Anti-APTX4869 Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Puzzle solving is always good exercise for our brain. since we are DC fans, we should squeeze out our brain for further problem solving. Anyways, here is the Issue #1 Once upon a time, in the West Lake village, a servant lived with his master. After service of about 30 years, his master became ill and was going to die. One day, the master called his servant and asked him for a wish. It could be any wish but just one. The master gave him one day to think about it. The servant became very happy and went to his mother for discussion about the wish. His mother was blind and she asked her son for making a wish for her eye-sight to come back. Then the servant went to his wife. She became very excited and asked for a son as they were childless for many years. After that, the servant went to his father who wanted to be rich and so he asked his son to wish for a lot of money. The next day he went to his master and made one wish through which all the three (mother, father, wife) got what they wanted. You have to tell what the servant asked the master.
Misaki-chan Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 That's hard... Can you give a hint?? PLEASE~???????
Sayomi Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 He asked: I wish for the wishes of everyone else to be granted? xD
Rum Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 The servant said: "My mother wants to see her grandson swinging on a swing of gold." (Just a guess...) 1
Anti-APTX4869 Posted April 24, 2011 Author Report Posted April 24, 2011 LoL yeS! Very good, Rum. ISSUE #2 A man is trapped in a room. The room has only two possible exits: two doors. Through the first door there is a room constructed from magnifying glass. The blazing hot sun instantly fries anything or anyone that enters. Through the second door there is a fire-breathing dragon. How does the man escape?
Aeyra Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 The dragon is asleep? The dragon is dead? I think it's something like that..
Anti-APTX4869 Posted April 24, 2011 Author Report Posted April 24, 2011 Oh yea I forgot to mention, Round shoulder means "IDK" Flat Head = "/face palm," or "Duh!" Nope! Try again! HeeHee...
Misaki-chan Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Hmmm... Just a guess, but... Does the man wait until it's night time and go through the first door? 1
Anti-APTX4869 Posted April 24, 2011 Author Report Posted April 24, 2011 YES! Misaki-chan! You are correct! Now next one... I can't think of it... Sum1 want to continue?
IdentityUnknown Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 I'm no good with coming up at them, I can solve a few though...
Anti-APTX4869 Posted April 25, 2011 Author Report Posted April 25, 2011 (edited) My friend sent me this trough E mail and I got the Answer. (Took me 22 hours) Edit: ISSUE #3 This past weekend, Dr. Riddler invited a group of friends to a party of puzzles and games. During the night, Dr. Riddler presented a "special riddle" to his guests. Whoever figured it out fastest would win a great prize! The six guests who attended were Calvin Peterson, Florence Oak, David Gardner, Lester Page, Joel Pastor, and Veronica Andrews. After a lavish dinner and a few more hours of puzzle fun, Dr. Riddler began to announce the name of the person who figured out the "special riddle:" "OK now everyone...!" "The winner of..." "'The Hardest Riddle Ever' Event..." But before the good doctor could congratulate the winner, a loud noise from outside interrupted him. However, everyone knew who had won. Who won and how do you know? Edited April 25, 2011 by Anti-APTX4869
Moonlight Magician Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 i think it's Florence Oak but i don't know why 1
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 You??? lols. since you got the answer before everybody else. hahaha
Anti-APTX4869 Posted May 13, 2011 Author Report Posted May 13, 2011 i think it's Florence Oak but i don't know why That is correct! If you take the first letter of the words from: "OK now everyone...!" "The winner of..." "'The Hardest Riddle Ever' Event..." you get One Two THREE So the next line should say FOUR, which would be "Florance Oak, Ultimate Riddler!" Here is the next one: ISSUE: #4 What is 0 = S of a C ?
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 10? Dont really understand the question
Anti-APTX4869 Posted May 13, 2011 Author Report Posted May 13, 2011 Hehehehe... i should separate that from the sentence... Solve: 0 = S of a C
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 Eh... i still dun understand the question lols let s = x 0 = s of c x = s of c + x cx of c = sx of c cx = sx cx - sx = 0 x(c-s) = 0 x=0 or c-s=0 since x = s, s=0. c-s = 0 so c= s = 0. Haha logically this is incorrect since c cannot be 0.

Yey!!!!! I didn't know that i'm good at guessing
Moonlight Magician Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 Another hint please i don't understand the question
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 0 = Sides of a Circle? Yea i think this is the answer hahah. I was confused over the question lols
Anti-APTX4869 Posted May 14, 2011 Author Report Posted May 14, 2011 Good job Misaki-chan! 0= S of a C 0= Sides of a Circle A Circle does not have any sides because it is circular. But there can be infinite numbers of its side as well. there's two versions of this question. 0= S of a C and Infinity = S of a C ISSUE#5 If I stand up, you can count. But if I lie down, you can't. What am I?
tengaku squared Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 Good job Misaki-chan! 0= S of a C 0= Sides of a Circle A Circle does not have any sides because it is circular. Anti-APTX4869 Posted May 15, 2011 Author Report Posted May 15, 2011 I've also heard 2 = S of a C, and 1 = S of a C. really? I haven't heard of that.
