Part 1

A man seeks out for Kogoro Mouri to help in finding his passed wife's wind-up watch in his apartment, as Kogoro refuses because he thinks it's a silly request, Professor Agasa and the Detective Boys offer help. With everyone arriving in his house a women knocks and asks for the money the man loaned, he returns part of it and borrow her a film she has been looking for. As she was eager for seeing it, she watched right there in the video room. Conan found the watch still working, even though it's supposed to be stopped. The woman is found dead and the movie rewinded.
