Anti-APTX4869 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 OH.... O_o. There are tons of Italian/German words in music like Crescendo, Pizzicato, Arco, Allegro, Andante, De Capo, @_@ etc... There are some French.. yes I have seen them but not much. Most of the music language requires English, Italian, German, and rarely French. I think there were Russian and Hungarian as well... most of the 'modern' music started in Europe, especially Italy(or ancient Greek), I think, was the first to make music by using a water harp or something like that,.... huh.... Anti-APTX4869 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 German is hard to pronounce. Their accents are very sharp like K, Z, G, B, D, etc... Their consonants tend to have very very sharp and short sounds.
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 I fail at language I'm so proud I can miraculously get to learn 3 languages and pass them o.O Well, Im on Japanese self study now XD hahah hopefully I dont fail. I guess I'll just give up German I can't get a single word from it... >_<
Anti-APTX4869 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 So far I know Basic-Intermediate Korean Basic-intermediate English Basic Spanish. .... I'm not so good with languages.
Misaki-chan Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 I see I have been ignored.... But it seems this conversation is about languages, so I'll just hop in. Languages I know: Advance English (native language and all) Basic Japanese (from anime and parents) Basic Intermediate French (that's my required language) VERY Basic Spanish (I literally fail at this language, but I do know a few words...)
Anti-APTX4869 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 ^^;; Language is complicated. but there are languages that any country would know: -Math... numbers... yea... -Science, since most words sounds similar.
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 My English = get high score for compositions, low for comprehension, and fail at arguments and rebuttals etc... My mandarin = get ok for composition, a little high for comprehension, and STILL fail at arguments and expository kinds... My Cantonese = home language. Dont take exams. Get laughed at by parents Understand perfectly well... but... XD Japanese? Self learnt... Compared to friend = toddler. XD oh dear...
Misaki-chan Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Math, I'm good at (compared to my peers). Science, eh~... not so much...
Anti-APTX4869 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 I used to be so good at math, but I think my skills are not as good. Science I'm pretty much confident...
Misaki-chan Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Well, of course Mr. Science Wiz... =___=
Anti-APTX4869 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Funny how Grace just texted me the same thing.. except she said "I'm not mad at you" after that line.
Misaki-chan Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Wow. Well, I'm glad she's not mad at you!
Anti-APTX4869 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Well, I'm going off. I'm buying her dinner today because I lost a bet... in 1-on-1 scrabble...=_=... by 1 point. it was a high point match 426-427

Forever Lost Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Have fun Saturday.. I see J-man again .. after Wednesday.. >.>''' this could be good or bad. I won't see him Sunday though... and I don't know if he's changing shifts already this upcoming Tuesday.. 'cause if he is... it's gonna kill me. It'll equal no time to hang out with him. Ever. But it would make him happy... *sigh*
Misaki-chan Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Je-chan! You're on! XD *hugs* What do you mean by changing shifts and all that?
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Why would it make him happy???
Parkur Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 The premise of this club seems really depressing
Forever Lost Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 *hugs back* I am XD For work... he works really early hours till 2:30 pm and they're doing a shift change for his group.. which means he wouldn't have to wake up so early - but it also means he'll be at work when he'd normally pick me up to go on Tuesdays...
