Hiroto Yokote (横手 博人 Yokote Hiroto?) is a Japanese animation director. He takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime, movies and OVAs.

Biography

Hiroto Yokote was originally affiliated with Studio Boomerang. Yokote began working as key animator in the Detective Conan anime starting with Episode 3: An Idol's Locked Room Murder Case, ever since 1996. During the same year, he started to participate in the episodes Studio Boomerang involved regularly, from Episode 34: Mountain Villa Bandaged Man Murder Case (Part 1) onwards.

Moreover, Yokote was once the prop designer in Episode 209: The Falling from Mt. Ryujin Case, working along with Junko Yamanaka. In 2005, after finishing the key animation work of Episode 415: The Evil Spirit Appears on An Unlucky Day (The Case), he quit the Detective Conan anime production team.

In 2025, via outsourcing, Yokote returned and drew key animation for Episode 1155: Follow Them! Detective Taxi 2; future changes remain to be seen.
