Newest thanks to Startold and Jimmy "A major love relationship is about to be revealed in the next case! A big couple is about to be born!" The last one just says "Guuuuun!" No idea what the last one refers to in terms of a gun, but the "couple" in question is getting people talking. As you know, Gosho had revealed that this year was where Ran would answer Shinichi's "confession". Then again, it could just be Chiba and that female officer whom no one cares about.

Newest AC translations, thanks to Jecka and Spimer. The first is a pretty funny blooper story from the recording of the anime version of "Scarlet Series" "When (Toru) Furuya, during his recording of "Scarlet Series" was supposed to say the line "Akai..Shuichi..", He accidentally said "Akai.. Suisei.." (Red Comet; Char's nickname from Gundam). The entire studio exploded with laughter. *Laughs*" "The anime version of "Scarlet Series" looks nice, however, I'd preferred that they'd used black for Yusaku's neck choker. Looks like they'll fix it on the DVD ( )v.."

I'm having the same problem. Neither the old or new attachments will work when I try to upload a picture, it won't upload unless it's at a size well below what it actually suggests, to the point where it's so microscopic you can barely see it. Clearing my browsing history doesn't help, either.

One of the users in the cBox referenced a theory someone had that she's possibly his daughter because her seiyuu also did the voice of the dictator's daughter in Gundam, however, if that's true, I wish Gosho would frigging stop it because in my opinion, the Gundam thing is getting old. It's gone from a reference to a full on ripoff.

Thanks SO much for the convenience, Chek! As for the the first one, I'm not sure. But, I believe the Rum confusion may be due to, as one user put it, the way different members of age see him. And have seen elements of his physical skill, body language, authority, etc. The third seems to me as if Scotch and Rei had some sort of friendship or something in the SP, possibly, again, as a user suggested, he helped him or guided him after infiltrating the Org. where Rei apparently grew up in. Then, around the time of Shuichi's infiltration, Scotch's true affiliation was found out, and Shuichi was possibly forced to kill him while Rei watched, earning his Rye codename, but Rei swore that he would never forgive him.

One of Gosho's answers in the latest Q&A session got me to thinking: "If Karate were in the Olympics, Ran would win the Gold Medal" I was thinking about something along those lines between my latest emotional breakdown between the hiatus periods of the alternate Bourbon story. Something that might give the Shin/Ran relationship some dramatic strain and depth. Perhaps during a break from school, Ran gets into a rather big karate tournament, and wins a major championship. Next thing you know, she's achieved a pretty sizable amount of fame, such as Shinich when the manga began. She's doing endorsements and magazine covers etc. Ran finds herself so busy with her new found notoriety that she doesn't have the time to communicate with Shinichi over the phone any more, nor spend much time at home with Conan, which causes him to feel somewhat jealous. This could also cause more reasons for him being unable to tell her about his secret, what with her becoming a public figure. I haven't figured out how it would be resolved, but it would be kind of a background event sprinkled throughout the story.
