*second one is about the 'copy and past'-problem: as i mentioned in my comment, i also dont like copy and paste articles... same to you, i think. on the other hand, the gfdl allows to copy or modify article explicitly. so, for the [http://detectivconan.wikia.com/wiki/Detective_Conan_Wiki detectivconan.wikia] i would prefer the word 'copied' instead of 'stolen', since, at least they linked detectiveconanworld as the source for their articles. maybe its better, to link to the taken article directly... but you can comment or correct their references very easy, i think. ones more again, i really dont like article with only one source.. especially when they are copied by another page, since this isnt very useful, i think. on the other hand, detectiveconanworld also allows others to copy articles from the wikipedia with the information note on the mainpage... the gfdl only says, you have to keep up a history file for an article / document published under this licence and to recognize former authors, i think.

I've read the projects page, but the matter of priorities still leaves me a bit confused, especially where manga vs. anime summaries fall. At the moment I'm mostly browsing, correcting (what appear to be) mistakes as I see them, and expanding a section or two. I'd feel a bit more useful if I knew what content was ''the'' top priority, especially if it's shifted around at all since the priorities page was last updated.

Regarding the "solved by" thing, what I was thinking of at the time was that we should show both the "proxy" and the actual one who solved the case. Something along the line of "[[Kogoro Mouri]] (via [[Conan]])". Because in some of the episodes, the case gets solved by both Heiji and Conan. In some others, by Shinichi and in one episode (I read about), Kogoro actually solved one! :o<br>

Just one little note: Since we already have InfoBox_Char and InfoBox_TV, it would be good to keep it standard and call the movie one InfoBox_Movie (instead of Infobox_Movie). Also, wherever there's the "Case solved by" field, we could make a link to the one(s) who solved the case. Example: [[Kogoro Mouri]] (via [[Conan]]). Also notice that "via" should start with a small "v". I know, lots of small details lol. It's just that I like to follow standards, which is also part of my job as a web developer. :D<br>

Ooh, that's a good find regarding the logo. It looks like it happens whenever there's another "/" after "wiki/". The logo is most likely being pointed to from a relative path and the slash makes it look like there's a sub-folder. Which means the logo cannot be found. I'll definitely fix it during my next batch of updates/fixes. And great work with the episodes! As for Sango Yokomizo, it's really awesome! I'm quite impressed actually. I love how we've been pouring in our own content instead of just copy/pasting text from other sources like Wikipedia (we still do but we don't just do that). That's definitely good! :)<br>

Sure, sounds great! As for the 60px and 100px, they're all pretty much ok anyway. The only ones that kind of concern me are the real cheesy ones, like the ones for Mitsuhiko, Genta, Inspector Megure and Shiratori in [[Characters]]. They look, mm, what's the word, too simplistic? But I guess we'll eventually change those at some point in any case.

:::Yeah, but I might contribute other stuff too, especially since this wiki is still trying to get off the ground it seems. Sorry, I wasn't fond at all of the English dub. Mainly because of the name changes (I'm one of ''those'' fans, although I'm usually reasonable about it), but also I couldn't stand Kogoro's english voice... like, at all. As a guy I don't want to say this but it's the only word I can think of that describes it best: I think Yokomizo is... cute. He seems so intimidating but he backs down as soon as he upsets someone. I thought it was hilarious when Sonoko's grandpa was trying to catch Kaitou Kid and she wanted to be the bate so Kid and Makoto could fight over her. No problem! I'm just glad that I am able to help out and contribute to such a great site! I actually have an Excel spreadsheet I made that lists all appearances made thus far by each character. Each column represents a character while every row represents a chapter. Then there is various color coding and such for flashbacks, appearances, name mentions, etc. It took me weeks to finish but it was worth it in the end! Remember when we were talking about making a seperate page for Conan? Well,when we were discussing it, you suggested doing a seperate page for Shiho Miyano as well. I forgot to say I don't think that's necessary. While Conan and Shinichi can be considered 2 seperate characters because of the flashbacks to Shinichi's past and the fact that Conan uses a different personality and what not, There's really no difference in personality with Ai and Shiho, not to mention the fact that we only ever really see her as Ai. Just my 2 cents on the matter that I forgot to add.

He's only appeared once so far in the manga, but he was part of the plot, a case where three men named Kojima might be the culprit in a murder. Like I say, he's an "Edokko", a Child of Tokyo, and like an Edokko he has a high sense of honor and a short temper, I took an instant liking to him (after his identity was revealed). Where do you think would be the best place to put that Shinichi/Conan has finally gotten to visit his beloved London, home of Holmes? Also that, because Conan is already in London, he accidentally sounds un interested when Ran tells him that she's there over the phone and as a result pisses her off? Priorities

I've read the projects page, but the matter of priorities still leaves me a bit confused, especially where manga vs. anime summaries fall. At the moment I'm mostly browsing, correcting (what appear to be) mistakes as I see them, and expanding a section or two. I'd feel a bit more useful if I knew what content was the top priority, especially if it's shifted around at all since the priorities page was last updated.

On a semi-related-but-mostly-not note, I went into epic fits of squee when the Crystal Mother chapter was released via the efforts here and by Abs. Is there any chance a re-release of other poor quality chapters, especially involving Saguru, being tackled? I'm a fair typesetter and cleaner and would happily contribute, but my translation skills are marginally better than useless. --Ocianne 09:43, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

No problem! I'm just glad that I am able to help out and contribute to such a great site! I actually have an Excel spreadsheet I made that lists all appearances made thus far by each character. Each column represents a character while every row represents a chapter. Then there is various color coding and such for flashbacks, appearances, name mentions, etc. It took me weeks to finish but it was worth it in the end! Probably a no brainer, but...

In relation to the Voice-Changing Bowtie, I was going to add the usage of it from Lupin III vs. Detective Conan. Now granted, Conan solves the voice as Kogoro, but it's really Lupin in the guise of Kogoro, so would it be the Kogoro category or special cases? Antiyonder 05:50, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
