  1. There, he was essentially saying, "I know," in a way that wouldn't seem suspicious. The last thing Shuichi/Subaru wants to do is someone to find this out—why would he try to prove/make claims about this?
  2. I feel the Bourbon arc should've been comparable to the Haibara/Sherry (176–237/129–175) and Cell Phone (435–498/346–424) arcs—it should've been an interlude. Just like the Haibara/Sherry arc was an interlude between the Conan/Intro and Vermouth arcs and like the Cell Phone arc was an interlude between the Vermouth and Kir arcs, the Bourbon arc should've been an interlude between the Kir and the Rum arcs.
  3. Shinichi/Conan trusts Agasa the most, and even then, he wouldn't ask him to do that. A seven-year-old, no matter how smart? Doubtful, especially if one considers his ego pre-Tropical Land. Are you saying that Shuichi/Subaru really considered the possibility that Shinichi asked Conan to impersonate him, even with what he seems to know about Shiho/Ai?
  4. Man, that was quick. He's already the apprentice. The Bourbon arc would've been 2-3 years long if a bunch of cases were cut, and if certain elements from certain cut cases were grafted onto more important cases (Though one could take this further and apply it to the whole series, actually).
  5. Except he doesn't really need to. What other conclusion could be reached? That Shinichi asked Conan to impersonate him over the phone? It should be peculiar enough to anyone (especially someone who knows about the BO) that Shinichi seems to have no fear in letting another person, no matter who, do such a thing.
  6. I'd say these are both possible, but I'd also say Shukichi being at the first meeting between Shinichi, Ran and Masumi is more likely. If Ran's memories are stirred by MG, then maybe she saw Shukichi, as well—they haven't interacted, since he was introduced—Shinichi most likely just heard the name "Mary" and never saw Shukichi and his and Masumi's mother. Shuichi telling Shukichi about Shinichi/Conan is certainly possible, given that he (if he is the one in contact with Masumi) likely gave an explanation about his experience with Shinichi/Conan to her in the text at the end of File 861—there's no reason he couldn't have done the same with Shukichi, earlier.
  7. They could've fit way more into this, even with the stipulation about separating the 622–824 part of the Bourbon arc from the 825–897 part.
  8. And that's DC 2015, ladies and gentlemen. Your thoughts on this year's cases and files?
  9. I agree with this—"Hyoue" is likely someone who slipped in at the right time, and has passed himself off as the real thing. As for who he really is...
  10. In literally ten years, when Gosho writes the epilogue.
  11. I really don't think so. Recalling all the cases where she appeared alongside the DBs, no particular moment of that comes to mind, even from the Cell Phone Arc, onwards.
  12. Is there no file this week? I could've sworn that last week wasn't a double issue, and that it didn't say there'd be a break—rather, I thought it said that the subsequent issue was a double issue (for this week) and that next week would be a break. EDIT:
  13. File 238 Page 12 Page 13 You're partially right, as it does show them walking into the street—a single panel shows them in the street—the anime, however, put a focus on Gin and Vodka just walking out in the middle of traffic, multiple cars having to stop, and Gin showing off that intimidation factor of his by shutting up that rightfully ticked off driver.
  14. An AO moment—Gosho never drew such a scene. I guess the remaster was trying to be more faithful to the manga, but it seems—in this case—the Anime team made a great addition to the story.
  15. I'm just hard on myself—problematic in certain areas, of course. I just thought that since you blocked me on deviantart... ...I thought, "...wow. I #^ed up. I feel terrible."
  16. Let me just say this—I appreciate your work, immensely. What I said on deviantart, all those months ago? I was being honest with my feelings... but it was still wrong of me. As someone who is not an artist, I should've thought about the demand and care art requires before accusing you of "cheating your fans" by deciding to stop with something. It's only because of you that this even exists—I should just be thankful for that. I apologize for being an entitled, inconsiderate douchebag, in that moment (It may not have been on purpose, but that was likely how I came off). I've regretted it for all this time—I knew, the moment I read the last words in your response, "I'm done talking in circles," you meant "I'm done talking in circles with you." And, yes, so many (if not all) of my conversations with you were about your wariness in continuing with this story because of low reader feedback, and me trying to convince you otherwise, even though you continually said that doing it for the readers was just not enough. I may have damaged our relationship forever, but I still want to ask for your forgiveness. If you never want to converse with me again, though, just say it, and I'll gladly respect those wishes. Whatever your response to this post is, I wish you the best. DCU
  17. Except when he spoiled a big mystery through references of the latter. If his real name, revealed in Scarlet Showdown, had been the only one of his two names to feature "Rei" and "Amuro," it would've been fine. The second it was realized that "Amuro" was the name of this new character when reading Page 16 of File 793, it was pretty clear to a lot of people that he'd be Bourbon.
  18. At least Kazunobu was on the poll. EDIT: Apologies for the double post. I clicked the wrong thing. Isn't there a function to delete posts, like with DCTP? I don't see one, here.
