The PV preview was released today for Kimi e no uso. It's actually really good. Not bad for Valshe. Here's the Detective Conan album cover for Kimi e no uso. ( I used a spoiler, since the picture is quite big. ) I hope the animation will be good for this ending. Lately, the animation has been getting a bit simple. Which, I don't really mind really, but I miss the CG effects and such for the endings.

I have this version in my playlist. Nice to see someone with a similar taste. This post is mainly going to contain a very wide range of OSTs (plus a few others). You have been warned, haha. Didn't you say "Ran" is too overrated ? Then why bring ShinRan in this lol. Yeah Ran is kinda overrated. She's like a side character for a long time now. She's not even relevant to like 98% of the episodes. Don't know why she and Mouri-ojjisan are treated as main characters. And all the ShinRan fans hardly give a crap and don't know squat about Haibara it seems. It's always "I can't trust Haibara/ she's and he are too cold it would be a boring couple/ she'll kill Kudo/ she's a mad scientist" One guy said "They're too similar" and other says "They're too different !" To hell with looking things objectively. I've seen too, they have amazing chemistry, most ShinRan fans are simply too lovestruck with their couple to pay any attention to other things. Some ShinRan fan here actually said "If all the love stories are the same format then things will get boring" LOL. I think it's your fav couple's formula that is old as hell. Don't know how to progress with a love story ? Make them childhood friends and BAM they belong to each other ! That's original, right. They've got what, 7-8 of those on the show already ! It's just a tradition in every anime it seems, the pretty little princess gets the guy, and the most exciting and entertaining couple doesn't happen. Kudo and Miyano seem MEANT for each as partners, and make a pretty cute couple in a non-cliche way. They can make the story go on and on even after the BO's down. With ShinRan you'll see one cliche date, and then they'll fast forward to the future, with Ran wearing an apron fixing Kudo's tie before he goes for work. Seriously ? Wall E had a better love story.

Please tell me what you think of this... I'm writing this letter to the owner of the place where my iPod was stolen... Dear Sir, My name is Chelsea ________. I’m fourteen, and I’m writing to tell you that my iPod Touch was stolen at the ________________. This iPod was two hundred dollars by itself, but also had a case and earphones with it. I worked for over a year to save up money to buy it. It was my dream to get an iPod Touch. I managed to earn enough money and buy it. On June 22nd, I was getting a haircut and my hair highlighted while my mother was getting a haircut. At first, I put my iPod right in front of me on the counter. Later, it was moved by one of the hair dressers to prevent bleach from getting on it. I looked over to make sure where it was. When my hair was almost finished, I asked my mother if she had it because I didn’t see it in the spot it was before. She hadn’t seen it, and we began to search for it. There was a teacher and two students with us at that time. Most of the students had left already. While I was getting my hair highlighted, there was only my mother and I right next to each other with a few students attending to my hair. There were no customers near us. There wasn’t time for somebody to steal it unless they were one of the people working on my hair. My mother was reading a magazine and I was reading a book. We were both distracted. Apparently, my hair dresser didn’t see my iPod where I set it down and the person who moved it was somebody who offered to help with my hair to make the process go faster. There’s only a few reasons I can think of what happened: One, my iPod was thrown away when the girls were cleaning up. Two, my iPod was stolen by a customer, which I highly doubt as there were none near us. Three, my iPod was stolen by one of the students in your school. When my mother and I told the teacher and the two students remaining, the teacher told us that this rarely happens. More often during the day, but almost never at night. The students said they were sorry it happened to me and they’ve had problems with stealing before. However, their expressions said ‘here we go again’. The teacher also told us that there were security cameras everywhere. She asked us for our phone number and a description of my iPod. She said in the morning she’d ask if anyone could work the video cameras as the person who usually watches them is on vacation until July 5th. In the morning, the teacher called. She asked my mother if we had found the iPod. My mother replied ‘no’. Then the teacher informed her that the cameras had apparently not recorded the previous night. It seems strange that the same night the cameras don’t work, my iPod was stolen. I was hoping that you could possibly replace this iPod. I worked very hard to save up for it, and earned it. Now, I have to do it all over again and it doesn’t seem fair. My iPod had a password on it as well, so the culprit wouldn’t even be able to use it.
