The DB. Conan can't make her smile- maybe when he does something childish that makes him seem like an actual kid because it in some way strengthens him with the DB- but the DB are the ultimate source of her smiles.

^ This. This SOOOOOOOOOO much. Sorry Ran fans- it's true. That's the thing- there are no negative things to focus on. She's a MARY-SUE. She has no "official" flaws. People hate her because Gosho made her too perfect. The only flaws people can find can be argued and messed with and formed in so many ways. She doesn't have Haibara's flaw of not trusting people, Heiji's hotheadedness, Ayumi's jealousy issues, Kaito's lack of modesty and fear of fish, Genta's food addiction, Mitsuhiko's insecurity, Kazuha's lack of logic (jumping to conclusions) and possessiveness, or her dad's alcohol problem (though it would be HILARIOUS to see that that was her hidden flaw all along- she hates her father drinking because then SHE wants a drink! XD lol). She's basically a fan-character that was made official. Mary-sue's annoy people- especially when they're one of the protagonists. It's not that they focus on the negative things- it's that there isn't anything negative THERE! While it is most likely that if you support AiCon you hate Ran, that's not true. I'm an AyuCon, and I had no problem with Ran but now, 600 episodes and 800 files later, when she STILL hasn't revealed ANY flaws, I strongly VERY VERY VERY STRONGLY dislike her and a huge HUGE portion of her fans. If she had been revealed to have any of the flaws above then more than HALF of the people who hate her now would be GONE.

Those are the best. But if I had to pick it would be Aoko and Kaito. They're more unique and interesting. ShinRan is just... no. It bores me. So what? He's "away" as far as she knows. How many housewives have to deal with that in a year? Two years? Three? Four? EVERY year? Sorry but it's just not going to attract my attention. ^^' Heiji and Kazuha are better in the respect that Heiji is a flirt. He's constantly flirting and looking at other girls. He's gotta get over that in order to be with Kazuha- because it hurts when the guy you love never looks at you that way. (As far as you know). Sato and Takagi... I didn't know were childhood friends. I've watched many episodes but I skip around as opposed to watching them in order. I'd have to see their story. My opinion may change at a later date. Kaito, first of all, approached Aoko when they were smaller all on his own as an attempt to cheer her up. Their first meeting was, rather literally, magical. (Now if only the clock had stuck a new hour just as she took the rose. ) He then, years later, is still friends with her and while he has millions and billions of fangirls, he still stands by her side and only flips her skirt and follows her and cares about her. He cares about others, yes, but he focuses on Aoko. He only runs off when he absolutely HAS to as opposed to Heiji and Shinichi running off whenever they see a case. He gets jealous over another by putting moves on his girlfriend and doesn't even glance twice at the prettiest girl in school as he talks to her. THEN he keeps the Kaitou KID thing a secret from her for fear she'll hate him- which means he's scared she won't care about him. This is logical since they aren't in any committed relationship. So yes, Kaito and Aoko FTW, forever no matter how many others childhood friends couples grow. lol

Yes. I loved that signature. Why did you change it? D: Well first of all, Haibara is on the same team as Mitsuhiko- and nobody BUT Mitsuhiko. If it were friendship-wise it would have been Ayumi. Second of all, Haibara seems to be wearing Mitsuhiko's cap! x3 I'm sorry. I was just in the "Vote for a non-Shinichi/Conan boyfriend for Haibara" thread and I had to post here. This couple is epic sauce. Anybody can see the ending. (LOL TWGOK reference.) And the ending holds their future together. Haibara needs Mitsuhiko. HEY! Shiho and Mitsuhiko... S & M. O_O DEAR GOD! GOSHO PLANNED IT! XD (I'm not using S & M in that way. I'm using it in the Kaichou wa Maid-sama way.) Mitsuhiko and Haibara are the best couple in DC as far as I'm concerned. Mitsuhiko is just so perfect for her- she needs a guy like him instead of some dangerous man. You need an S & an M. There aren't two pairs of pants in a relationship. I am at my brother's house for his birthday party, visiting. My parents have locked themselves in their room where they can't hear the noise and Hikari-Ai-Chi and I are sitting there observing. (She's dating him so. ) We have noticed that they do not talk as a group. Two people will be talking to each other while three will be talking to themselves and then there will be another 2 just screaming. (We don't even know who's making what sound anymore.) We were curious as to how they ALL fit into my brother's room and were horrified to find that it was one big Congo-line. Hikari-Ai-Chi and I are now locked in the computer room, watching anime and hoping that they don't find us. It's quiet... far too quiet. NOTE: Brother is younger than I am and has a couple more years of school to go.

I hate it when there are people who think boys OR girls are better. Boys, just because you have... things I refuse to mention... does not mean that you are better than girls. Girls, just because it used to be more common for guys to think of themselves higher than girls does NOT mean the girl power has to OVERPOWER the boys. The road goes BOTH WAYS. Why?

The way I see it if Mitsuhiko and Ayumi end up together it would only be because they're "on the rebound" and they didn't get Conan and Ai. It wouldn't feel right. XD I think AyumixConan has a chance of happening if we give it some time, I mean she's got more in common with Ran than Haibara does and more in common with Conan himself than EITHER of them! XD I'm sorry, Haibara and Ran just... don't seem to fit with him to me. What in the WORLD do they have in common? XD
