I found out that toads and frogs are apparently very attracted to my house. There's no standing water or anything so I don't know why they're there but there's been at least 6 different toads that have just been chilling in our basement window wells recently.

I played P3 Portable. And ah I see. I haven't read the P4 manga but I'm assuming it doesn't stray too far from the game itself. I found P4 a lot more enjoyable than P3 to be honest. Like P3's not a bad game at all but P4 was a lot easier for me to sink more time into. I don't try to dwell on it too much but the ignorant things I said when I was 14 still haunt me a little bit People not using their actual names on twitter probably does make it more likely for anybody to say something personal. But from what I've noticed at least is that quite a few people have fandom accounts and then locked, personal accounts that they only let their friends have access to. Because of that, if people do post stupid stuff, a lot of it seems to be on those personal accounts so there's not too many consequences. There's also favorites on twitter which a lot of people seem to use instead of RT-ing more personal things. If you scroll through Cross the Line's page, most of the tweets probably have higher favorite counts than RT counts so it's possible to have personal things connected to your account without it being super noticeable. That being said, that's just my experience. Twitter's accessibility and casualness does make it really easy to post embarrassing stuff though. I have no idea if posting too much personal stuff is a problem for people who use twitter similarly to facebook. Oh wow, really? I didn't hear they'd gone as far as to cut off certain companies in Greece. It just seems like things are worsening there with each coming day. On the national news earlier, Greece's current crisis was compared to US's Great Depression which really puts things into perspective since it pointed out that after 5 years, the US was on the rise again economically whereas Greece's situation over the past couple years has not been improving. With the recent vote showing 60%+ voting "no" to a bailout I wonder what sort of agreement the talks with other countries will reach since it sounds like them not reaching an agreement would worsen the situation tenfold. I'm very tired so I hope that's not too incoherent And np!

Passion Pit - Constant Conversations

OMM: I have a newfound appreciation for fireworks being illegal in Ohio. Someone in my neighborhood shot off a firework that made my entire house shake. not cool bro, not cool Persona's catch is that it's essentially a visual novel and more. It's a niche combination so its gameplay is pretty hit or miss. but I feel u, the turn based combat can be incredibly frustrating ....how far are you P3? .......who's your favorite character? are considering playing Persona 4? That kinda sucks, that's why following people back isn't always ideal. Like you might meet someone cool but more often than not you end up just seeing a bunch of content you're not interested in :/ Yeah it's definitely one of those things that the rest of the world will probably sit back and watch to see how the whole crisis is solved and what kind of after effects it has. I'm glad you don't dislike of your high school self if given the chance I'd go back in time and punch my 14/15 year old self square in the face haha Ah yeah, it makes you wouldn't be as interested in twitter if none of your friends use it. Twitter is pretty spur of the moment and while that could potentially lead to posting something regrettable it more often results in something unintentionally funny. It is a kinda daunting thought that you could possibly saying something stupid but that really applies to all social media/networking since the internet is forever after all. I heard about that Indiegogo campaign. It's up to 1.7mil+ euros now but it still says it's 0% funded which is just crazy. I've seen some people sort of joking about how pathetic it is that there's indiegogo thing for an entire country but they probably need all the help they can get. and uh, , , , , how about writing about marionettes or something idk

