IdentityUnknown Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 *hugs even more* :3 Good~, just listening to music. You? Dull. Reading a book about a Korean girl who's spent her entire life trying to impress her parents. Being the best once and trying to maintain it is harder than never being the best and trying to get there, because you've set a standard for yourself and either you've got to go higher than it or keep at it. It's like a parent will praise a 6-year old child for doing something good, but expect it from an older, say, 12-year old child.

IdentityUnknown Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 I hate being good for that reason. :/ My parents always expect better. They take my grades from a few years back and wave it in my face, saying, "Look at your grades here! Think of your grades now! They've dropped a lot! It's not because the work is harder -- it's because you're not working enough!" @Misaki-chan: I just started. Though frankly I can't see how a girl would be attracted to a guy that quickly...
Lia. Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 I've only ever gotten my work published when I was attending Elementary... I never topped the class or anything.
IdentityUnknown Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 I've only ever gotten my work published when I was attending Elementary... I never topped the class or anything. I was once there, and I am expected to continue to be there. My dad doesn't like second. :/
AiSuigetsu Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 my mom does that too that's why you should be like roger in the diary of a wimpy kid kill any expectations and ur parents will be surprised at the tiniest little good thing you do
