Too bad for you~ Our ultimate plan is only to send my lady back to where she came from! If you didn't know, our lady was the first ever person to reach this world through a freak experiment accident. Won't explain how she got to this position but it wasn't easy. Finally we got here." "Now that you know why we require you, we don't owe you anything now. As such, we're leaving you now~ thank you so much for your help my dear~ you can keep the earrings. They look perfect on you," Juliet said as she smiled one last time before stepping into the portal, vanishing from sight. "Shouldn't keep my lady waiting," Laurence shrugged. "Looks like my fate with this world has ended... I wonder how my lady's world looks like?" He let out a soft laugh before turning to the Marker. "Well then~ I'll give you a little advice. Once you leave the capsule, the distortion will start to go unstable and the hole in the worlds will increase. The synchronization rate will start to decrease. However, you still can pass through the portal within ten minutes. Any later, there will be no guarantee where you will end up in. You might even get stuck within the distortion void space forever. That's all the advice I can give. My lady's waiting for me~ see ya back in your world~!" Kai blinked. It was a bit hard to take it all in. First Kuro-chan dying. She would never be able to forget that. Then Autumn. She had screamed for them to stop, but it was useless. She tried. But she couldn't do a single thing. As she got ready to leave, she felt a pang of sadness. Rest in peace, Kuro-chan. I'll see you in heaven someday, eh? You too, Autumn. I hope you guys got back into your world. It would suck if you really died. But I'm sure you didn't. I don't believe it. You guys have got to be alive and back. Maybe I'll even see you guys, when I get back. Who knows? The world is a crazy place, after all. She sighed. She scanned the room. I'm guess...I'm gonna miss these people too...even if some of them did try to kill me...She chuckled inside and said goodbye to everybody. "Bye, Misaki," She said to the 'hunter'. "I won't forgive you." She gave her a look. "Bye Tony, bye TJ," She gave them each a 'props'. "You guys did well. I wish we had guys like you in our world. She cracked a small smile. She then looked at the other hunter. She nodded to him and walked up to the portal. Just in front of the portal, she looked back at Misaki. She sighed again. Should I...? Or should I not? She couldn't not. So she walked back up to her. And looked at her for a good while. "I'm not saying I'll forgive you, but...friends?" She held out her hand and smiled. I know, I know, I'm probably stupid, but...I just can't not! It won't be me. I don't like being anyone's enemy. It's the end anyways, so...why not? Misaki looked a bit confused, but after a pause, shook her hand. Smiling inside, Kai walked confidently to the portal. "Here goes..." She took a deep breath and stepped inside. Inside, she felt a cool current of air from the bottom. Outside, the faces she had known for the past few days started fading. She waved to them, and they waved back. Goodbye... All went white. ~~~~~~~~ "HAHAHAAA!!!" A laugh escaped from someone really close by. A series of laughter followed. Kai rubbed her eyes. She put her hand over her nose without even knowing why. "Ouch!" A girl with short cropped hair was laughing her arm off. She looked...a bit blurry. "That...was....hilarious!" "What happened?" Kai asked, feeling very very confused. She looked around, but everything was a blur. She then realized she didn't have her glasses. She looked on the ground. 'Ah.' Her glasses was a few feet away, and a few more from a soccer ball. She picked them up and put them back on her head. She still felt a bit dizzy. "What happened?" She asked again. "Dude, you totally got pwned!! I don't even know how it happened! Aw man, you should've seen it! The ball went like 'pewwww', right on your nose! It was soo funny! You didn't even try to like, duck it or anything! Straight on, man! Haha, you're lucky your glasses didn't crack! Kai, girl, why didn't you head it? You were like riiight in front of the net! Ah well, are you okay?" The girl held out her hand. "Wh...Where am I?" The girl looked at her funnily. "Uhmm, are you sure you're okay, dude?" A couple people laughed. "Earth to Kaiii? You're on the soccer field? At...school? Hellooooo~~~" Kai blinked. "Really?" She slowly smiled, then full-on grinned. "I'm...home?" "Uh....Home?" The girl echoed. "What are you talking about? This is soccer practice?" She waved her hand over my face. "Do you need to go to the office? Like, ice, maybe?" "Ah, no no, it's all good," Kai smiled. She completely forgot about her nose now. A surge of excitement went