  2. YO! Umm... I think I'd start a topic about Saguru X Shiho. What do you think of Saguru and Haibara as couples? Because it's kind of lonely for Haibara not having a spouse, so I guess Saguru will make a good match . [edit] I really think that this pairing is really awesome (and cute). They have/share many similarities ! Look: Both Shiho and Saguru have almost the exact same hairstyles (wavy/messy at the top) and also the same hair color (brownish). Haibara's okaa-san is British and Saguru comes from England. They both share the same hometown. They are both sarcastic in their own ways. (Gonna edit this list if I can think of anything...) So let's discuss it here... what do you think of this pairing ?

  3. Like the thread your top animes & mangas, now the anime characters. Edited: 12-08-10 The guideline is top 5. But it's only a guideline, you can make it more than 5 if feel like it. And why? Of the many characters in the animes & mangas, it's interesting which you will choose Honestly I don't really have a list coz it's really hard but on the other perspective on choosing w/c is w/c, this is my best choice: 1.DarkYugi (he's intelligent, mysterious, calm, confident; I like his Game of Darkness ability) 2.Kurama Yoko/Shuichi Minamino (he's intelligent, mysterious, calm; his supernatural ability is okay except the man-eating plants) 3.Itachi Uchiha (resilient, strong integrity, prodigy, powerful, calm, mysterious) 4.Ryu Amakusa (he's like Kurama) 5.Kenpachi Zaraki(he fights because he likes to fight unlike others who fight only for revenge, hatred or futile vanity; he doesn't hold grudges - a fight is a fight(he just enjoys it); unpredictable; his like Hiruma Yuichi of Eyeshield 21 Others: Yusaku Kudo, Zane Truesdale, Kenshin, Raiha, L Lawliet, Ban Midou, Hiruma Yuichi, Akabane Kuroudo, Urahara Kisuke

  5. Right, I should have been more precise. Don't put the < > symbols. In your case Kaoko, it would be: /msg NickServ register ********* gkoko@gmail.com

  6. Nope, nobody can see it. At the top of the frame, you should see a "Status" tab. That's where you should look when you do those commands. Don't forget to add a slash "/" before the line, such as: /msg NickServ etc.... This way, nobody will see those commands.

  7. If you turn on the closed captioning at the bottom, you can change it to English subs. In fact, what everyone says actually makes sense. It ties together like a real movie trailer. The guy must have really worked hard on it.

  8. There's a system in place to register your nickname. This way, if someone else uses it, after a few seconds or so, they will get renamed to something random. To register your username, just type the following command (while already having your desired nickname): /msg NickServ register your_password your_email Then you will receive an email to confirm your registration. Follow the instructions and you're good to go. The next time you go into the IRC channel, you simply need to login. If I recall correctly, it's something like: /msg NickServ identify your_password

  9. Now for the 4th letter from the 'k' section; 'け' [ke] (and 'げ')! Hiragana: Lesson 9 - 'け' [ke] & 'げ' [ge] け, in hiragana, or ケ in katakana, is one of the Japanese kana, each of which represents one mora. Both represent [ke]. The shape of these kana come from the kanji 計 and 介, respectively. Pronunciation: 'け' is romanized 'ke' Word beginning with 'け': 結婚 = けっこん (kekkon -> marriage) 刑事 = けいじ (keiji -> (police) detective) 警部 = けいぶ (keibu -> inspector) けち臭い = けちくさい (kechikusai -> mean; stingy [adj.]) Stroke order: Same with the previous 'k's lessons, a dakuten (I just realised what it is called -> gonna edit the rest of the previous lessons ) may be added to this character; this changes it to 'げ' [ge] in hiragana. け + " = げ (look below) Pronunciation: 'げ' is romanized 'ge'. Word with 'げ': 元気 = げんき (genki -> spirit; health - ex. o-genki desu ka? Literally meaning: Are you healthy? -> but usually translated to -> How are you? ^^) Note: You shall write 'け' & 'げ' 50 - 100 times in your textbook. If you want, like with the previous lessons, write 'け' 70 times and 'げ' 30 times . Memorize the shape, the stroke order, the sound, the pronunciation (echo the sound of the character each time you write it down), etc. And after do that, write 'か', 'き', 'く', and 'け', one after the other repetitively (か, き, く, け, か, き, く, け, etc.) 50 times (100 if you have time). I am seeing if there's any mistake...

  10. I just finished watching episode 219 again, and I am really supporting this idea. I would love to see Shiho and Saguru together! I mean, they're such a nice pair! I'm not saying this because I'm a ShinRan, but I'm saying this because Shiho just matches Saguru. They're perfect!

  12. Now moving on to lesson 8... Hiragana KU (and GU)! Hiragana: Lesson 8 - 'く' [ku] & 'ぐ' [gu] く, in hiragana, or ク in katakana, is one of the Japanese kana, which each represent one mora. Both represent [ku͍], and their shapes come from the kanji 久. Pronunciation: 'く' is romanized 'ku' Word beginning with 'く': 雲 = くも (kumo -> cloud) 蜘蛛 = くも (kumo -> spider) 頚 = くび (kubi -> neck) 口 = くち (kuchi -> mouth) 黒 = くろ (kuro -> black) 国 = くに (kuni -> country) 熊 = くま (kuma -> bear) Stroke order: Same with the two previous lessons (か [ka] & き [ki]), the Japanese character 'ku く' can easily be modified/change to 'gu 'ぐ'' by adding a dakuten (two small little curve) at the top on the right: く + " = ぐ (look below) Pronunciation: 'ぐ' is romanized 'gu'. Word beginning with 'ぐ': ぐらい (gurai -> about; around [time]) ぐるぐる (guruguru -> turning round and round) Note: You shall write 'く' & 'ぐ' 50 - 100 times in your textbook. If you want, like with the previous lesson, write 'く' 70 times and 'ぐ' 30 times . Memorize the shape, the stroke order, the sound, the pronunciation, etc. And after you've done that, write 'か', 'き', and 'く' one after each (か, き, く, か, き, く, etc.) 50 times (100 if you have time).

  15. Tron Legacy - Great movie. Just didn't get much fame because of poor advertising. Live Free or Die Hard - I loved all the Die Hard movies, but this was the best. Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith - Again, a great "end" for the Star Wars franchise. Really tied up everything well. Detective Dee and the Case of the Phantom Flame (actual title might be different because I don't remember the exact wording) - a great Chinese mystery story that would make Detective Conan fans go numb. This movie was the best mystery movie ever made, in my opinion. The Hunt for Red October - a fast paced based on a true story movie that would excite history fans. Though slow and hard to understand at some parts, it is a memorable movie that you would never forget.

  16. 1) Batman Returns: a masterpiece and a wonderful Christmas tale in the world of Tim Burton's monsters ! 2) The Lord of the Rings (the whole trilogy): one of the better works I've ever seen ! 3) The Empire Strikes Back: the best movie of one of my most beloved saga ! I'm still sad by the news of Kershner's death. 4) Schindler's List: a masterpiece ! 5) Batman: Mask of the Phantasm: an animated movie but a great one ! This is the only one which makes the spectator feel what truly is Batman.