OMM 1: So the past couple days it's just been me and my dad, or in other words, one lactose intolerant person and one partially lactose intolerant person; and when I went to make myself mac & cheese, the second I put the noodles in the water I realized my house doesn't have any milk it's been like 5 hours and I'm still kinda disappointed I settled for toast because I didn't want to make anymore dishes to clean OMM 2: "(friend A) poked you 23 times in a row!" "(friend B ) poked you 15 times in a row!" wha t is this this isn't 2011 where am i ah youth, thinking about it is just a constant reminder of how stupid you were/are fortunately not all my middle school stuff was terrible like 6th and 7th grade were mostly fine but 8th grade was just not... good, , , , it's good you aren't already embarrassed of your high school self (assuming you will be embarrassed of your high school self in the future)! My freshman year/early sophomore year self was terrible and embarrasses me fairly often And it's nice how casual twitter is in comparison to facebook, tumblr, or even here. Like it feels like there needs to be a point to my posts on other sites/forums but on twitter I can just tweet a warthog emoji or post multiple pictures of my cat and no one cares and it's great Maybe it'll happen in the future c: I hope you don't like reading your timeline in its entirety then because following people back is the one way to ensure you'll never be able to read all of it I saw; certainly doesn't look like this is a good time for the euro. It's amazing to think just how many countries Greece's situation is affecting simply because they're linked by the euro. I hope the residents will be ok with the atm's running out of money n' all. o gawd first the thing in the science thread and now here, I'm unintentionally starting long discussions on very touchy, opinionated things i'm sorry I don't believe I've talked to you before so before I possibly step on any toes on accident (in case I do, I apologize!), nice to meet you! ahhh I gotta be careful how I word this I'm not quite sure how to start this either so I apologize if this starts off a little crudely I can see how some can see the Supreme Court's ruling as something that infringes on their beliefs. If I'm not mistaken though, due to the separation of church and state no religious establishments are going to be forced to perform same sex marriages if they don't want to. (Please correct me if I'm wrong! I'm short on time at the moment and was only able to briefly fact check this!) And that makes sense, it'd admittedly rub me the wrong way if churches and such were forced to perform marriage ceremonies. Because religious establishments can't be forced to perform the marriages I guess that's why I have a hard time fully understanding those who feel attacked. Those who feel attacked aren't necessarily personally affected by the decision either. It didn't take away anything from them. If they were in a happy, heteorsexual marriage a couple days ago, the same still stands today right? Even if you're against it personally I don't get why you should hold other couples back from getting the legal benefits of being married. Same sex couples are just as deserving of them right? I didn't think too much about the way the same sex marriage decision was decided because it fell in favor of the side I support (agh that sounds arrogant...). Though looking back on it, the way it was legalized probably wasn't the best. A vote similar to what Ireland did back in May is probably the best way to go about such things. However, when reading through my local paper this morning I saw that while same sex marriage is now the law, in the state of Ohio's constitution, marriage remains defined as a union between a man and a woman. That won't be changed unless a vote is a held and the majority votes for it to be changed. If a vote is held and the majority votes to keep it as between a man and a woman, despite the law, it won't be rewritten. It won't change anything in the long run but depending if/when the vote happens and what the result ends up being there could be an inaccuracy left in the state's constitution. Assuming other state's constitutions will need to hold similar votes, I think it'll be the little things like those that will really show how the country feels about same sex marriage. As you said, screaming at the opposite side that they're wrong and need to change how they feel about things isn't right. You can't always help how you feel about things. There does seem to be a lack of people on both sides who will calmly explain their view and try to get others to join their side. Even with the people who are like that, they might use feelings as the base of their argument and that doesn't always work. --It's an emotionally charged fight for both sides to be honest. As I've been doing in the LGBTQA+ thread, I've been trying (and hopefully succeeding) to be more factual than anything, hence why I source things a lot. Being that it's something that impacts me personally I'm sure some of the things I say do come across more opinionated than factual. If I come across the wrong way in that thread and here I do want to apologize as that's not my intention. As said previously I'm short on time so if I skipped anything or accidentally misread anything I'm sorry! If you want me to address anything I will when I have the time. Due to the fragility of the topic, if it goes deeper I don't know how comfortable I'll be expanding on my thoughts on the matter so sorry if me cutting myself off here or in the future causes any inconvenience! OMM: I was looking through my old stuff from grade school and I found a bunch of stuff from 8th grade including the little autobiography I had to write for the little yearbook-esque thing my entire grade got and I started off my one paragraph with "I don't know if you've heard about this thing called the internet but it's pretty much my favorite thing." why didn't anyone stop me Very true. It's great to know that in a decade or two humanity as a whole will be a lot more accepting of others regardless of how they look, who they love, and how people just live their lives in general. It just kinda sucks knowing some of the people who are currently in power want to do everything they can from letting the world get to the point though. (Fox example, because of the Supreme Court ruling, a county in Alabama isn't issuing marriage licenses at all currently--not even to straight couples. ) Exactly! I mean, think about far humanity's come; the fact that we're talking and have the ability to converse through a virtual international forum was completely unthinkable a century ago! It's just really bemusing to think some parts of the world are still so violently anti-LGBT. I could get them still being intolerant of homosexuality and stigmatizing it but the fact that it's illegal is very unsettling.