through her. I'm back...! I'm really back...!!! She bounced up and down for a second. The grass under her feet had never felt so good. The wind on her braids, the sun on her white-and-red uniform, the cheers of her teammates when she got up. Kai smiled. She kicked the ball and it soared into the air. "Let's play!" ------- (THE END~ Yeaaaah, I decided not to make my 'world-travelling' take up any of real time. xP It was fun though~ Like, really. XD My first (well, if you don't count the DCW IRL from waaaay back when) IRL! Thanks a lot, KKLT~ It was awesome! I really enjoyed it. "This way!" Around another corner. Kai panted for air. She started to slow down her run. She knew she couldn't keep it up for long; She was never too great at long-period runs. The rest of the crew, however, seemed fine. Suddenly, a sharp pain in her stomach. She had a cramp. Slowing down to a walk, she stopped to breathe. 'I'll find them soon enough,' She thought. Watching them run past her, she realized she still hadn't seen Misaki and Kuro-chan. She looked back, and thought she saw a shadow from the corner they'd just turned from. Creeping up, she saw Misaki. She looked...different, for some reason. The friendliness in her eyes just minutes ago seemed to vanish. "Who's there?" Misaki whipped her head around. Her voice had been so cold. Kai quickly ducked her head back, heart beating. A long second of silence passed. Kai swore her breathing would've alerted her and she would come any second, but Misaki didn't seem to have noticed her. Soon, she heard Misaki's footsteps going away. Kai stayed behind the corner that for a whole minute, and once she made sure Misaki had gone, she poked her head around again. Checking that no one was there, she crept forwards. I wonder what she was doing here? And....where's Kuro-chan? Suddenly, Kai stopped dead in her tracks. "Kuro-chan!?" Kai gasped and ran towards her friend, who was lying on the ground. A pool of blood had formed around her. "Kuro-chan?!!" Her chest was stabbed, and she was bleeding from another cut from her hand. Her black clothes gleamed with the amount of blood. Taking her sweater off, she ripped a piece of her T-Shirt sleeve and wrapped it around her hand. She ripped a bigger piece, and pressed it against her chest. The blood seemed to slow down a little. "Wha..Wha...Who did this?" She felt her hand. It was cold, but there was a tiny flicker of warmth left. "Kuro-chan? Kuro-chan?" She called desperately for her friend. Tears welled up and she didn't try to blink them away. "Kuro-chan!! Sakila...!!!"

Kai couldn't believe it. She was the marker! She would've never guessed. Excitement prickled in her spine as she walked out of the room with the others. To the airship! I wonder what kind of map the Bunny will send us... A few minutes later, there was an announcement. "Paging for Alexandra, Misaki and Raullen. There are intruders in the HQ. Orders are to kill all intruders. A death order will be issued for the hunters who disobey the orders." Then, Kai heard someone else say something out of the hunter girl's watch. She wasn't too close, but she could make out a couple words. "Misaki. This...Weasel....order..Kill...intruders...the HQ...tries...the top...all." 'Kill', 'intruders', and 'HQ'...I wonder... "We're going up here!" Laurence shouted before turning a right. Everyone else followed behind. Kai looked around for Kuro-chan, but soon saw Misaki take her wrist and pull her to the back. They were whispering something, so Kai decided not to intrude this time. As they ran on, they realized the lights got brighter. "How creepy," Kai muttered. She glanced at Laurence, their leader. He seemed so nonchalant. Kai, however, was starting to run out of breath. 'Dammit', she thought, 'I should've joined cross-country when I could've...' She silently laughed at herself and willed herself on. *BEEP BEEP* The watches flashed red, and a picture popped up on their screens. "It's the map!"

As Kuro-chan peeled off the piece of paper, Kai watched curiously. What could it possibly say? I just hope it's not from that dreadfully creepy bunny person again... Kuro-chan finally unfolded it and read it aloud. "Wanna know more about the truth? Meet me in the HQ 2nd story AV room. Bring the prey along....Laurence." "Well," Kuro-chan said after reading it, looking at the girl with the bulletproof vest and the two other guys. "Know anyone called Laurence?" 'I know I don't,' thought Kai. 'But I do want to know 'the truth'...'She looked at Automn, and they both shared a confused-but-excited-at-the-same-time look. "Laurence..." She muttered, trying to get the feel of the name. She shrugged. "Doesn't ring a bell." Then she looked at the others and wondered if they were familiar with the name.
