For fanfiction, I would write three drafts per chapter... On the first draft, I write and do lots of constant editing, before sending it to a beta. My second draft would be beta edited and rechecked again. My third draft would be posted. EDIT: DC Roleplay... I call Ran!

As for me, normally what I do is write it once, spellcheck it, scan through it and then send it (mostly what I write is something I'm working on for my friend). hopes Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 A beta-reader is someone who can help you with your story. Essentially, you write the chapter, and then give it to them to read after. They'll correct your mistakes and help you make it better. <3
