Biography

Takashi Kawaguchi first worked for the movie Lupin III: The Fuma Conspiracy (ルパン三世 風魔一族の陰謀) as an animator. After that, he continued being active in the industry. In 2000, he joined the Detective Conan anime production in The Desperate Revival - Shinichi's Return as a key animator. Kawaguchi also worked for several Detective Conan anime episodes in 2001, but after that, he quit the anime production team. In 2022, he returned to Detective Conan and did key animation in Police Academy Arc Wild Police Story CASE. Kenji Hagiwara. In 2023, he worked in The Genius Restaurant as key animator as well.

After Kawaguchi quit the Detective Conan anime production in 2001, he mostly worked for Detective Conan movies and was almost present in all Detective Conan movie key animation teams. In addition, he has been one of the assistant animation directors in movies 19-20.
